Isaïe 52
1 Réveille-toi, réveille-toi, revêts ta force, Sion! Revêts tes habits de fête, Jérusalem, ville sainte! Car l'incirconcis et l'impur n'entreront plus chez toi désormais.
Aries, arise: put on thy strength, O Zion: put on thy garments of thy beautie, O Ierusalem, the holy citie: for hencefoorth there shall no more come into thee the vncircumcised and the vncleane.
2 Secoue ta poussière, relève-toi, assieds-toi, Jérusalem; détache les chaînes de ton cou, captive, fille de Sion!
Shake thy selfe from the dust: arise, and sit downe, O Ierusalem: loose the bandes of thy necke, O thou captiue daughter, Zion.
3 Car ainsi parle Yahweh: Vous avez été vendus pour rien, et sans argent vous serez rachetés!
For thus sayeth the Lord, Yee were solde for naught: therefore shall ye be redeemed without money.
4 Car ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahweh: Mon peuple descendit jadis en Egypte pour y séjourner puis Assur l'opprima sans cause.
For thus saith the Lord God, My people went downe afore time into Egypt to soiourne there, and Asshur oppressed them without cause.
5 Et maintenant qu'ai-je à faire ici? — oracle de Yahweh, puisque mon peuple a été enlevé sans droit? Ses tyrans poussent des hurlements, — oracle de Yahweh, et sans cesse, tout le jour, mon nom est outragé.
Nowe therefore what haue I here, saith the Lord, that my people is taken away for naught, and they that rule ouer them, make them to howle, saith the Lord? and my Name all the day continually is blasphemed?
6 C'est pourquoi mon peuple connaîtra mon nom; oui, il saura en ce jour que c'est moi qui dis: " Me voici! "
Therefore my people shall know my Name: therefore they shall know in that day, that I am he that doe speake: beholde, it is I.
7 Qu'ils sont beaux sur les montagnes les pieds du messager, qui publie la bonne nouvelle de la paix; de celui qui annonce le bonheur, qui publie le salut; de celui qui dit à Sion: " Ton Dieu règne! "
How beautifull vpon the mountaines are the feete of him, that declareth and publisheth peace? that declareth good tidings, and publisheth saluation, saying vnto Zion, Thy God reigneth?
8 La voix de tes sentinelles! Elles élèvent la voix, elles poussent ensemble des cris d'allégresse, car elles voient de leurs yeux le retour de Yahweh en Sion.
The voyce of thy watchmen shalbe heard: they shall lift vp their voyce, and shoute together: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring againe Zion.
9 Eclatez ensemble en cris de joie, ruines de Jérusalem! Car Yahweh a consolé son peuple, il a racheté Jérusalem.
O ye desolate places of Ierusalem, bee glad and reioyce together: for the Lord hath comforted his people: he hath redeemed Ierusalem.
10 Yahweh a découvert le bras de sa sainteté, aux yeux de toutes les nations; et toutes les extrémités de la terre verront le salut de notre Dieu.
The Lord hath made bare his holy arme in the sight of all the Gentiles, and all the endes of the earth shall see the saluation of our God.
11 Partez, partez, sortez de là; ne touchez rien d'impur! Sortez du milieu d'elle; purifiez-vous; vous qui portez les vases de Yahweh.
Depart, depart ye: goe out from thence and touche no vncleane thing: goe out of the middes of her: be ye cleane, that beare the vessels of the Lord.
12 Car vous ne sortirez pas avec précipitation, et vous ne vous en irez pas en fuyant; car Yahweh marche devant vous, et le Dieu d'Israël est votre arrière garde!
For ye shall not goe out with haste, nor depart by fleeing away: but the Lord will goe before you, and the God of Israel will gather you together.
13 Voici que mon Serviteur prospérera; il grandira, il sera exalté, souverainement élevé.
Beholde, my seruant shall prosper: he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very hie.
14 De même que beaucoup ont été dans la stupeur en le voyant, — tant il était défiguré, son aspect n'étant plus celui d'un homme, ni son visage celui des enfants des hommes, —
As many were astonied at thee (his visage was so deformed of men, and his forme of the sonnes of men)
15 ainsi il fera tressaillir des nations nombreuses. Devant lui les rois fermeront la bouche; car ils verront ce qui ne leur avait pas été raconté, et ils apprendront ce qu'ils n'avaient pas entendu.
so shall hee sprinkle many nations: the Kings shall shut their mouthes at him: for that which had not bene tolde them, shall they see, and that which they had not heard, shall they vnderstande.
