Exode 16

1 Et ils partirent d’Élim, toute l’assemblée des fils d’Israël, et vinrent au désert de Sin, qui est entre Élim et Sinaï, le quinzième jour du second mois après leur sortie du pays d’Égypte.

and to set out from Elim and to come (in): come all congregation son: descendant/people Israel to(wards) wilderness Sin which between Elim and between Sinai in/on/with five ten day to/for month [the] second to/for to come out: come them from land: country/planet Egypt

2 Et toute l’assemblée des fils d’Israël murmura contre Moïse et contre Aaron, dans le désert.

(and to grumble *Q(K)*) all congregation son: descendant/people Israel upon Moses and upon Aaron in/on/with wilderness

3 Et les fils d’Israël leur dirent: Ah! que ne sommes-nous morts par la main de l’Éternel dans le pays d’Égypte, quand nous étions assis auprès des pots de chair, quand nous mangions du pain à satiété! Car vous nous avez fait sortir dans ce désert pour faire mourir de faim toute cette congrégation.

and to say to(wards) them son: descendant/people Israel who? to give: if only! to die we in/on/with hand: power LORD in/on/with land: country/planet Egypt in/on/with to dwell we upon pot [the] flesh in/on/with to eat we food: bread to/for satiety for to come out: send [obj] us to(wards) [the] wilderness [the] this to/for to die [obj] all [the] assembly [the] this in/on/with famine

4 Et l’Éternel dit à Moïse: Voici, je vais vous faire pleuvoir des cieux du pain, et le peuple sortira, et en recueillera chaque jour la portion d’un jour, afin que je l’éprouve, [pour voir] s’il marchera dans ma loi, ou non.

and to say LORD to(wards) Moses look! I to rain to/for you food: bread from [the] heaven and to come out: come [the] people and to gather word: portion day in/on/with day his because to test him to go: walk in/on/with instruction my if not

5 Et il arrivera que, le sixième jour, ils prépareront ce qu’ils auront rapporté, et ce sera le double de ce qu’ils recueilleront chaque jour.

and to be in/on/with day [the] sixth and to establish: prepare [obj] which to come (in): bring and to be second upon which to gather day: daily day: daily

6 Et Moïse et Aaron dirent à tous les fils d’Israël: Au soir vous saurez que l’Éternel vous a fait sortir du pays d’Égypte;

and to say Moses and Aaron to(wards) all son: descendant/people Israel evening and to know for LORD to come out: send [obj] you from land: country/planet Egypt

7 et, au matin, vous verrez la gloire de l’Éternel, parce qu’il a entendu vos murmures contre l’Éternel; car que sommes-nous, que vous murmuriez contre nous?

and morning and to see: see [obj] glory LORD in/on/with to hear: hear he [obj] murmuring your upon LORD and we what? for (to grumble *Q(K)*) upon us

8 Et Moïse dit: [Ce sera] en ce que l’Éternel vous donnera le soir de la chair à manger, et au matin du pain à satiété; parce que l’Éternel a entendu vos murmures que vous avez proférés contre lui; car que sommes-nous? Vos murmures ne sont pas contre nous, mais contre l’Éternel.

and to say Moses in/on/with to give: give LORD to/for you in/on/with evening flesh to/for to eat and food: bread in/on/with morning to/for to satisfy in/on/with to hear: hear LORD [obj] murmuring your which you(m. p.) to grumble upon him and we what? not upon us murmuring your for upon LORD

9 Et Moïse dit à Aaron: Dis à toute l’assemblée des fils d’Israël: Approchez-vous devant l’Éternel; car il a entendu vos murmures.

and to say Moses to(wards) Aaron to say to(wards) all congregation son: descendant/people Israel to present: come to/for face: before LORD for to hear: hear [obj] murmuring your

10 Et il arriva, comme Aaron parlait à toute l’assemblée des fils d’Israël, qu’ils se tournèrent vers le désert; et voici, la gloire de l’Éternel parut dans la nuée.

