Ézéchiel 43
1 Il me conduisit ensuite à la porte, la porte qui était tournée vers l’orient.
And he ledde me out to the yate, that bihelde to the eest weie.
2 Et voici que la gloire du Dieu d’Israël venait de la direction de l’orient. Sa voix était comme la voix des grandes eaux, et la terre resplendissait de sa gloire.
And lo! the glorie of God of Israel entride bi the eest weie; and a vois was to it, as the vois of many watris, and the erthe schynede of the mageste of hym.
3 L’aspect de l’image que je vis était comme l’image que j’avais vue lorsque je vins pour détruire la ville, et ce qu’on voyait était comme l’image que j’avais vue près du fleuve Chobar; et je tombai sur ma face.
And Y siy a visioun, bi the licnesse whiche Y hadde seyn, whanne he cam to distrie the citee; and the licnesse was lijc the biholdyng whiche Y hadde seyn bisidis the flood Chobar.
4 Et la gloire de Yahweh entra dans la maison par le chemin de la porte dont la façade était dans la direction de l’orient.
And Y felle doun on my face, and the mageste of the Lord entride in to the temple, bi the weie of the yate that biheeld to the eest.
5 Alors l’Esprit m’enleva et me fit entrer dans le parvis intérieur, et voici que la maison était remplie par la gloire de Yahweh.
And the Spirit reiside me, and ledde me in to the ynnere halle; and lo! the hous was fillid of the glorie of the Lord.
6 Et j’entendis qu’on me parlait du dedans de la maison, un homme se tenait debout à côté de moi.
And Y herde oon spekynge to me of the hous. And the man that stood bisidis me,
7 Il me dit: « Fils de l’homme, c’est ici le lieu de mon trône, le lieu où je poserai la plante de mes pieds, où j’habiterai au milieu des enfants d’Israël à jamais. La maison d’Israël, elle et ses rois, ne souilleront plus mon saint nom par leurs prostitutions, par les cadavres de leurs rois et pa r leurs hauts lieux,
seide to me, Thou, son of man, this is the place of my seete, and the place of the steppis of my feet, where Y dwelle in the myddis of the sones of Israel withouten ende; and the hous of Israel schulen no more defoule myn hooli name, thei, and the kyngis of hem in her fornicaciouns, and in the fallyngis of her kyngis, and in hiy places.
8 en mettant leur seuil auprès de mon seuil, et leur poteau auprès de mon poteau, de sorte qu’il n’y avait que le mur entre eux et moi, souillant ainsi mon saint nom par leurs abominations qu’ils commettaient; et je les ai exterminés dans ma colère.
Whiche maden her threisfold bisidis my threisfold, and her postis bisidis my postis, and a wal was bitwixe me and hem; and thei defouliden myn hooli name in abhomynaciouns whiche thei diden; wherfor Y wastide hem in my wraththe.
9 Maintenant ils éloigneront de moi leurs prostitutions et les cadavres de leurs rois, et j’habiterai au milieu d’eux à jamais.
Now therfor putte thei awei fer her fornicacioun, and the fallyng of her kyngis fro me; and Y schal dwelle euere in the myddis of hem.
10 Toi, fils de l’homme, fais connaître à la maison d’Israël cette maison, afin qu’ils soient confus de leurs péchés, et qu’ils en mesurent le modèle.
But thou, sone of man, schewe the temple to the hous of Israel, and be thei schent of her wickidnessis; and mete thei the bilding,
11 S’ils sont confus de tout ce qu’ils ont fait, apprends-leur la forme de la maison, son ordonnance, ses issues et ses entrées, ses formes, tous ses règlements, toutes ses formes et toutes ses lois; mets tout cela sous leurs yeux par écrit, et qu’ils gardent toutes ses formes et tous ses règlements et les mettent en pratique. »
and be thei aschamed of alle thingis whiche thei diden. Thou schalt schewe to hem, and thou schalt write bifore the iyen of hem the figure of the hous, and of the bildyng therof; the outgoyngis, and the entryngis, and al the discryuyng therof, and alle the comaundementis therof, and al the ordre therof, `and alle the lawis therof; that thei kepe alle the discryuyngis therof, and comaundementis therof, and do tho.
12 Telle est la loi de la maison: Au sommet de la montagne, son territoire tout à l’entour est saint des saints. Telle est la loi de la maison.
This is the lawe of the hous, in the hiynesse of the hil; alle the coostis therof in cumpas is the hooli of hooli thingis; therfor this is the lawe of the hous.
13 « Voici les mesures de l’autel en coudées, la coudée étant d’une coudée et d’un palme: Le chéneau a une coudée de hauteur et une coudée de largeur, et le rebord qui est sur son pourtour a un empan. Tel est le socle de l’autel.
