2 Rois 9
1 Et Élisée, le prophète, appela un des fils des prophètes, et lui dit: Ceins tes reins, et prends cette fiole d’huile en ta main, et va-t’en à Ramoth de Galaad.
And Elisha the prophet he summoned one from [the] sons of the prophets and he said to him gird up loins your and take [the] flask of oil this in hand your and go Ramoth Gilead.
2 Et entre là, et vois-y Jéhu, fils de Josaphat, fils de Nimshi; et tu entreras, et tu le feras lever du milieu de ses frères, et tu le mèneras dans une chambre intérieure.
And you will go there towards and look for there Jehu [the] son of Jehoshaphat [the] son of Nimshi and you will go and you will make rise him from among brothers his and you will bring him a room in a room.
3 Et tu prendras la fiole d’huile, et tu la verseras sur sa tête, et tu diras: Ainsi dit l’Éternel: Je t’oins roi sur Israël. Et tu ouvriras la porte, et tu t’enfuiras, et tu n’attendras pas.
And you will take [the] flask of oil and you will pour [it] on head his and you will say thus he says Yahweh I anoint you to king to Israel and you will open the door and you will flee and not you must delay.
4 Et le jeune homme, le jeune prophète, s’en alla à Ramoth de Galaad.
And he went the young man the young man the prophet Ramoth Gilead.
5 Et il entra, et voici, les chefs de l’armée étaient assis; et il dit: Chef, j’ai une parole pour toi. Et Jéhu dit: Pour qui de nous tous? Et il dit: Pour toi, chef.
And he came and there! [the] commanders of the army [were] sitting and he said a word [belongs] to me to you O commander and he said Jehu to whom? from all of us and he said to you O commander.
6 Et [Jéhu] se leva, et entra dans la maison. Et [le jeune homme] versa l’huile sur sa tête, et lui dit: Ainsi dit l’Éternel, le Dieu d’Israël: Je t’oins roi sur le peuple de l’Éternel, sur Israël;
And he arose and he went the house towards and he poured the oil to head his and he said to him thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel I anoint you to king to [the] people of Yahweh to Israel.
7 et tu frapperas la maison d’Achab, ton seigneur; et je vengerai, de la main de Jézabel, le sang de mes serviteurs les prophètes et le sang de tous les serviteurs de l’Éternel.
And you will strike down [the] house of Ahab master your and I will avenge [the] blood of - servants my the prophets and [the] blood of all [the] servants of Yahweh from [the] hand of Jezebel.
8 Et toute la maison d’Achab périra; et je retrancherai à Achab tous les mâles, l’homme lié et l’homme libre en Israël;
And it will perish all [the] house of Ahab and I will cut off to Ahab [one who] urinates on a wall and shut up and freed in Israel.
9 et je rendrai la maison d’Achab semblable à la maison de Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, et à la maison de Baësha, fils d’Akhija;
And I will make [the] house of Ahab like [the] house of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat and like [the] house of Baasha [the] son of Ahijah.
10 et les chiens mangeront Jézabel dans le champ de Jizreël, et il n’y aura personne qui l’enterre. Et il ouvrit la porte et s’enfuit.
And Jezebel they will devour the dogs in [the] territory of Jezreel and there not [will be one who] buries [her] and he opened the door and he fled.
11 Et Jéhu sortit vers les serviteurs de son seigneur, et on lui dit: Tout va-t-il bien? Pourquoi ce fou est-il venu vers toi? Et il leur dit: Vous connaissez l’homme et sa pensée.
And Jehu he went out to [the] servants of master his and someone said to him ¿ peace why? did he come the mad [man] this to you and he said to them you you know the man and talk his.
12 Et ils dirent: Mensonge! Dis-le-nous donc. Et il dit: Il m’a parlé de telle et telle manière, disant: Ainsi dit l’Éternel: Je t’ai oint roi sur Israël.
And they said falsehood tell please to us and he said like this and like this he said to me saying thus he says Yahweh I anoint you to king to Israel.
13 Et ils se hâtèrent, et prirent chacun son vêtement, et les mirent sous lui sur les degrés mêmes; et ils sonnèrent de la trompette, et dirent: Jéhu est roi!
And they hurried and they took each garment his and they put [them] under him to [the] bone of the steps and they gave a blast on the trumpet and they said he is king Jehu.
