1 Samuel 6
1 Et l’arche de l’Éternel fut sept mois dans le pays des Philistins;
And it was [the] ark of Yahweh in [the] region of [the] Philistines seven months.
2 et les Philistins appelèrent les sacrificateurs et les devins, disant: Que ferons-nous de l’arche de l’Éternel? Faites-nous savoir comment nous la renverrons en son lieu.
And they summoned [the] Philistines the priests and the diviners saying what? will we do to [the] ark of Yahweh make known to us how? will we send it to own place its.
3 Et ils dirent: Si vous renvoyez l’arche du dieu d’Israël, ne la renvoyez pas à vide; ne manquez pas de lui rendre un sacrifice pour le délit; alors vous serez guéris, et vous saurez pourquoi sa main ne s’est pas retirée de vous.
And they said if [you are] about to send away [the] ark of [the] God of Israel may not you send away it empty for certainly you will send back to him a guilt offering then you will be healed and it will be known by you why? not does it turn aside hand his from you.
4 Et ils dirent: Quel est le sacrifice pour le délit que nous lui rendrons? Et ils dirent: Selon le nombre des princes des Philistins, cinq hémorroïdes d’or, et cinq souris d’or; car une même plaie a été sur vous tous et sur vos princes.
And they said what? [is] the guilt offering which we will send back to him and they said [the] number of [the] rulers of [the] Philistines five (tumors of *Q(K)*) gold and five mice of gold for a plague one [belongs] to all of them and to rulers your.
5 Et vous ferez des figures de vos hémorroïdes, et des figures de vos souris qui détruisent le pays, et vous donnerez gloire au dieu d’Israël. Peut-être allégera-t-il sa main de dessus vous, et de dessus vos dieux, et de dessus votre pays.
And you will make images of (tumors your *Q(K)*) and images of mice your which are ruining the land and you will give to [the] God of Israel honor perhaps he will lighten hand his from with you and from on gods your and from on land your.
6 Et pourquoi endurciriez-vous votre cœur, comme les Égyptiens et le Pharaon ont endurci leur cœur? Après qu’il eut opéré puissamment parmi eux, ne les laissèrent-ils pas aller? et ils s’en allèrent.
And why? will you harden heart your just as they hardened Egypt and Pharaoh heart their ¿ not just when he dealt wantonly with them and they sent away them and they went.
7 Et maintenant, faites un chariot neuf, et prenez deux vaches qui allaitent, sur lesquelles le joug n’ait jamais été mis, et attelez les vaches au chariot, et faites ramener à la maison leurs petits d’auprès d’elles.
And therefore take and make a cart new one and two cows nursing which not it has gone up on them a yoke and you will harness the cows on the cart and you will take back young ones their from after them the house towards.
8 Et prenez l’arche de l’Éternel, et mettez-la sur le chariot, et mettez dans un coffret, à côté d’elle, les objets d’or que vous lui rendez comme offrande pour le délit; et vous la renverrez, et elle s’en ira.
And you will take [the] ark of Yahweh and you will put it into the cart and - [the] articles of gold which you have sent back to him a guilt offering you will put in the box from side its and you will send away it and it will go.
9 Et vous verrez: si elle monte par le chemin de sa frontière, vers Beth-Shémesh, c’est lui qui nous a fait ce grand mal; sinon, nous saurons que ce n’est pas sa main qui nous a frappés, [mais] que c’est une chose accidentelle qui nous est arrivée.
And you will see if [the] way of own territory its it will go up Beth Shemesh he he has done to us the harm great this and if not and we will know that not hand his it touched us chance it it happened to us.
10 Et les hommes firent ainsi, et prirent deux vaches qui allaitaient, et les attelèrent au chariot, et enfermèrent leurs petits dans la maison;
And they did the men thus and they took two cows nursing and they harnessed them on the cart and young ones their they shut up in the house.
11 et ils mirent l’arche de l’Éternel sur le chariot, et le coffret, avec les souris d’or et les figures de leurs hémorroïdes.
And they put [the] ark of Yahweh into the cart and the box and [the] mice of gold and [the] images of tumors their.
