Apocalypse 5
1 Puis je vis dans la main droite de Celui qui était assis sur le trône un livre écrit en dedans et en dehors, et scellé de sept sceaux.
And I saw on the right hand of Him that sat on the throne a book written within and without, sealed with seven seals:
2 Et je vis un ange puissant qui criait d’une voix forte: « Qui est digne d’ouvrir le livre et d’en rompre les sceaux? »
and I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book and to loose the seals of it?
3 Et personne ni dans le ciel, ni sur la terre, ne pouvait ouvrir le livre ni le regarder.
And no one in heaven, nor on earth, nor under the earth, was able to open the book, or to look into it:
4 Et moi je pleurais beaucoup de ce qu’il ne se trouvait personne qui fût digne d’ouvrir le livre, ni de le regarder.
and I wept much because no one was found worthy to open and read the book, nor to look into it.
5 Alors un des vieillards me dit: « Ne pleure point; voici que le lion de la tribu de Juda, le rejeton de David, a vaincu, de manière à pouvoir ouvrir le livre et ses sept sceaux. »
And one of the elders said to me, Weep not; ---Behold the lion of the tribe of Juda, the root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose its seven seals.
6 Et je vis, et voici qu’au milieu du trône et des quatre animaux, et au milieu des vieillards, un Agneau était debout: il semblait avoir été immolé; il avait sept cornes et sept yeux, qui sont les sept Esprits de Dieu envoyés par toute la terre.
And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne, and of the four animals, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb, as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.
7 Il vint, et reçut le livre de la main droite de Celui qui était assis sur le trône.
And He came and took the book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne.
8 Quand il eut reçu le livre, les quatre animaux et les vingt-quatre vieillards se prosternèrent devant l’Agneau, tenant chacun une harpe et des coupes d’or pleines de parfums, qui sont les prières des saints.
And when He had taken the book, the four animals, and the twenty four elders, fell down before the Lamb, having every one harps and golden vials full of perfumes, which are the prayers of the saints.
9 Et ils chantaient un cantique nouveau, en disant: « Vous êtes digne de recevoir le livre et d’en ouvrir les sceaux; car vous avez été immolé et vous avez racheté pour Dieu, par votre sang, des hommes de toute tribu, de toute langue, de tout peuple et de toute nation;
And they sung a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open its seals; for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 et vous les avez faits rois et prêtres, et ils régneront sur la terre. »
and hast made us to our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
11 Puis je vis, et j’entendis autour du trône, autour des animaux et des vieillards, la voix d’une multitude d’anges, et leur nombre était des myriades et des milliers de milliers.
And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round the throne and the animals and the elders: and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands;
12 Ils disaient d’une voix forte: « L’Agneau qui a été immolé est digne de recevoir la puissance, la richesse, la sagesse, la force, l’honneur, la gloire et la bénédiction. »
saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.
13 Et toutes les créatures qui sont dans le ciel, sur la terre, sous la terre et dans la mer, et toutes les choses qui s’y trouvent, je les entendis qui disaient: « À Celui qui est assis sur le trône et à l’Agneau, louange, honneur, gloire et puissance dans les siècles des siècles! » (aiōn g165)
And I heard every creature in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all that are in them, saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb, for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)
14 Et les quatre animaux disaient: « Amen! » Et les vieillards se prosternèrent et adorèrent [Celui qui vit aux siècles des siècles].
And the four animals said, Amen: and the twenty four elders fell down and worshipped Him that liveth to endless ages.