14 Et Jéhu, fils de Josaphat, fils de Nimshi, conspira contre Joram. (Et Joram gardait Ramoth de Galaad, lui et tout Israël, à cause de Hazaël, roi de Syrie.
And he conspired Jehu [the] son of Jehoshaphat [the] son of Nimshi against Joram and Joram he had been watching at Ramoth Gilead he and all Israel from before Hazael [the] king of Aram.
15 Et le roi Joram s’en était retourné à Jizreël pour se faire guérir des blessures que les Syriens lui avaient faites lorsqu’il combattait contre Hazaël, roi de Syrie.) Et Jéhu dit: Si c’est votre pensée, que personne ne s’échappe de la ville et ne sorte pour aller raconter [la nouvelle] à Jizreël.
And he had returned Jehoram the king to get himself healed in Jezreel from the wounds which they wounded him [the] Arameans when fought he with Hazael [the] king of Aram and he said Jehu if there [is] mind your may not he go out an escapee from the city to go (to tell *Q(k)*) in Jezreel.
16 Et Jéhu monta en char, et s’en alla à Jizreël, car Joram y était alité; et Achazia, roi de Juda, était descendu pour voir Joram.
And he rode in a chariot Jehu and he went Jezreel towards for Joram [was] lying there and Ahaziah [the] king of Judah he had come down to see Joram.
17 Et la sentinelle se tenait sur la tour à Jizreël, et vit la troupe de Jéhu, comme il arrivait, et dit: Je vois une troupe [de gens]. Et Joram dit: Prends un cavalier, et envoie-le à leur rencontre, et qu’il dise: Est-ce la paix?
And the watchman [was] standing on the tower in Jezreel and he saw [the] crowd of Jehu when came he and he said a crowd I [am] seeing and he said Jehoram take a horseman and send [him] to meet them and he may say ¿ peace.
18 Et l’homme à cheval partit à sa rencontre, et dit: Ainsi a dit le roi: Est-ce la paix? Et Jéhu dit: Qu’as-tu à faire de la paix? Tourne, [et passe] derrière moi. Et la sentinelle annonça, disant: Le messager est venu jusqu’à eux, et il ne revient pas.
And he went [the] rider of the horse to meet him and he said thus he says the king ¿ peace and he said Jehu what? [is] to you and to peace go around to after me and he reported the watchman saying he came the messenger to they and not he has turned back.
19 Et il envoya un second homme à cheval; et il vint à eux, et dit: Ainsi dit le roi: Est-ce la paix? Et Jéhu dit: Qu’as-tu à faire de la paix? Tourne, [et passe] derrière moi.
And he sent a rider of a horse second and he came to them and he said thus he says the king peace and he said Jehu what? [is] to you and to peace go around to after me.
20 Et la sentinelle annonça, disant: Il est venu jusqu’à eux, et ne revient pas. Et la manière de conduire est celle de Jéhu, fils de Nimshi; car il conduit avec furie.
And he reported the watchman saying he came to to them and not he has turned back and the driving [is] like [the] driving of Jehu [the] son of Nimshi for with madness he drives.
21 Et Joram dit: Qu’on attelle. Et on attela son char. Et Joram, roi d’Israël, sortit, et Achazia, roi de Juda, chacun dans son char; et ils sortirent à la rencontre de Jéhu, et le trouvèrent dans le champ de Naboth, Jizreélite.
And he said Jehoram harness and someone harnessed chariot his and he went out Jehoram [the] king of Israel and Ahaziah [the] king of Judah each in chariot his and they went out to meet Jehu and they found him in [the] portion of land of Naboth the Jezreelite.
22 Et il arriva que, quand Joram vit Jéhu, il dit: Est-ce la paix, Jéhu? Et il dit: Quelle paix, … aussi longtemps que les prostitutions de Jézabel, ta mère, et ses enchantements sont en si grand nombre?
And it was when saw Jehoram Jehu and he said ¿ peace O Jehu and he said what? [is] peace until [the] prostitutions of Jezebel mother your and sorceries her many.
23 Et Joram tourna sa main, et s’enfuit, et dit à Achazia: Trahison, Achazia!
And he turned around Jehoram hands his and he fled and he said to Ahaziah treachery O Ahaziah.
24 Et Jéhu prit son arc en main, et frappa Joram entre les bras, et la flèche sortit au travers de son cœur; et il s’affaissa dans son char.
And Jehu he filled hand his with bow and he struck Jehoram between arms his and it came out the arrow from heart his and he sank down in chariot his.
