1 Rois 22
1 Et on resta trois ans sans qu’il y ait guerre entre la Syrie et Israël.
And they remained three years there not [was] war between Aram and between Israel.
2 Et il arriva, en la troisième année, que Josaphat, roi de Juda, descendit vers le roi d’Israël.
And it was in the year third and he went down Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah to [the] king of Israel.
3 Et le roi d’Israël dit à ses serviteurs: Savez-vous que Ramoth de Galaad est à nous? Et nous nous taisons, sans la reprendre de la main du roi de Syrie!
And he said [the] king of Israel to servants his ¿ do you know that [belongs] to us Ramoth Gilead and we [are] inactive from taking it from [the] hand of [the] king of Aram.
4 Et il dit à Josaphat: Viendras-tu avec moi à la guerre, à Ramoth de Galaad? Et Josaphat dit au roi d’Israël: Moi, je suis comme toi, mon peuple comme ton peuple, mes chevaux comme tes chevaux.
And he said to Jehoshaphat ¿ will you go with me for battle Ramoth Gilead and he said Jehoshaphat to [the] king of Israel as me as you as people my as people your as horses my as horses your.
5 Et Josaphat dit au roi d’Israël: Enquiers-toi aujourd’hui, je te prie, de la parole de l’Éternel.
And he said Jehoshaphat to [the] king of Israel seek please as the day [the] word of Yahweh.
6 Et le roi d’Israël rassembla les prophètes, environ 400 hommes, et leur dit: Irai-je à la guerre contre Ramoth de Galaad, ou m’en abstiendrai-je? Et ils dirent: Monte; et le Seigneur la livrera en la main du roi.
And he gathered [the] king of Israel the prophets about four hundred man and he said to them ¿ will I go on Ramoth Gilead for battle or? will I refrain and they said go up so he may give [it] [the] Lord in [the] hand of the king.
7 Et Josaphat dit: N’y a-t-il pas ici encore un prophète de l’Éternel, pour que nous nous enquérions auprès de lui?
And he said Jehoshaphat ¿ [is] there not here a prophet of Yahweh still so we may enquire from him.
8 Et le roi d’Israël dit à Josaphat: Il y a encore un homme, pour consulter l’Éternel par lui; mais je le hais, car il ne prophétise pas du bien à mon égard, mais du mal; c’est Michée, fils de Jimla. Et Josaphat dit: Que le roi ne parle pas ainsi!
And he said [the] king of Israel - to Jehoshaphat still a man one to consult Yahweh from him and I I hate him for not he prophesies on me good that except evil Micaiah [the] son of Imlah and he said Jehoshaphat may not he speak the king thus.
9 Et le roi d’Israël appela un eunuque, et dit: Fais promptement venir Michée, fils de Jimla.
And he summoned [the] king of Israel a court-official one and he said bring quickly! Micaiah [the] son of Imlah.
10 Et le roi d’Israël et Josaphat, roi de Juda, étaient assis chacun sur son trône, revêtus de leurs robes, sur une place ouverte, à l’entrée de la porte de Samarie; et tous les prophètes prophétisaient devant eux.
And [the] king of Israel and Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah [were] sitting each on throne his clothed garments at [the] threshing floor [the] entrance of [the] gate of Samaria and all the prophets [were] prophesying before them.
11 Et Sédécias, fils de Kenaana, se fit des cornes de fer, et dit: Ainsi dit l’Éternel: Avec celles-ci tu heurteras les Syriens, jusqu’à les exterminer.
And he made for himself Zedekiah [the] son of Kenaanah horns of iron and he said thus he says Yahweh with these you will gore Aram until destroy them.
12 Et tous les prophètes prophétisaient de même, disant: Monte à Ramoth de Galaad, et prospère; et l’Éternel la livrera en la main du roi.
And all the prophets [were] prophesying thus saying go up Ramoth Gilead and succeed and he will give [it] Yahweh in [the] hand of the king.
