2 Samuel 7
1 Et quand le roi habita dans sa maison, et que, tout autour, l’Éternel lui eut donné du repos de tous ses ennemis,
And it was that he dwelt the king in house his and Yahweh he had given rest to him from round about from all enemies his.
2 il arriva que le roi dit à Nathan, le prophète: Regarde, je te prie, moi j’habite dans une maison de cèdres, et l’arche de Dieu habite sous des tapis.
And he said the king to Nathan the prophet see please I [am] dwelling in a house of cedar and [the] ark of God [is] dwelling in [the] midst of the tent curtain.
3 Et Nathan dit au roi: Va, fais tout ce qui est dans ton cœur, car l’Éternel est avec toi.
And he said Nathan to the king all that [is] in heart your go do for Yahweh [is] with you.
4 Et il arriva, cette nuit-là, que la parole de l’Éternel vint à Nathan, disant:
And it was in the night that and it came [the] word of Yahweh to Nathan saying.
5 Va, et dis à mon serviteur, à David: Ainsi dit l’Éternel: Me bâtirais-tu une maison pour que j’y habite?
Go and you will say to servant my to David thus he says Yahweh ¿ you will you build for me a house to dwell in I.
6 car je n’ai pas habité dans une maison, depuis le jour où j’ai fait monter les fils d’Israël hors d’Égypte, jusqu’à ce jour; mais j’ai marché çà et là dans une tente et dans un tabernacle.
For not I have dwelt in a house from [the] day brought up I [the] people of Israel from Egypt and until the day this and I have been going about in a tent and in a tabernacle.
7 Partout où j’ai marché au milieu de tous les fils d’Israël, ai-je dit un mot à quelqu’une des tribus d’Israël à laquelle j’ai commandé de paître mon peuple Israël, en disant: Pourquoi ne me bâtissez-vous pas une maison de cèdres?
In every where I went about among all [the] people of Israel ¿ a word did I speak with one of [the] tribes of Israel whom I commanded to shepherd people my Israel saying why? not have you built for me a house of cedars.
8 Et maintenant tu diras ainsi à mon serviteur, à David: Ainsi dit l’Éternel des armées: Je t’ai pris des parcs, d’auprès du menu bétail, pour que tu sois prince sur mon peuple, sur Israël;
And therefore thus you will say to servant my to David thus he says Yahweh of hosts I I took you from the pasture from after the flock to be ruler over people my over Israel.
9 et j’ai été avec toi partout où tu as marché; et j’ai retranché tous tes ennemis de devant toi, et je t’ai fait un grand nom, comme le nom des grands qui sont sur la terre.
And I have been with you in every where you went and I cut off! all enemies your from before you and I will make for you a name great like [the] name of the great [people] who [are] on the earth.
10 Et j’ai établi un lieu à mon peuple, à Israël, et je le planterai, et il habitera chez lui et ne sera plus agité; et les fils d’iniquité ne l’affligeront plus comme au commencement,
And I will appoint a place for people my for Israel and I will plant it and it will dwell in it and not it will be agitated again and not they will repeat sons of injustice to afflict it just as at the former [time].
11 et depuis le jour où j’ai établi des juges sur mon peuple Israël. Et je t’ai donné du repos de tous tes ennemis; et l’Éternel t’annonce que l’Éternel te fera une maison.
And from the day when I appointed judges over people my Israel and I will give rest to you from all enemies your and he tells to you Yahweh that a house he will make for you Yahweh.
12 Quand tes jours seront accomplis et que tu dormiras avec tes pères, je susciterai après toi ta semence qui sortira de tes entrailles, et j’affermirai son royaume.
If - they will be completed days your and you will lie down with ancestors your and I will raise up offspring your after you who he will come out from inward parts your and I will establish kingdom his.
13 Lui, bâtira une maison à mon nom; et j’affermirai le trône de son royaume pour toujours.
He he will build a house for name my and I will establish [the] throne of kingdom his until perpetuity.
14 Moi, je lui serai pour père, et lui me sera pour fils: s’il commet l’iniquité, je le châtierai avec une verge d’hommes et avec des plaies des fils des hommes;
I I will become of him a father and he he will become of me a son who when does wrong he and I will reprove him with a rod of men and with wounds of children of humankind.
15 mais ma bonté ne se retirera point de lui, comme je l’ai retirée d’avec Saül que j’ai ôté de devant toi.
