Psaumes 113

1 Alleluia! Louez, serviteurs de Yahweh, louez le nom de Yahweh,

Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.

2 Que le nom de Yahweh soit béni, dès maintenant et à jamais!

Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.

3 Du lever du soleil jusqu'à son couchant, loué soit le nom de Yahweh!

From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same the LORD'S name [is] to be praised.

4 Yahweh est élevé au-dessus de toutes les nations, sa gloire est au-dessus des cieux.

The LORD [is] high above all nations, [and] his glory above the heavens.

5 Qui est semblable à Yahweh, notre Dieu? Il siège dans les hauteurs,

Who [is] like to the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high.

6 et il regarde en bas, dans les cieux et sur la terre.

Who humbleth [himself] to behold [the things that are] in heaven, and in the earth!

7 Il relève le malheureux de la poussière, il retire le pauvre du fumier,

He raiseth the poor out of the dust, [and] lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

8 pour les faire asseoir avec les princes, avec les princes de son peuple.

That he may set [him] with princes, [even] with the princes of his people.

9 Il donne une demeure à la stérile de la maison, il en fait une mère joyeuse au milieu de ses enfants. Alleluia!

He maketh the barren woman to keep house, [and to be] a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.