and to be like/as to speak: speak Aaron to(wards) all congregation son: descendant/people Israel and to turn to(wards) [the] wilderness and behold glory LORD to see: see in/on/with cloud

11 Et l’Éternel parla à Moïse, disant:

and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say

12 J’ai entendu les murmures des fils d’Israël. Parle-leur, disant: Entre les deux soirs vous mangerez de la chair, et au matin vous serez rassasiés de pain; et vous saurez que je suis l’Éternel, votre Dieu.

to hear: hear [obj] murmuring son: descendant/people Israel to speak: speak to(wards) them to/for to say between [the] evening to eat flesh and in/on/with morning to satisfy food: bread and to know for I LORD God your

13 Et il arriva, le soir, que des cailles montèrent et couvrirent le camp; et, au matin, il y eut une couche de rosée autour du camp;

and to be in/on/with evening and to ascend: rise [the] quail and to cover [obj] [the] camp and in/on/with morning to be semen [the] dew around to/for camp

14 et la couche de rosée se leva, et voici sur la surface du désert quelque chose de menu, de grenu, quelque chose de menu comme la gelée blanche sur la terre.

and to ascend: rise semen [the] dew and behold upon face: surface [the] wilderness thin to peel thin like/as frost upon [the] land: soil

15 Et les fils d’Israël le virent, et se dirent l’un à l’autre: Qu’est-ce que cela? Car ils ne savaient ce que c’était. Et Moïse leur dit: C’est le pain que l’Éternel vous a donné à manger.

16 Voici la parole que l’Éternel a commandée: Recueillez-en, chacun en proportion de ce qu’il peut manger, un omer par tête, selon le nombre de vos personnes; vous en prendrez chacun pour ceux qui sont dans sa tente.

this [the] word which to command LORD to gather from him man: anyone to/for lip: according food his omer to/for head number soul: person your man: anyone to/for which in/on/with tent his to take: take

17 Et les fils d’Israël firent ainsi, et ils recueillirent, l’un beaucoup, l’autre peu.

and to make: do so son: descendant/people Israel and to gather [the] to multiply and [the] to diminish

18 Et ils mesurèrent à l’omer: et celui qui avait beaucoup, n’eut pas trop; et celui qui avait peu, n’en manqua pas; ils avaient recueilli, chacun en proportion de ce qu’il mangeait.

and to measure in/on/with omer and not to remain [the] to multiply and [the] to diminish not to lack man: anyone to/for lip: according food his to gather

19 Et Moïse leur dit: Que personne n’en laisse de reste jusqu’au matin.

and to say Moses to(wards) them man: anyone not to remain from him till morning

20 Mais ils n’écoutèrent pas Moïse, et quelques-uns [d’entre eux] en laissèrent de reste jusqu’au matin; et il s’y engendra des vers, et cela puait: et Moïse se mit en colère contre eux.

and not to hear: hear to(wards) Moses and to remain human from him till morning and be rotten worm and to stink and be angry upon them Moses

21 Et ils en recueillaient chaque matin, chacun en proportion de ce qu’il mangeait; et à la chaleur du soleil cela fondait.

and to gather [obj] him in/on/with morning in/on/with morning man: anyone like/as lip: according food his and to warm [the] sun and to melt

22 Et il arriva que, le sixième jour, ils recueillirent du pain au double, deux omers pour chacun; et tous les principaux de l’assemblée vinrent et le rapportèrent à Moïse.

and to be in/on/with day [the] sixth to gather food: bread second two [the] omer to/for one and to come (in): come all leader [the] congregation and to tell to/for Moses

23 Et il leur dit: C’est ici ce que l’Éternel a dit: Demain est le repos, le sabbat consacré à l’Éternel; faites cuire ce que vous avez à cuire, et faites bouillir ce que vous avez à faire bouillir, et tout le surplus serrez-le pour vous, pour le garder jusqu’au matin.