13 Et le messager qui était allé pour appeler Michée, lui parla, disant: Voici, les paroles des prophètes, d’une seule bouche, [annoncent] du bien au roi; que ta parole soit, je te prie, comme la parole de l’un d’eux, et annonce du bien.
And the messenger who he had gone - to summon Micaiah he spoke to him saying here! please [the] words of the prophets a mouth one [is] good to the king let it be please (word your *Q(K)*) like [the] word of one from them and you will speak good.
14 Mais Michée dit: L’Éternel est vivant, que ce que l’Éternel me dira, je l’annoncerai.
And he said Micaiah [by] [the] life of Yahweh for [that] which he will say Yahweh to me it I will speak.
15 Et il vint vers le roi. Et le roi lui dit: Michée, irons-nous à la guerre à Ramoth de Galaad, ou nous en abstiendrons-nous? Et il lui dit: Monte et prospère; et l’Éternel la livrera en la main du roi.
And he came to the king and he said the king to him O Micaiah ¿ will we go against Ramoth Gilead for battle or? will we refrain and he said to him go up and succeed and he will give [it] Yahweh in [the] hand of the king.
16 Et le roi lui dit: Combien de fois t’adjurerai-je de ne me dire que la vérité au nom de l’Éternel?
And he said to him the king until how many? times [will] I make swear you that not you must speak to me only truth in [the] name of Yahweh.
17 Et [Michée] dit: J’ai vu tout Israël dispersé sur les montagnes, comme un troupeau qui n’a pas de berger; et l’Éternel a dit: Ceux-ci n’ont pas de seigneur; qu’ils s’en retournent en paix chacun à sa maison.
And he said I saw all Israel scattered to the mountains like flock which not [belongs] to them a shepherd and he said Yahweh not masters [belong] to these let them return each to house his in peace.
18 Et le roi d’Israël dit à Josaphat: Ne t’ai-je pas dit qu’il ne prophétise pas du bien à mon égard, mais du mal?
And he said [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat ¿ not did I say to you not he prophesies on me good that except evil.
19 Et [Michée] dit: C’est pourquoi, écoute la parole de l’Éternel. J’ai vu l’Éternel assis sur son trône, et toute l’armée des cieux se tenant près de lui, à sa droite et à sa gauche;
And he said therefore hear [the] word of Yahweh I saw Yahweh sitting on throne his and all [the] host of the heavens [was] standing at him from right his and from left his.
20 et l’Éternel dit: Qui persuadera Achab, afin qu’il monte et qu’il tombe à Ramoth de Galaad? Et celui-ci dit ainsi, et celui-là dit ainsi.
And he said Yahweh who? will he deceive Ahab so he may go up and he may fall at Ramoth Gilead and it said this [one] by thus and this [one] [was] saying by thus.
21 Et un esprit sortit, et se tint devant l’Éternel, et dit: Moi, je le persuaderai. Et l’Éternel lui dit: Comment?
And it came forth the spirit and it stood before Yahweh and it said I I will deceive him
22 Et il dit: Je sortirai, et je serai un esprit de mensonge dans la bouche de tous ses prophètes. Et [l’Éternel] dit: Tu le persuaderas, et aussi tu réussiras: sors, et fais ainsi.
and he said Yahweh to it how? And it said I will go out and I will be a spirit of falsehood in [the] mouth of all prophets his and he said you will deceive and also you will prevail go out and do thus.
23 Et maintenant, voici, l’Éternel a mis un esprit de mensonge dans la bouche de tous tes prophètes que voilà, et l’Éternel a prononcé du mal à ton sujet.
And therefore here! he has put Yahweh a spirit of falsehood in [the] mouth of all prophets your these and Yahweh he has spoken on you evil.
24 Et Sédécias, fils de Kenaana, s’approcha et frappa Michée sur la joue, et dit: Par où a passé l’Esprit de l’Éternel, d’avec moi, pour te parler?
And he drew near Zedekiah [the] son of Kenaanah and he struck Micaiah on the cheek and he said where? this did it pass on [the] spirit of Yahweh from with me to speak with you.
