Psaumes 19
1 Au maître de chant. Chant de David. Les cieux racontent la gloire de Dieu, et le firmament annonce l’œuvre de ses mains.
To the choirmaster a psalm of David. The heavens [are] recounting [the] glory of God and [the] work of hands his [is] telling the firmament.
2 Le jour crie au jour la louange, la nuit l’apprend à la nuit.
Day to day it pours forth speech and night to night it shows forth knowledge.
3 Ce n’est pas un langage, ce ne sont pas des paroles; dont la voix ne soit pas entendue.
There not [is] speech and there not [are] words not [is] heard voice their.
4 Leur son parcourt toute la terre, leurs accents vont jusqu’aux extrémités du monde. C’est là qu’il a dressé une tente pour le soleil.
In all the earth - it has gone out line their and at [the] end of [the] world words their for the sun he has put a tent in them.
5 Et lui, semblable à l’époux qui sort de la chambre nuptiale, s’élance joyeux, comme un héros, pour fournir sa carrière.
And it [is] like a bridegroom going forth from chamber his it rejoices like a mighty [man] to run a path.
6 Il part d’une extrémité du ciel, et sa course s’achève à l’autre extrémité: rien ne se dérobe à sa chaleur.
[is] from [the] end of The heavens - going forth its and circuit its [is] to ends their and there not [is a thing] hidden from heat its.
7 La loi de Yahweh est parfaite: elle restaure l’âme. Le témoignage de Yahweh est sur: il donne la sagesse aux simples.
[the] instruction of Yahweh [is] perfect restoring life [the] testimony of Yahweh [is] reliable making wise a simple person.
8 Les ordonnances de Yahweh sont droites: elles réjouissent les cœurs. Le précepte de Yahweh est pur: il éclaire les yeux.
[the] precepts of Yahweh [are] upright making glad [the] heart [the] commandment of Yahweh [is] clean enlightening eyes.
9 La crainte de Yahweh est sainte: elle subsiste à jamais. Les décrets de Yahweh sont vrais: ils sont tous justes.
[the] fear of Yahweh - [is] pure enduring for ever [the] judgments of Yahweh [are] truth they are righteous altogether.
10 Ils sont plus précieux que l’or, que beaucoup d’or fin; plus doux que le miel, que celui qui coule des rayons.
Those desirable more than gold and more than pure gold much and sweet more than honey and [the] honey of honeycombs.
11 Ton serviteur aussi est éclairé par eux; grande récompense à qui les observe.
Also servant your [is] warned by them [is] in keeping them consequence great.
12 Qui connaît ses égarements? Pardonne-moi ceux que j’ignore!
Errors who? will he discern from hidden [sins] acquit me.
13 Préserve aussi ton serviteur des orgueilleux; qu’ils ne dominent point sur moi! Alors je serai parfait et je serai pur de grands péchés.
Also from presumptuous [sins] - keep back servant your may not they rule over me then I will be blameless and I will be acquitted from transgression great.
14 Accueille avec faveur les paroles de ma bouche, et les sentiments de mon cœur, devant toi, Yahweh, mon rocher et mon libérateur!
Let them be for acceptance - [the] words of mouth my and [the] meditation of heart my before you O Yahweh rock my and redeemer my.