and to say to(wards) them he/she/it which to speak: speak LORD sabbath observance Sabbath holiness to/for LORD tomorrow [obj] which to bake to bake and [obj] which to boil to boil and [obj] all [the] to remain to rest to/for you to/for charge till [the] morning

24 Et ils le serrèrent jusqu’au matin, comme Moïse l’avait commandé; et cela ne pua point, et il n’y eut point de vers dedans.

and to rest [obj] him till [the] morning like/as as which to command Moses and not to stink and worm not to be in/on/with him

25 Et Moïse dit: Mangez-le aujourd’hui, car aujourd’hui est le sabbat [consacré] à l’Éternel; aujourd’hui vous n’en trouverez point aux champs.

and to say Moses to eat him [the] day for Sabbath [the] day to/for LORD [the] day not to find him in/on/with land: country

26 Six jours vous en recueillerez, mais au septième jour est le sabbat; il n’y en aura point en ce [jour-là].

six day to gather him and in/on/with day [the] seventh Sabbath not to be in/on/with him

27 Et il arriva, le septième jour, que quelques-uns du peuple sortirent pour en recueillir, et ils n’en trouvèrent point.

and to be in/on/with day [the] seventh to come out: come from [the] people to/for to gather and not to find

28 Et l’Éternel dit à Moïse: Jusques à quand refuserez-vous de garder mes commandements et mes lois?

and to say LORD to(wards) Moses till where? to refuse to/for to keep: obey commandment my and instruction my

29 Voyez que l’Éternel vous a donné le sabbat; c’est pourquoi il vous donne au sixième jour du pain pour deux jours. Que chacun reste chez lui; que personne ne sorte du lieu où il est, le septième jour.

to see: behold! for LORD to give: give to/for you [the] Sabbath upon so he/she/it to give: give to/for you in/on/with day [the] sixth food: bread day to dwell man: anyone underneath: stand him not to come out: come man: anyone from place his in/on/with day [the] seventh

30 Et le peuple se reposa le septième jour.

and to cease [the] people in/on/with day [the] seventh

31 Et la maison d’Israël appela le nom de cela manne. Et elle était comme de la semence de coriandre, blanche, et avait le goût d’un gâteau au miel.

and to call: call by house: household Israel [obj] name his manna and he/she/it like/as seed coriander white and taste his like/as flatbread in/on/with honey

32 Et Moïse dit: Voici la parole que l’Éternel a commandée: Qu’on en remplisse un omer pour le garder pour vos générations, afin qu’elles voient le pain que je vous ai fait manger dans le désert, lorsque je vous ai fait sortir du pays d’Égypte.

and to say Moses this [the] word: thing which to command LORD fullness [the] omer from him to/for charge to/for generation your because to see: see [obj] [the] food: bread which to eat [obj] you in/on/with wilderness in/on/with to come out: send I [obj] you from land: country/planet Egypt

33 Et Moïse dit à Aaron: Prends une cruche, et mets-y plein un omer de manne, et pose-la devant l’Éternel, pour la garder pour vos générations.

and to say Moses to(wards) Aaron to take: take jar one and to give: if only! there [to] fullness [the] omer manna and to rest [obj] him to/for face: before LORD to/for charge to/for generation your

34 Comme l’Éternel l’avait commandé à Moïse, Aaron la posa devant le témoignage pour être gardée.

like/as as which to command LORD to(wards) Moses and to rest him Aaron to/for face: before [the] testimony to/for charge

35 Et les fils d’Israël mangèrent la manne 40 ans, jusqu’à ce qu’ils entrèrent dans un pays habité; ils mangèrent la manne jusqu’à leur arrivée à la frontière du pays de Canaan.

and son: descendant/people Israel to eat [obj] [the] manna forty year till to come (in): come they to(wards) land: country/planet to dwell [obj] [the] manna to eat till to come (in): come they to(wards) end land: country/planet Canaan
