Deutéronome 32
1 Cieux, prêtez l’oreille, et je parlerai; et que la terre écoute les paroles de ma bouche!
Give ear O heavens so let me speak and it may hear the earth [the] words of mouth my.
2 Que mon enseignement se répande comme la pluie, que ma parole tombe comme la rosée, comme des ondées sur la verdure, comme des gouttes d’eau sur le gazon!
May it drop like the rain teaching my may it distil like the dew speech my like showers of rain on grass and like copious showers on vegetation.
3 Car je veux proclamer le nom de Yahweh: Rendez gloire à notre Dieu!
For [the] name of Yahweh I will proclaim ascribe greatness to God our.
4 Le Rocher, son œuvre est parfaite, car toutes ses voies sont justes; c’est un Dieu fidèle et sans iniquité; il est juste et droit.
The rock [is] perfect work his for all ways his [are] justice a God of faithfulness and there not [is] injustice [is] righteous and upright he.
5 Ils ont péché contre lui, non ses enfants, mais leur souillure, une race fausse et perverse.
It has acted corruptly to him not children his blemish their a generation perverse and crooked.
6 Est-ce là ce que vous rendez à Yahweh, peuple insensé et dépourvu de sagesse? N’est-il pas ton père, ton créateur, celui qui t’a fait et qui t’a établi?
¿ To Yahweh do you repay this O people foolish and not wise ¿ not [is] he father your he created you he he made you and he established you.
7 Souviens-toi des anciens jours, considérez les années des générations passées! Interroge ton père, et il te l’apprendra, tes vieillards, et ils te le diront.
Remember [the] days of antiquity consider [the] years of a generation and a generation ask father your so he will tell you old [people] your so they may say to you.
8 Quand le Très-Haut assigna un héritage aux nations, quand il sépara les enfants des hommes, il fixa les limites des peuples, d’après le nombre des enfants d’Israël.
When gave inheritances to [the] Most High nations when separated he [the] children of humankind he fixed boundaries of peoples to [the] number of [the] people of Israel.
9 Car la portion de Yahweh, c’est son peuple, Jacob est le lot de son héritage.
For [the] portion of Yahweh [is] people his Jacob [is] [the] measured portion of inheritance his.
10 Il l’a trouvé dans une terre déserte, dans une solitude, aux hurlements sauvages; il l’a entouré, il a pris soin de lui, il l’a gardé comme la prunelle de son œil.
He found it in a land of wilderness and in a wasteland of howling of a desolate place he surrounded it he took care of it he guarded it like [the] pupil of eye his.
11 Pareil à l’aigle qui excite sa couvée, et voltige au-dessus de ses petits, Yahweh a déployé ses ailes, il a pris Israël, il l’a porté sur ses plumes;
Like an eagle [which] it stirs up nest its over young ones its it hovers it spreads out wings its it takes it it carries it on pinion its.
12 Yahweh seul l’a conduit, nul dieu étranger n’était avec lui.
Yahweh alone he guided it and there not with him [was] a god of foreignness.
13 Il l’a fait monter sur les hauteurs du pays, et Israël a mangé les produits des champs; il lui a fait sucer le miel du rocher, l’huile qui sort de la roche la plus dure,
He caused to ride it on ([the] high places of *Q(k)*) [the] land and it ate fruits of [the] field and he suckled him honey from a rock and oil from flint of rock.
14 la crème de la vache et le lait des brebis, avec la graisse des agneaux, des béliers nés en Basan et des boucs, avec la fleur du froment; et tu as bu le sang de la grappe, le vin écumant.
Curd of [the] herd and milk of [the] flock with fat of lambs and rams [the] sons of Bashan and goats with [the] fat of [the] kidneys of wheat and blood of grape[s] you drank wine.
15 Mais Jésurun est devenu gras, et il a regimbé; — tu es devenu gras, épais, replet! — et il a abandonné le Dieu qui l’avait formé, et méprisé le Rocher de son salut.
And he grew fat Jeshurun and he kicked you have grown fat you have become bloated you have become gorged and he abandoned God [who] he made him and he treated with contempt [the] rock of salvation his.
16 Ils ont excité sa jalousie par des dieux étrangers, ils l’ont irrité par des abomination;
They made jealous him by strange [gods] by abominations they provoked to anger him.
17 ils ont sacrifié à des démons qui ne sont pas Dieu, à des dieux qu’ils ne connaissaient pas, dieux nouveaux, venus récemment, devant lesquels vos pères n’avaient pas tremblé.
They sacrificed to the demons [which] not [are] God gods [which] not they had known them new [gods] [which] from near they had come [which] not they had known about them ancestors your.
