2 Rois 20

1 En ces jours-là, Ézéchias fut malade à la mort; et Ésaïe, le prophète, fils d’Amots, vint vers lui, et lui dit: Ainsi dit l’Éternel: Donne des ordres pour ta maison, car tu vas mourir et tu ne vivras pas.

In the days those he became sick Hezekiah to die and he came to him Isaiah [the] son of Amoz the prophet and he said to him thus he says Yahweh command to household your that [are] about to die you and not you will live.

2 Et [Ézéchias] tourna sa face contre la muraille, et pria l’Éternel, disant:

And he turned around face his to the wall and he prayed to Yahweh saying.

3 Hélas, Éternel! souviens-toi, je te prie, que j’ai marché devant toi en vérité et avec un cœur parfait, et que j’ai fait ce qui est bon à tes yeux. Et Ézéchias versa beaucoup de larmes.

I beg you O Yahweh remember please this: I have walked about before you in faithfulness and with a heart complete and the good in view your I have done and he wept Hezekiah weeping great.

4 Et il arriva qu’Ésaïe, étant sorti, et n’étant pas encore arrivé au milieu de la ville, la parole de l’Éternel vint à lui, disant:

And it was Isaiah not he had gone out ([the] court *Q(K)*) middle and [the] word of Yahweh it came to him saying.

5 Retourne, et dis à Ézéchias, prince de mon peuple: Ainsi dit l’Éternel, Dieu de David, ton père: J’ai entendu ta prière, j’ai vu tes larmes; voici, je te guérirai; le troisième jour tu monteras à la maison de l’Éternel;

Go back and you will say to Hezekiah [the] ruler of people my thus he says Yahweh [the] God of David ancestor your I have heard prayer your I have seen tear[s] your here I [am] about to heal you on the day third you will go up [the] house of Yahweh.

6 et j’ajouterai 15 années à tes jours; et je te délivrerai, toi et cette ville, de la main du roi d’Assyrie, et je protégerai cette ville à cause de moi, et à cause de David, mon serviteur.

And I will add to days your fif-teen year[s] and from [the] hand of [the] king of Assyria I will deliver you and the city this and I will defend the city this for own sake my and for [the] sake of David servant my.

7 Et Ésaïe dit: Prenez une masse de figues. Et ils la prirent, et la mirent sur l’ulcère; et [Ézéchias] se rétablit.

And he said Isaiah take a cake of figs and people took [it] and they put [it] on the boil and he lived.

8 Et Ézéchias dit à Ésaïe: Quel est le signe que l’Éternel me guérira et que le troisième jour je monterai à la maison de l’Éternel?

And he said Hezekiah to Isaiah what? [will be] a sign that he will heal Yahweh me and I will go up on the day third [the] house of Yahweh.

9 Et Ésaïe dit: Ceci en sera le signe pour toi de par l’Éternel, car l’Éternel accomplira la parole qu’il a prononcée: l’ombre avancera-t-elle de dix degrés, ou retournera-t-elle de dix degrés?

And he said Isaiah this for you [will be] the sign from with Yahweh that he will do Yahweh the thing which he has spoken it has gone the shadow ten steps or? will it go back ten steps.

10 Et Ézéchias dit: C’est peu de chose que l’ombre descende de dix degrés: non, mais que l’ombre retourne de dix degrés en arrière.

And he said Hezekiah it is trifling to the shadow to stretch out ten steps In-deed let it go back the shadow backwards ten steps.

11 Et Ésaïe, le prophète, cria à l’Éternel; et [l’Éternel] fit retourner l’ombre de dix degrés en arrière sur les degrés par lesquels elle était descendue sur le cadran d’Achaz.

And he called out Isaiah the prophet to Yahweh and he turned back the shadow on the steps which it had gone down on [the] steps of Ahaz backwards ten steps.

12 En ce temps-là, Berodac-Baladan, fils de Baladan, roi de Babylone, envoya une lettre et un présent à Ézéchias, car il avait appris qu’Ézéchias avait été malade.

At the time that he sent Merodach-Baladan [the] son of Baladan [the] king of Babylon letters and a gift to Hezekiah for he had heard that he had been sick Hezekiah.

13 Et Ézéchias écouta les [messagers], et leur montra toute la maison [où étaient renfermés] ses objets précieux, l’argent et l’or, et les aromates et l’huile fine, et tout son arsenal, et tout ce qui se trouvait dans ses trésors; il n’y eut rien qu’Ézéchias ne leur montrât dans sa maison et dans tous ses domaines.

And he listened to them Hezekiah and he showed them all [the] house of (treasure his *Q(K)*) the silver and the gold and the spices and - [the] oil of the good and [the] house of weapons his and all that it was found in storehouses his not it was anything which not he showed them Hezekiah in house his and in all realm his.

14 Et Ésaïe, le prophète, vint vers le roi Ézéchias, et lui dit: Qu’ont dit ces hommes, et d’où sont-ils venus vers toi? Et Ézéchias dit: Ils sont venus d’un pays éloigné, de Babylone.

And he came Isaiah the prophet to the king Hezekiah and he said to him what? did they say - the men these and from where? are they coming to you and he said Hezekiah from a land distant they came from Babylon.

15 Et [Ésaïe] dit: Qu’ont-ils vu dans ta maison? Et Ézéchias dit: Ils ont vu tout ce qui est dans ma maison; il n’y a rien dans mes trésors que je ne leur aie montré.

And he said what? did they see in house your and he said Hezekiah all that [is] in house my they saw not it was anything which not I showed them in storehouses my.

16 Et Ésaïe dit à Ézéchias: Écoute la parole de l’Éternel:

And he said Isaiah to Hezekiah hear [the] word of Yahweh.

17 Voici, des jours viennent où tout ce qui est dans ta maison, et ce que tes pères ont amassé jusqu’à ce jour, sera porté à Babylone; il n’en restera rien, dit l’Éternel.

Here! days [are] coming and it will be carried off - all that [is] in house your and [that] which they have stored up ancestors your until the day this Babylon towards not it will be left behind anything he says Yahweh.

18 Et on prendra de tes fils, qui sortiront de toi, que tu auras engendrés, et ils seront eunuques dans le palais du roi de Babylone.

And some of descendants your who they will come forth from you whom you will father (people will take away *Q(K)*) and they will be eunuchs in [the] palace of [the] king of Babylon.

19 Et Ézéchias dit à Ésaïe: La parole de l’Éternel que tu as prononcée est bonne. Et il dit: N’y aura-t-il pas ainsi paix et stabilité pendant mes jours?

And he said Hezekiah to Isaiah [is] good [the] word of Yahweh which you have spoken and he said ¿ not if peace and stability it will be in days my.

20 Et le reste des actes d’Ézéchias, et toute sa puissance, et comment il fit l’étang et l’aqueduc, et amena les eaux dans la ville, cela n’est-il pas écrit dans le livre des chroniques des rois de Juda?

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Hezekiah and all might his and which he made the pool and the conduit and he brought the waters the city towards ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.

21 Et Ézéchias s’endormit avec ses pères; et Manassé, son fils, régna à sa place.

And he lay down Hezekiah with ancestors his and he became king Manasseh son his in place of him.