Forsothe these ben the mesuris of the auter, in a verieste cubit, that hadde a cubit and a spanne; in the bosum therof was a cubit in lengthe, and a cubit in breede; and the ende therof til to the brenke, and o spanne in cumpas; also this was the diche of the auter.
14 Du chéneau qui est sur le sol au cadre inférieur il y a deux coudées, et la largeur est d’une coudée; du petit cadre au grand cadre, il y a quatre coudées, et la largeur est d’une coudée.
And fro the bosum of the erthe til to the laste heiythe weren twei cubitis, and the breede of o cubit; and fro the lesse heiythe til to the grettere heiythe were foure cubitis, and the breede was of o cubit;
15 Le Harel a quatre coudées, et de l’Ariel en haut s’élèvent les quatre cornes.
forsothe thilke ariel, that is, the hiyere part of the auter, was of foure cubitis; and fro the auter `til to aboue weren foure hornes.
16 L’Ariel a douze coudées de longueur sur douze coudées de largeur; il forme un carré parfait.
And the auter of twelue cubitis in lengthe was foure cornerid with euene sidis, bi twelue cubitis of breede.
17 Le cadre a, de ses quatre côtés, quatorze coudées de long sur quatorze coudées de large, et le rebord qui l’entoure a une demi-coudée; il a tout autour un chéneau d’une coudée; ses degrés sont tournés vers l’orient.
And the heiythe of fourtene cubitis of lengthe was bi fourtene cubitis of breede, in foure corneris therof. And a coroun of half a cubit was in the cumpas therof, and the bosum therof was of o cubit bi cumpas; forsothe the degrees therof weren turned to the eest.
18 Et il me dit: « Fils de l’homme, ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahweh: Voici les lois de l’autel le jour où il sera construit, afin d’y offrir l’holocauste et d’y faire l’aspersion du sang.
And he seide to me, Thou, sone of man, the Lord God seith these thingis, These ben the customs of the auter, in what euer dai it is maad, that me offre on it brent sacrifice, and blood be sched out.
19 Tu donneras aux prêtres lévites qui sont de la postérité de Sadoc et qui s’approchent de moi, — oracle du Seigneur Yahweh, — pour me servir, un jeune taureau en sacrifice pour le péché.
And thou schalt yyue to preestis and dekenes, that ben of the seed of Sadoch, that neiyen to me, seith the Lord God, that thei offre to me a calf of the drooue for synne.
20 Tu prendras de son sang et tu le mettras sur les quatre cornes de l’ autel et sur les quatre angles du cadre, et sur le rebord tout autour, et tu feras l’expiation de l’ autel et sa propitiation.
And thou schalt take of the blood therof, and schalt putte on foure hornes therof, and on foure corneris of heiythe, and on the coroun in cumpas; and thou schalt clense it, and make clene.
21 Tu prendras le taureau qui aura été offert pour le péché et on le brûlera dans le lieu réservé de la maison, en dehors du sanctuaire.
And thou schalt take the calf which is offrid for synne, and thou schalt brenne it in a departid place of the hous, with out the seyntuarie.
22 Le second jour, tu offriras pour le péché un jeune bouc sans défaut, et on fera l’expiation de l’autel comme on l’ a faite pour le taureau.
And in the secounde dai thou schalt offre a buk of geet, which is with out wem, for synne; and thei schulen clense the auter, as thei clensiden in the calf.
23 Quand tu auras achevé de faire l’expiation, tu offriras un jeune taureau sans défaut et un bélier du troupeau sans défaut.
And whanne thou hast fillid that clensyng, thou schalt offre a calf of the drooue, which calf is without wem, and a wether with out wem of the floc.
24 Tu les présenteras devant Yahweh; les prêtres jetteront sur eux du sel et les offriront en holocauste à Yahweh.
And thou schalt offre tho in the siyt of the Lord; and prestis schulen putte salt on tho, and schulen offre tho in to brent sacrifice to the Lord.
25 Pendant sept jours tu offriras en sacrifice un bouc pour le péché, chaque jour; on offrira aussi un taureau et un bélier du troupeau sans défaut.
Bi seuene daies thou schalt make a buk of geet for synne, ech dai; and thei schulen offre a calf of the drooue, and a wether vnwemmed of scheep.
26 Pendant sept jours on fera la propitiation de l’autel, on le purifiera et on le consacrera.
Bi seuene daies thei schulen clense the auter, and schulen make it cleene, and thei schulen fille the hond therof.
27 Les sept jours achevés, le huitième jour et dorénavant, les prêtres offriront sur l’autel vos holocaustes et vos sacrifices pacifiques, et je vous serai favorable, — oracle du Seigneur Yahweh. »
Forsothe whanne seuene daies ben fillid, in the eiythe dai and ferther prestis schulen make on the auter youre brent sacrifices, and tho thingis whiche thei offren for pees; and Y schal be plesid to you, seith the Lord God.