And covenant loyalty my not it will depart from him just as I removed [it] from with Saul whom I removed from to before you.
16 Et ta maison et ton royaume seront rendus stables à toujours devant toi, ton trône sera affermi pour toujours.
And it will be established house your and kingdom your until perpetuity before you throne your it will be established until perpetuity.
17 Nathan parla ainsi à David, selon toutes ces paroles et selon toute cette vision.
According to all the words these and according to all the vision this so he spoke Nathan to David.
18 Et le roi David entra et s’assit devant l’Éternel, et dit: Qui suis-je, Seigneur Éternel! et quelle est ma maison, que tu m’aies amené jusqu’ici?
And he went the king David and he sat before Yahweh and he said who? [am] I O Lord Yahweh and who? [is] house my that you have brought me to here.
19 Et encore cela a été peu de chose à tes yeux, Seigneur Éternel! et tu as même parlé de la maison de ton serviteur pour un long avenir. Est-ce là la manière de l’homme, Seigneur Éternel?
And it was small yet this [thing] in view your O Lord Yahweh and you have spoken also concerning [the] house of servant your from distant [time] and this [is] [the] manner of humankind O Lord Yahweh.
20 Et David, que pourrait-il te dire de plus? Et toi, Seigneur Éternel, tu connais ton serviteur.
And what? will he increase David again to speak to you and you you know servant your O Lord Yahweh.
21 C’est à cause de ta parole, et selon ton cœur, que tu as fait toute cette grande chose, pour la faire connaître à ton serviteur.
For sake of word your and according to own heart your you have done all the greatness this to make know [it] servant your.
22 C’est pourquoi, Éternel Dieu! tu t’es montré grand, car il n’y en a point comme toi, et il n’y a point de Dieu si ce n’est toi, selon tout ce que nous avons entendu de nos oreilles.
There-fore you are great O Lord Yahweh for there not [is] like you and there not [is] a God except you in all that we have heard with ears our.
23 Et qui est comme ton peuple, comme Israël, seule nation sur la terre que Dieu soit allé racheter, afin qu’elle lui soit un peuple, et pour se faire un nom à lui-même, et pour opérer en leur faveur cette grande chose, et des choses terribles pour ton pays, devant ton peuple, que tu t’es racheté d’Égypte, des nations et de leurs dieux?
And who? [is] like people your like Israel a nation one on the earth which they went God to redeem for himself to a people and to make for himself a name and to do for you greatness and awesome [deeds] for land your from before people your which you redeemed for yourself from Egypt nations and gods its.
24 Et tu t’es établi ton peuple Israël pour peuple, à toujours; et toi, Éternel, tu es devenu leur Dieu.
And you established for yourself people your Israel - of you to a people until perpetuity and you O Yahweh you have become for them God.
25 Et maintenant, Éternel Dieu! confirme pour toujours la parole que tu as prononcée touchant ton serviteur et touchant sa maison, et fais comme tu as dit;
And now O Yahweh God the word which you have spoken on servant your and on house his establish until perpetuity and do just as you have spoken.
26 et que ton nom soit magnifié à toujours, de sorte qu’on dise: L’Éternel des armées est Dieu sur Israël. Et que la maison de ton serviteur David soit affermie devant toi!
And it may be great name your until perpetuity saying Yahweh of hosts [is] God over Israel and [the] house of servant your David it will be established before you.
27 Car toi, Éternel des armées, Dieu d’Israël, tu as révélé à ton serviteur, disant: Je te bâtirai une maison; c’est pourquoi ton serviteur a trouvé son cœur pour te faire cette prière.
For you O Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel you have uncovered [the] ear of servant your saying a house I will build for you there-fore he has found servant your heart his to pray to you the prayer this.
28 Et maintenant, Seigneur Éternel, toi, tu es Dieu, et tes paroles sont vraies, et tu as dit ce bien à ton serviteur.
And now - O Lord Yahweh you he [are] God and words your they are truth and you have spoken to servant your the good this.
29 Et maintenant, qu’il te plaise de bénir la maison de ton serviteur, afin qu’elle soit à toujours devant toi; car toi, Seigneur Éternel, tu as parlé; et que la maison de ton serviteur soit bénie de ta bénédiction pour toujours.
And now be willing and bless [the] house of servant your to be for ever before you for you O Lord Yahweh you have spoken and from blessing your it will be blessed [the] house of servant your for ever.