18 Tu as abandonné le Rocher qui t’avait engendré, et oublié le Dieu qui t’avait mis au monde.
[the] rock [which] he fathered You you forgot and you forgot God [who] gave birth to you.
19 Yahweh l’a vu, et il en a été indigné, provoqué par ses fils et ses filles.
And he saw Yahweh and he spurned from [the] provocation of sons his and daughters his.
20 Il a dit: « Je leur cacherai ma face, je verrai quelle sera leur fin; car c’est une race perverse, des fils en qui il n’y a pas de bonne foi.
And he said I will hide face my from them I will see what? [will be] end their for [are] a generation of perversiti they children [whom] not faithfulness [is] in them.
21 Ils ont excité ma jalousie par ce qui n’est pas Dieu, ils m’ont irrité par leurs vaines idoles; et moi, j’exciterai leur jalousie par ce qui n’est pas un peuple, je les irriterai par une nation insensée.
They they have made jealous me by not a god they have provoked to anger me by vanities their and I I will make jealous them by not a people by a nation foolish I will provoke to anger them.
22 Car le feu de ma colère s’est allumé, il brûle jusqu’au fond du séjour des morts; il dévore la terre et ses produits, il embrase les fondements des montagnes. (Sheol h7585)
For a fire it has been kindled by anger my and it has burned to Sheol lowest and it has consumed [the] earth and produce its and it has set ablaze [the] foundations of [the] mountains. (Sheol h7585)
23 J’accumulerai sur eux les maux, sur eux j’épuiserai mes flèches.
I will catch up on them calamities arrows my I will use up on them.
24 Ils seront exténués par la faim, consumés par la fièvre et par la peste meurtrière; et j’enverrai encore contre eux la dent des bêtes, avec le venin des reptiles qui rampent dans la poussière.
[people] weakened of Famine and [people] consumed of plague and destruction bitter and tooth of animals I will send on them with [the] venom of [things which] crawl of [the] dust.
25 Au dehors l’épée ravira les enfants, — et au dedans ce sera l’effroi: le jeune homme comme la jeune fille, l’enfant à la mamelle comme le vieillard.
From outside it will make childless a sword and [will be] from inner rooms terror both young man as well as young woman a suckling-child with a person of gray hair.
26 Je dirai: « Je les emporterai d’un souffle, je ferai disparaître leur souvenir du milieu des hommes, »
I said I will cut in pieces them I will make cease from humankind memory their.
27 si je ne craignais l’arrogance de l’ennemi, que leurs adversaires ne se méprennent et qu’ils ne disent: « Notre main a été puissante, et ce n’est pas Yahweh qui a fait toutes ces choses. »
If not [the] provocation of an enemy I was afraid lest they should misconstrue opponents their lest they should say hands our it was raised and not Yahweh he did all this.
28 Car c’est une nation dénuée de sens, et il n’y a point d’intelligence en eux.
For [are] a nation perishing of counsel they and there not in them [is] understanding.
29 S’ils étaient sages, ils le comprendraient, ils considéreraient la fin qui les attend.
If they were wise they will comprehend this they will understand end their.
30 Comment un homme en poursuivrait-il mille, comment deux en feraient-ils fuir dix mille, si leur Rocher ne les avait vendus, si Yahweh ne les avait livrés?
How? will he pursue one [person] a thousand and two [people] will they put to flight? ten thousand if in-deed rock their he had sold them and Yahweh he had delivered up them.
31 Car leur rocher n’est pas comme notre Rocher, nos ennemis en sont juges.
For not [is] like rock our rock their and enemies our assessments.
32 Mais leur vigne est du plant de Sodome, et des champs de Gomorrhe; leurs raisins sont des raisins vénéneux, et leurs grappes sont amères;
For [is] from [the] vine of Sodom vine their and from [the] terraced fields of Gomorrah grapes their [are] grapes of poison clusters [are] bitter of them.
33 leur vin, c’est le venin des dragons, c’est le poison mortel des aspics.
[is the] venom of Serpents wine their and [the] poison of cobras cruel.
34 Cela n’est-il pas caché près de moi, scellé dans mes trésors?
¿ Not [is] that stored up with me sealed up in storehouses my.
35 À moi la vengeance et la rétribution, pour le temps où leur pied trébuchera! Car le jour de leur malheur est proche, et leur destin se précipite.
[belong] to Me vengeance and retribution to a time [when] it will slip foot their for [is] near [the] day of disaster their and it will make haste impending [things] to them.
36 Car Yahweh fera droit à son peuple, et il se repentira en faveur de ses serviteurs, quand il verra que leur force est épuisée, et qu’il ne reste plus ni esclave, ni libre.
For he will judge Yahweh people his and on servants his he will have compassion if he will see that it has been used up hand and there not [is] shut up and freed.
