1 Corinthiens 16
1 Quant à la collecte en faveur des saints, suivez, vous aussi, les prescriptions que j’ai données aux Églises de la Galatie.

2 Le premier jour de la semaine, que chacun de vous mette à part chez lui, et amasse ce qu’il peut épargner, afin qu’on n’attende pas mon arrivée pour faire les collectes.
Ech of you kepe at hym silf, kepynge that that plesith to him, that whanne Y come, the gaderyngis ben not maad.
3 Et quand je serai arrivé, j’enverrai avec des lettres ceux que vous aurez désignés, porter vos libéralités à Jérusalem.
And whanne Y schal be present, whiche men ye preuen, Y schal sende hem bi epistlis to bere youre grace in to Jerusalem.
4 S’il convient que j’y aille aussi moi-même, ils feront le voyage avec moi.
That if it be worthi that also Y go, thei schulen go with me.
5 J’irai chez vous quand j’aurai passé par la Macédoine; car je la traverserai seulement;
But Y schal come to you, whanne Y schal passe bi Macedonye; for whi Y schal passe bi Macedonye.
6 mais peut-être séjournerai-je auprès de vous, ou même y passerai-je l’hiver, afin que ce soit vous qui m’accompagniez là où je dois aller.
But perauenture Y schal dwelle at you, or also dwelle the wynter, that and ye lede me whidir euere Y schal go.
7 Je ne veux pas cette fois vous voir seulement en passant, mais j’espère demeurer quelque temps auprès de vous, si le Seigneur le permet.
And Y wole not now se you in my passyng, for Y hope to dwelle with you awhile, if the Lord schal suffre.
8 Je resterai cependant à Éphèse jusqu’à la Pentecôte;
But Y schal dwelle at Efesi, `til to Witsuntide.
9 car une porte m’est ouverte, grande et efficace, et les adversaires sont nombreux.
For a grete dore and an opyn is openyd to me, and many aduersaries.
10 Si Timothée vient chez vous, faites en sorte qu’il soit sans crainte parmi vous, car il travaille comme moi à l’œuvre du Seigneur.
And if Thimothe come, se ye that he be with out drede with you, for he worcheth the werk of the Lord, as Y.
11 Que personne donc ne le méprise. Reconduisez-le en paix, afin qu’il vienne me trouver, car je l’attends avec les frères.
Therfor no man dispise hym; but lede ye hym forth in pees, that he come to me; for Y abide hym with britheren.
12 Pour ce qui est de notre frère Apollos, je l’ai fortement engagé à se rendre chez vous avec les frères, mais il n’a absolument pas voulu le faire maintenant; il ira quand il en trouvera l’occasion.
But, britheren, Y make knowun to you of Apollo, that Y preiede him myche, that he schulde come to you, with britheren. But it was not his wille to come now; but he schal come, whanne he schal haue leiser.
13 Veillez, demeurez fermes dans la foi, soyez des hommes, fortifiez-vous.
Walke ye, and stonde ye in the feith; do ye manli, and be ye coumfortid in the Lord,
14 Que tout se fasse chez vous dans la charité.
and be alle youre thingis don in charite.
15 Je vous adresse encore cette recommandation, frères. Vous savez que la famille de Stéphanas est les prémices de l’Achaïe, et qu’elle s’est dévouée aux services des saints:
And, britheren, Y biseche you, ye knowen the hous of Stephan, and of Fortunati, and Acaicy, for thei ben the firste fruytis of Acaie, and in to mynystrie of seyntis thei han ordeyned hem silf;
16 ayez à votre tour de la déférence pour des hommes de ce mérite, et pour quiconque coopère et travaille à la même œuvre.
that also ye be sugetis to suche, and to ech worchynge togidere and trauelynge.
17 Je suis heureux de la présence de Stéphanas, de Fortunat et d’Achaïque; ils ont suppléé à votre absence,
For Y haue ioie in the presence of Stephan, and of Fortunate, and Acaici;
18 car ils ont tranquillisé mon esprit et le vôtre. Sachez donc apprécier de tels hommes.
for thei filliden that thing that failide to you; for thei han refreischid bothe my spirit and youre. Therfor knowe ye hem, that ben suche maner men.
19 Les Églises d’Asie vous saluent. Aquilas et Priscille, avec l’Église qui est dans leur maison, vous saluent beaucoup dans le Seigneur.
Alle the chirchis of Asie greten you wel. Aquila and Prisca, with her homeli chirche, greten you myche in the Lord, at the whiche also Y am herborid.
20 Tous les frères vous saluent. Saluez-vous les uns les autres par un saint baiser.
Alle bretheren greten you wel. Grete ye wel togidere in hooli cos.
21 La salutation est de ma propre main, à moi Paul.

22 Si quelqu’un n’aime pas le Seigneur, qu’il soit anathème! Maran atha.
If ony man loueth not oure Lord Jhesu Crist, be he cursid, Maranatha.
23 Que la grâce du Seigneur Jésus soit avec vous!
The grace of oure Lord Jhesu Crist be with you.
24 Mon amour est avec vous tous en Jésus-Christ [Amen!].
My charite be with you alle in Crist Jhesu oure Lord. Amen.
