Psaumes 26

1 De David. Rends-moi justice, Yahweh, car j'ai marché dans mon innocence; je me confie en Yahweh, je ne chancellerai pas.

[A Psalm] of David. Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in my integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; [therefore] I shall not slide.

2 Eprouve-moi, Yahweh, sonde-moi, fais passer au creuset mes reins et mon cœur:

Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

3 car ta miséricorde est devant mes yeux, et je marche dans ta vérité.

For thy loving-kindness [is] before my eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.

4 Je ne me suis pas assis avec les hommes de mensonge, je ne vais pas avec les hommes dissimulés;

I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.

5 Je hais l'assemblée de ceux qui font le mal, je ne siège pas avec les méchants.

I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

6 Je lave mes mains dans l'innocence, et j'entoure ton autel, Yahweh,

I will wash my hands in innocence: so will I compass thy altar, O LORD:

7 pour faire entendre une voix de louange; et raconter toutes tes merveilles.

That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.

8 Yahweh, j'aime le séjour de ta maison, le lieu où ta gloire réside.

LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thy honor dwelleth.

9 N'enlève pas mon âme avec celle des pécheurs, ma vie avec celle des hommes de sang,

Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:

10 qui ont le crime dans les mains, et dont la droite est pleine de présents.

In whose hands [is] mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.

11 Pour moi, je marche en mon innocence: délivre-moi et aie pitié de moi!

But as for me, I will walk in my integrity: redeem me, and be merciful to me.

12 Mon pied se tient sur un sol uni: je bénirai Yahweh dans les assemblées.

My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.
