These were the kings who reigned over Edom before any Israelite king reigned over them: Bela son of Beor, the name of whose city was Dinhabah.

When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah took over as king.
45 – Et Jobab mourut; et Husham, du pays des Thémanites, régna à sa place.
When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites took over as king.
46 – Et Husham mourut; et à sa place régna Hadad, fils de Bedad, qui frappa Madian dans les champs de Moab; et le nom de sa ville était Avith.
When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad, took over as king. He was the one who defeated Midian in the country of Moab. The name of his city was Avith.
47 – Et Hadad mourut; et Samla, de Masréka, régna à sa place.
When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah took over as king.
48 – Et Samla mourut; et Saül, de Rehoboth sur le fleuve, régna à sa place.
When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the River took over as king.

When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan, son of Acbor, took over as king.
50 – Et Baal-Hanan mourut; et Hadad régna à sa place; et le nom de sa ville était Pahi; et le nom de sa femme, Mehétabeël, fille de Matred, fille de Mézahab.
When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad took over as king. The name of his city was Pau. The name of his wife was Mehetabel, daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-Zahab.
51 Et Hadad mourut. Et il y eut des chefs d’Édom: le chef Thimna, le chef Alia, le chef Jetheth,
Then Hadad died. The chiefs of Edom were: Timna, Alvah, Jetheth,