37 Il dira: « Où sont leurs dieux, le rocher près duquel ils se réfugiaient,
And he will say where? [are] gods their [the] rock [which] they sought refuge in it.
38 ces dieux qui mangeaient la graisse de leurs victimes, qui buvaient le vin de leurs libations? Qu’ils se lèvent, qu’ils vous secourent, qu’ils vous couvrent de leur protection!…
Which [the] fat of sacrifices their they ate they drank [the] wine drink-offering their let them arise and let them help you let it be over you a shelter.
39 Voyez maintenant que c’est moi, moi qui suis Dieu, et qu’il n’y a point de Dieu à côté de moi. C’est moi qui fais mourir et qui fais vivre; j’ai blessé, et c’est moi qui guérirai, et il n’y a personne qui délivre de ma main.
See - now that I I [am] he and there not [is] a god with me I I put to death and I may restore to life I wound and I I heal and there not from hand my [is] a deliverer.
40 Oui, je lève ma main vers le ciel, et je dis: Je vis éternellement!
For I lift up to heaven hand my and I will say [am] living I for ever.
41 Quand j’aiguiserai l’éclair de mon glaive, et que ma main saisira le jugement, je tirerai vengeance de mes ennemis, et je rendrai à ceux qui me haïssent.
If I sharpen [the] lightning of sword my so it may take hold on judgment hand my I will return vengeance to foes my and to [those who] hate me I will repay.
42 J’enivrerai mes flèches de sang, et mon épée se repaîtra de chair: du sang des tués et des captifs, de la tête chevelue de l’ennemi. »
I will make drunk arrows my from blood and sword my it will devour flesh from [the] blood of [the] slain and [the] captive from [the] head of [the] leaders of [the] enemy.
43 Nations, poussez des cris de joie en l’honneur de son peuple! Car Yahweh venge le sang de ses serviteurs, il tire vengeance de ses adversaires, et il fait l’expiation pour sa terre, pour son peuple.
Shout for joy O nations people his for [the] blood of servants his he will avenge and vengeance he will return to foes his and he will make atonement for land his people his.
44 Moïse vint et prononça toutes les paroles de ce cantique aux oreilles du peuple; avec lui était Josué, fils de Nun.
And he came Moses and he spoke all [the] words of the song this in [the] ears of the people he and Hoshea [the] son of Nun.
45 Lorsqu’il eut achevé d’adresser toutes ces paroles à tout Israël,
And he finished Moses to speak all the words these to all Israel.
46 il leur dit: « Prenez à cœur toutes les paroles que je proclame aujourd’hui devant vous, que vous devez prescrire à vos enfants, pour qu’ils mettent soigneusement en pratique toutes les paroles de cette loi.
And he said to them set heart your to all the words which I [am] warning you this day that you will command them children your to take care to do all [the] words of the law this.
47 Car ce n’est pas une chose indifférente pour vous; c’est votre vie, et, par l’accomplissement de cette parole, vous prolongerez vos jours sur la terre dont vous allez prendre possession en passant le Jourdain. »
For not [is] a word [too] empty it for you for it [is] lives your and by the word this you will prolong days on the land where you [are] about to pass over the Jordan there towards to take possession of it.
48 Ce même jour, Yahweh parla à Moïse, en disant:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses on [the] substance of the day this saying.
49 « Monte sur cette montagne d’Abarim, sur le mont Nébo, au pays de Moab, vis-à-vis de Jéricho, et regarde le pays de Chanaan, que je donne aux enfants d’Israël pour être leur propriété.
Go up to [the] mountain of the Abarim this [the] mountain of Nebo which [is] in [the] land of Moab which [is] on [the] face of Jericho and see [the] land of Canaan which I [am] about to give to [the] people of Israel to a possession.
50 Tu mourras sur la montagne où tu vas monter, et tu seras réuni à ton peuple, de même qu’Aaron, ton frère, est mort sur la montagne de Hor et a été réuni à son peuple,
And die on the mountain where you [are] about to go up there towards and be gathered to people your just as he died Aaron brother your on Hor the mountain and he was gathered to people his.
51 parce que vous avez péché contre moi au milieu des enfants d’Israël, aux eaux de Mériba de Cadès, dans le désert de Sin, et que vous ne m’avez pas sanctifié au milieu des enfants d’Israël.
On that you acted unfaithfully against me in among [the] people of Israel at [the] waters of Meribah Kadesh [the] wilderness of Zin on that not you honored as holy me in among [the] people of Israel.
52 Tu verras le pays en face de toi, mais tu n’y entreras point, dans ce pays, que je donne aux enfants d’Israël. »
For from before you will see the land and there towards not you will go into the land which I [am] about to give to [the] people Israel.