25 Et [Jéhu] dit à Bidkar, son lieutenant: Prends-le, [et] jette-le dans la portion de champ de Naboth, le Jizreélite; car souviens-toi que, quand moi et toi, nous étions en char tous les deux, à la suite d’Achab, son père, l’Éternel prononça cet oracle contre lui:
And he said to Bidkar (officer his *Q(K)*) pick [him] up throw him in [the] portion of [the] field of Naboth the Jezreelite for remember I and you [were] riding pairs behind Ahab father his and Yahweh he lifted up on him the oracle this.
26 N’ai-je pas vu hier le sang de Naboth et le sang de ses fils, dit l’Éternel? et je te le rendrai dans ce champ-ci, dit l’Éternel. Et maintenant, prends-le [et] jette-le dans le champ, selon la parole de l’Éternel.
If not [the] blood of Naboth and [the] blood of sons his I saw yesterday [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will repay to you on the portion of land this [the] utterance of Yahweh and therefore pick [him] up throw him on the portion of land according to [the] word of Yahweh.
27 Et Achazia, roi de Juda, vit [cela], et s’enfuit par le chemin de la maison du jardin; et Jéhu le poursuivit, et dit: Frappez-le, lui aussi, sur le char. [Ils le frappèrent] à la montée de Gur, qui est près de Jibleam; et il s’enfuit à Meguiddo, et y mourut.
And Ahaziah [the] king of Judah he saw and he fled [the] direction Beth Haggan and he pursued after him Jehu and he said also him strike down him into the chariot at [the] ascent of Gur which [is] with Ibleam and he fled Megiddo and he died there.
28 Et ses serviteurs le transportèrent sur un char à Jérusalem, et l’enterrèrent dans son sépulcre, avec ses pères, dans la ville de David.
And they caused to ride him servants his Jerusalem towards and they buried him in grave his with ancestors his in [the] city of David.
29 Or la onzième année de Joram, fils d’Achab, Achazia avait commencé de régner sur Juda.
And in year one [plus] ten year of Joram [the] son of Ahab he had become king Ahaziah over Judah.
30 Et Jéhu vint à Jizreël; et Jézabel l’apprit, et mit du fard à ses yeux, et orna sa tête, et regarda par la fenêtre.
And he went Jehu Jezreel towards and Jezebel she heard and she set with eye-paint eyes her and she made good head her and she looked down through the window.
31 Et Jéhu entra dans la porte, et elle dit: Est-ce la paix, Zimri, assassin de son seigneur?
And Jehu he came in the gate and she said ¿ peace O Zimri [the] murderer of master his.
32 Et il leva sa face vers la fenêtre, et dit: Qui est pour moi? Qui? Et deux ou trois eunuques regardèrent vers lui.
And he lifted up face his to the window and he said who? [is] with me who? and they looked down to him two three court-officials.
33 Et il dit: Jetez-la en bas. Et ils la jetèrent, et il rejaillit de son sang contre la muraille et contre les chevaux; et il la foula aux pieds.
And he said (let fall her *Q(K)*) and they let fall her and it spattered some of blood her to the wall and to the horses and he trampled her.
34 Et il entra, et mangea et but; et il dit: Allez donc voir cette maudite, et enterrez-la, car elle est fille de roi.
And he went and he ate and he drank and he said attend to please the accursed [woman] this and bury her for [was] a daughter of a king she.
35 Et ils s’en allèrent pour l’enterrer, mais ils ne trouvèrent rien d’elle que le crâne, et les pieds, et les paumes des mains.
And they went to bury her and not they found in her that except the skull and the feet and [the] palms of the hands.
36 Et ils revinrent et le lui rapportèrent; et il dit: C’est la parole de l’Éternel, qu’il a dite par son serviteur Élie, le Thishbite, disant: Dans le champ de Jizreël, les chiens mangeront la chair de Jézabel;
And they returned and they told to him and he said [is] [the] word of Yahweh it which he spoke by [the] hand of servant his Elijah the Tishbite saying in [the] territory of Jezreel they will devour the dogs [the] flesh of Jezebel.
37 et le cadavre de Jézabel sera comme du fumier sur la face des champs, dans le champ de Jizreël, en sorte qu’on ne dira pas: C’est ici Jézabel.
(And it will be *Q(k)*) [the] corpse of Jezebel like dung on [the] surface of the field in [the] territory of Jezreel that not people will say this [is] Jezebel.