12 Et les vaches allèrent tout droit par le chemin, du côté de Beth-Shémesh; elles marchèrent par une seule route, allant et mugissant, et elles ne se détournèrent ni à droite ni à gauche; et les princes des Philistins allèrent après elles jusqu’à la frontière de Beth-Shémesh.
And they were straight the cows in the road on [the] road of Beth Shemesh on a highway one they went continuously and lowed and not they turned aside right [hand] and left [hand] and [the] rulers of [the] Philistines [were] going after them to [the] border of Beth Shemesh.
13 Et ceux de Beth-Shémesh moissonnaient les froments dans la vallée; et ils levèrent leurs yeux et virent l’arche, et se réjouirent en la voyant.
And Beth Shemesh [were] harvesting [the] harvest of wheat in the valley and they lifted up eyes their and they saw the ark and they rejoiced to see [it].
14 Et le chariot vint au champ de Josué, le Beth-Shémite, et s’arrêta là. Et il y avait là une grande pierre; et ils fendirent le bois du chariot, et offrirent les vaches en holocauste à l’Éternel.
And the cart it came to [the] field of Joshua [the] Beth Shemeshite and it stopped there and [was] there a stone large and they split [the] wood of the cart and the cows they offered up a burnt offering to Yahweh.
15 Et les Lévites descendirent l’arche de l’Éternel, et le coffret qui était auprès, dans lequel étaient les objets d’or, et ils les mirent sur la grande pierre. Et les hommes de Beth-Shémesh offrirent en ce jour des holocaustes et sacrifièrent des sacrifices à l’Éternel.
And the Levites they brought down - [the] ark of Yahweh and the box which [was] with it which [were] in it [the] articles of gold and they put [them] to the stone large and [the] people of Beth Shemesh they offered up burnt offerings and they sacrificed sacrifices on the day that to Yahweh.
16 Et les cinq princes des Philistins virent cela, et s’en retournèrent à Ékron ce jour-là.
And five [the] rulers of [the] Philistines they saw and they went back Ekron on the day that.
17 Et ce sont ici les hémorroïdes d’or que les Philistins rendirent à l’Éternel comme offrande pour le délit: pour Asdod une, pour Gaza une, pour Askalon une, pour Gath une, pour Ékron une;
And these [are] [the] tumors of gold which they sent back [the] Philistines a guilt offering to Yahweh for Ashdod one for Gaza one for Ashkelon one for Gath one for Ekron one.
18 et les souris d’or, selon le nombre de toutes les villes des Philistins, des cinq princes, depuis les villes fortifiées jusqu’aux villages des campagnards; et [ils les amenèrent] jusqu’à la grande [pierre d’]Abel, sur laquelle ils posèrent l’arche de l’Éternel; elle est jusqu’à ce jour dans le champ de Josué, le Beth-Shémite.
And [the] mice of gold [the] number of all [the] cities of [the] Philistines of [the] five the rulers from a city of fortification and unto village[s] of the hamlet-dweller[s] and to - Abel the great which they set down on it [the] ark of Yahweh until the day this in [the] field of Joshua [the] Beth Shemeshite.
19 Et [l’Éternel] frappa des hommes de Beth-Shémesh, car ils regardèrent dans l’arche de l’Éternel; et il frappa du peuple 70 hommes; et le peuple mena deuil, parce que l’Éternel avait frappé le peuple d’un grand coup.
And he struck down among [the] people of Beth Shemesh for they had looked in [the] ark of Yahweh and he struck down among the people seventy man fifty thousand man and they mourned the people for he had struck Yahweh the people a blow (great *LB(ah)*)
20 Et les hommes de Beth-Shémesh dirent: Qui peut tenir devant l’Éternel, ce Dieu saint? Et vers qui montera-t-il de chez nous?
and they said [the] people of Beth Shemesh who? is he able to stand before Yahweh the God holy this and to whom? will it go up from with us.
21 Et ils envoyèrent des messagers aux habitants de Kiriath-Jéarim, disant: Les Philistins ont ramené l’arche de l’Éternel: descendez, faites-la monter vers vous.
And they sent messengers to [the] inhabitants of Kiriath Jearim saying they have brought back [the] Philistines [the] ark of Yahweh come down take up it to you.