25 Et Michée dit: Voici, tu le verras ce jour-là, quand tu iras de chambre en chambre pour te cacher.
And he said Micaiah there you [are] about to see on the day that when you will go a room in a room to hide yourself.
26 Et le roi d’Israël dit: Prends Michée, et emmène-le à Amon, chef de la ville, et à Joas, fils du roi;
And he said [the] king of Israel take Micaiah and take back him to Amon [the] official of the city and to Joash [the] son of the king.
27 et tu diras: Ainsi dit le roi: Mettez cet [homme] en prison, et donnez-lui à manger le pain d’affliction et l’eau d’affliction, jusqu’à ce que je revienne en paix.
And you will say thus he says the king put this [one] [the] house of imprisonment and feed him bread oppression and water oppression until come I in peace.
28 Et Michée dit: Si jamais tu reviens en paix, l’Éternel n’a point parlé par moi. Et il dit: Peuples, entendez-le tous!
And he said Micaiah certainly [if] you will return in peace not he has spoken Yahweh by me and he said listen O peoples all of them.
29 Et le roi d’Israël monta, et Josaphat, roi de Juda, à Ramoth de Galaad.
And he went up [the] king of Israel and Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah Ramoth Gilead.
30 Et le roi d’Israël dit à Josaphat: Je me déguiserai, et j’irai à la bataille; mais toi, revêts-toi de tes robes. Et le roi d’Israël se déguisa et fut à la bataille.
And he said [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat I will disguise myself and I will go in the battle and you wear own clothes your and he disguised himself [the] king of Israel and he went in the battle.
31 Et le roi de Syrie commanda aux 32 chefs de ses chars, disant: Ne combattez ni contre petit ni contre grand, mais contre le roi d’Israël seul.
And king of Aram he had commanded [the] commanders of the chariotry which [belonged] to him thirty and two saying not you must do battle with [the] small and with [the] great that except with [the] king of Israel to only him.
32 Et il arriva que, quand les chefs des chars virent Josaphat, ils dirent: Certainement c’est le roi d’Israël. Et ils se détournèrent, pour combattre contre lui; et Josaphat cria.
And it was when saw [the] commanders of the chariotry Jehoshaphat and they they said surely [is] [the] king of Israel he and they turned aside on him to do battle and he cried out Jehoshaphat.
33 Et il arriva que, lorsque les chefs des chars virent que ce n’était pas le roi d’Israël, ils s’en revinrent de sa poursuite.
And it was when saw [the] commanders of the chariotry that not [was] [the] king of Israel he and they turned back from after him.
34 Et un homme tira de l’arc à l’aventure et frappa le roi d’Israël entre les pièces d’attache et la cuirasse; et [Achab] dit au conducteur de son char: Tourne ta main, et mène-moi hors de l’armée, car je suis blessé.
And someone he drew on the bow to innocence his and he struck [the] king of Israel between the joints and between the body armor and he said to charioteer his turn around hand your and take out me from the camp for I have been wounded.
35 Et la bataille se renforça ce jour-là, et le roi fut soutenu debout sur [son] char, vis-à-vis des Syriens; et il mourut le soir; et le sang de la blessure coulait dans le fond du char.
And it went up the battle on the day that and the king he was placed in the chariot opposite to Aram and he died in the evening and it flowed [the] blood of the wound into [the] bottom of the chariot.
36 Et une proclamation passa par le camp, au coucher du soleil, disant: Chacun à sa ville, et chacun à son pays!
And it passed the cry in the camp when went the sun saying everyone to city his and everyone to land his.
37 Et le roi mourut, et on l’amena à Samarie; et on enterra le roi à Samarie.
And he died the king and he came Samaria and people buried the king in Samaria.
38 Et on lava le char à l’étang de Samarie, et les chiens léchèrent le sang d’Achab, là où les prostituées se lavaient, selon la parole de l’Éternel qu’il avait prononcée.
And someone washed off the chariot at - [the] pool of Samaria and they licked up the dogs blood his and the prostitutes they bathed according to [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken.
