Ézéchiel 32
1 Et il arriva, en la douzième année, au douzième mois, le premier [jour] du mois, que la parole de l’Éternel vint à moi, disant:
And in the twelfth yeere in the twelfth moneth, and in the first day of the moneth, the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
2 Fils d’homme, élève une complainte sur le Pharaon, le roi d’Égypte, et dis-lui: Tu étais semblable à un jeune lion parmi les nations, tu étais comme un monstre dans les eaux; et tu t’élançais dans tes fleuves, et tu troublais les eaux avec tes pieds, et tu rendais bourbeux leurs fleuves.
Sonne of man, take vp a lamentation for Pharaoh King of Egypt, and say vnto him, Thou art like a lyon of the nations and art as a dragon in the sea: thou castedst out thy riuers and troubledst the waters with thy feete, and stampedst in their riuers.
3 Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel: J’étendrai sur toi mon rets par un rassemblement de peuples nombreux, et ils te feront monter avec mon filet;
Thus sayth the Lord God, I will therefore spread my net ouer thee with a great multitude of people, and they shall make thee come vp into my net.
4 et je te laisserai là, sur la terre, je te jetterai sur la face des champs, et je ferai demeurer sur toi tous les oiseaux des cieux et je rassasierai de toi les bêtes de toute la terre.
Then will I leaue thee vpon the land, and I will cast thee vpon the open field, and I wil cause all the foules of the heauen to remaine vpon thee, and I will fill all the beastes of the field with thee.
5 Et je mettrai ta chair sur les montagnes, et je remplirai les vallées du monceau de tes membres;
And I will lay thy flesh vpon the mountaines, and fill the valleys with thine height.
6 et j’arroserai de ton sang le pays où tu nages, jusqu’aux montagnes; et les ravins seront remplis de toi.
I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, euen to ye mountaines, and the riuers shall be full of thee.
7 Et quand je t’éteindrai, je couvrirai les cieux, et j’obscurcirai leurs étoiles; je couvrirai le soleil de nuages, et la lune ne fera pas luire sa clarté.
And when I shall put thee out, I will couer the heauen, and make the starres thereof darke: I will couer the sunne with a cloude, and the moone shall not giue her light.
8 Tous les luminaires qui luisent dans les cieux, je les obscurcirai à cause de toi, et je mettrai les ténèbres sur ton pays, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel.
All the lightes of heauen will I make darke for thee, and bring darkenesse vpon thy lande, sayeth the Lord God.
9 Et je troublerai le cœur de beaucoup de peuples, quand je ferai parvenir [la nouvelle de] ta ruine parmi les nations, dans des pays que tu n’as pas connus.
I will also trouble the heartes of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations and vpon the countries which thou hast not knowen.
10 Et je frapperai de stupeur à cause de toi beaucoup de peuples; et leurs rois frémiront d’horreur à cause de toi, quand je brandirai mon épée devant eux, et ils trembleront à tout moment, chacun pour sa vie, au jour de ta chute.
Yea, I will make many people amased at thee, and their Kings shalbe astonished with feare for thee, when I shall make my sworde to glitter against their faces, and they shall be afraide at euery moment: euery man for his owne life in the day of thy fall.
11 Car ainsi dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel: L’épée du roi de Babylone viendra sur toi.
For thus sayth the Lord God, The sworde of the King of Babel shall come vpon thee.
12 Par les épées des hommes forts je ferai tomber ta multitude; tous, ils sont les terribles d’entre les nations, et ils détruiront l’orgueil de l’Égypte, et toute sa multitude sera anéantie.
By the swordes of the mightie will I cause thy multitude to fall: they all shall be terrible nations, and they shall destroy the pompe of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shalbe consumed.
13 Et je ferai périr tout son bétail d’auprès des grandes eaux; et le pied de l’homme ne les troublera plus, et l’ongle divisé du bétail ne les troublera plus.
I will destroy also all the beastes thereof from the great watersides, neither shall the foote of man trouble them any more, nor the hooues of beast trouble them.
14 Alors je rendrai leurs eaux limpides, et je ferai couler leurs rivières comme de l’huile, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel.
Then will I make their waters deepe, and cause their riuers to runne like oyle, sayeth the Lord God.
15 Quand j’aurai fait du pays d’Égypte une désolation, et que le pays sera désolé, [vide] de ce qu’il contient, quand j’aurai frappé tous ceux qui y habitent, alors ils sauront que je suis l’Éternel.
When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the countrey with all that is therein, shall be laid waste: when I shall smite all them which dwell therein, then shall they know that I am ye Lord.
16 C’est une complainte, et on la dira pour se lamenter; les filles des nations la diront en se lamentant, elles la diront en se lamentant sur l’Égypte et sur toute sa multitude, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel.
This is the mourning wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for Egypt, and for all her multitude, sayeth the Lord God.
17 Et il arriva, la douzième année, le quinzième [jour] du mois, que la parole de l’Éternel vint à moi, disant:
In the twelfth yeere also in the fifteenth day of the moneth, came the worde of the Lord vnto me, saying,
18 Fils d’homme, gémis sur la multitude de l’Égypte, et fais-la descendre, elle et les filles des nations magnifiques, dans les lieux bas de la terre, avec ceux qui descendent dans la fosse.
Sonne of man, lament for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them downe, euen them and the daughters of the mighty nations vnto the nether partes of the earth, with them that goe downe into the pit.