39 Et le reste des actes d’Achab, et tout ce qu’il fit, et la maison d’ivoire qu’il bâtit, et toutes les villes qu’il bâtit: ces choses ne sont-elles pas écrites dans le livre des chroniques des rois d’Israël?
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Ahab and all that he did and [the] house of ivory which he built and all the cities which he built ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
40 Et Achab s’endormit avec ses pères; et Achazia, son fils, régna à sa place.
And he lay down Ahab with ancestors his and he became king Ahaziah son his in place of him.
41 Et Josaphat, fils d’Asa, commença de régner sur Juda, la quatrième année d’Achab, roi d’Israël.
And Jehoshaphat [the] son of Asa he became king over Judah in year four of Ahab [the] king of Israel.
42 Josaphat était âgé de 35 ans, lorsqu’il commença de régner, et il régna 25 ans à Jérusalem; et le nom de sa mère était Azuba, fille de Shilkhi.
Jehoshaphat [was] a son of thirty and five year[s] when became king he and twenty and five year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Azubah [the] daughter of Shilhi.
43 Et il marcha dans toute la voie d’Asa, son père; il ne s’en détourna pas, faisant ce qui est droit aux yeux de l’Éternel. Seulement, les hauts lieux ne furent pas ôtés: le peuple sacrifiait encore et faisait fumer de l’encens sur les hauts lieux.
And he walked in all [the] way of Asa father his not he turned aside from it to do the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh. Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and making smoke at the high places.
44 Et Josaphat fut en paix avec le roi d’Israël.
And he made peace Jehoshaphat with [the] king of Israel.
45 Et le reste des actes de Josaphat, et la puissance qu’il montra, et les guerres qu’il fit, cela n’est-il pas écrit dans le livre des chroniques des rois de Juda?
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehoshaphat and might his which he did and which he waged war ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
46 Et il extermina du pays le reste des hommes voués à la prostitution, qui étaient restés dans les jours d’Asa, son père.
And [the] rest of the cult prostitute[s] which it remained in [the] days of Asa father his he destroyed from the land.
47 Et il n’y avait pas de roi en Édom; un gouverneur y régnait.
And [was] a king there not in Edom a deputy [was] king.
48 Josaphat construisit des navires de Tarsis pour aller à Ophir chercher de l’or; mais ils n’allèrent pas, car les navires furent brisés à Étsion-Guéber.
Jehoshaphat (he made *Q(K)*) ships of Tarshish to go Ophir towards for gold and not it went for (they were broken *Q(K)*) [the] ships at Ezion Geber.
49 Alors Achazia, fils d’Achab, dit à Josaphat: Que mes serviteurs aillent avec tes serviteurs dans les navires; et Josaphat ne le voulut pas.
Then he said Ahaziah [the] son of Ahab to Jehoshaphat let them go servants my with servants your in [the] ships and not he was willing Jehoshaphat.
50 Et Josaphat s’endormit avec ses pères, et il fut enterré avec ses pères dans la ville de David, son père; et Joram, son fils, régna à sa place.
And he lay down Jehoshaphat with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Jehoram son his in place of him.
51 Achazia, fils d’Achab, commença de régner sur Israël, à Samarie, la dix-septième année de Josaphat, roi de Juda; et il régna sur Israël deux ans.
Ahaziah [the] son of Ahab he became king over Israel in Samaria in year seven-teen of Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah and he reigned over Israel two years.
52 Et il fit ce qui est mauvais aux yeux de l’Éternel, et il marcha dans la voie de son père, et dans la voie de sa mère, et dans la voie de Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, qui fit pécher Israël.
And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he walked in [the] way of father his and in [the] way of mother his and in [the] way of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat who he caused to sin Israel.
53 Et il servit Baal, et se prosterna devant lui, et provoqua à colère l’Éternel, le Dieu d’Israël, selon tout ce que son père avait fait.
And he served Baal and he bowed down to it and he provoked to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel according to all that he had done father his.