19 À qui es-tu supérieure en agrément? Descends, et sois couchée avec les incirconcis.
Whome doest thou passe in beautie? goe downe and sleepe with the vncircumcised.
20 Ils tomberont parmi ceux qui ont été tués par l’épée; l’épée a été donnée; traînez l’Égypte et toute sa multitude.
They shall fall in the middes of them that are slaine by the sword: shee is deliuered to the sword: draw her downe, and all her multitude.
21 Les forts d’entre les puissants, avec ceux qui l’avaient aidé, lui parleront du milieu du shéol; ils sont descendus, ils sont couchés, incirconcis, tués par l’épée. (Sheol h7585)
The most mighty and strong shall speake to him out of the mids of hell with them that helpe her: they are gone downe and sleepe with the vncircumcised that be slaine by the sworde. (Sheol h7585)
22 Là est Assur et toute son assemblée, ses sépulcres autour de lui: tous tués, tombés par l’épée.
Asshur is there and all his companie: their graues are about him: all they are slaine and fallen by the sworde.
23 Ses sépulcres ont été posés au fond de la fosse, et son assemblée est autour de son sépulcre: tous tués, tombés par l’épée, eux qui répandaient la terreur sur la terre des vivants.
Whose graues are made in the side of the pit, and his multitude are rounde about his graue: all they are slaine and fallen by the sworde, which caused feare to be in the land of the liuing.
24 Là est Élam, et toute sa multitude autour de son sépulcre: tous tués, tombés par l’épée; ils sont descendus incirconcis dans les lieux bas de la terre, eux qui répandaient leur terreur sur la terre des vivants, et qui ont porté leur confusion avec ceux qui sont descendus dans la fosse.
There is Elam and all his multitude round about his graue: al they are slaine and fallen by the sword which are gone downe with the vncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused themselues to be feared in the land of the liuing, yet haue they borne their shame with them that are gone downe to the pit.
25 On a mis sa couche au milieu des tués, avec toute sa multitude, ses sépulcres autour de lui: eux tous incirconcis, tués par l’épée, quoique leur terreur ait été répandue sur la terre des vivants; et ils portent leur confusion avec ceux qui descendent dans la fosse: il a été placé parmi les tués.
They haue made his bed in the mids of the slaine with al his multitude: their graues are round about him: all these vncircucised are slaine by the sworde: though they haue caused their feare in the land of ye liuing, yet haue they borne their shame with them that goe downe to the pitte: they are laide in the middes of them, that be slaine.
26 Là est Méshec, Tubal, et toute leur multitude, leurs sépulcres autour d’eux: eux tous incirconcis, tués par l’épée, quoiqu’ils aient répandu leur terreur sur la terre des vivants.
There is Meshech, Tubal, and all their multitude, their graues are round about them: al these vncircumcised were slaine by the sworde, though they caused their feare to be in ye land of the liuing.
27 Et ils n’ont pas été couchés avec les hommes forts, tombés d’entre les incirconcis, qui sont descendus dans le shéol avec leurs instruments de guerre, et sous la tête desquels on a mis leurs épées, et dont les iniquités sont sur leurs os; quoiqu’ils aient été la terreur des hommes forts sur la terre des vivants. And they shall not lie with the valiant of the vncircumcised, that are fallen, which are gone down to the graue, with their weapons of warre, and haue laied their swords vnder their heads, but their iniquitie shalbe vpon their bones: because they were the feare of the mighty in the lande of the liuing. (Sheol h7585)
28 Toi aussi, tu as été brisée au milieu des incirconcis, et tu es couchée avec ceux qui ont été tués par l’épée.
Yea, thou shalt be broken in the middes of the vncircumcised, and lie with them that are slaine by the sworde.
29 Là est Édom, ses rois, et tous ses princes, qui, dans leur vaillance, ont été placés avec ceux qui ont été tués par l’épée; ils sont couchés avec les incirconcis et avec ceux qui sont descendus dans la fosse.
There is Edom, his Kings, and all his princes, which with their strength are laied by them that were slaine by the sworde: they shall sleepe with the vncircumcised, and with them that goe downe to the pit.
30 Là sont les princes du nord, eux tous, et tous les Sidoniens, qui sont descendus avec les tués, honteux de la terreur qu’ils répandaient par leur vaillance; et ils sont couchés incirconcis avec ceux qui ont été tués par l’épée, et ils portent leur confusion avec ceux qui sont descendus dans la fosse.
There be al the princes of the North, with al the Zidonians, which are gone downe with the slaine, with their feare: they are ashamed of their strength, and the vncircumcised sleepe with them that be slaine by the sword, and beare their shame with them that goe downe to the pit.
31 Le Pharaon les verra, et il sera consolé au sujet de toute sa multitude, le Pharaon et toute son armée, tués par l’épée, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel.
Pharaoh shall see them, and hee shall be comforted ouer all his multitude: Pharaoh, and all his armie shall be slaine by the sword, saieth the Lord God.
32 Car j’ai répandu ma terreur dans la terre des vivants; et il sera couché au milieu des incirconcis, avec ceux qui ont été tués par l’épée, le Pharaon, et toute sa multitude, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel.
For I haue caused my feare to be in the lande of the liuing: and he shall be laid in the mids of the vncircumcised with them, that are slaine by the sword, euen Pharaoh and all his multitude, sayeth the Lord God.
