Psaumes 98

1 Psaume. Chantez à Yahweh un cantique nouveau, car il a fait des prodiges; sa droite et son bras saints lui ont donné la victoire.

A Psalm. O sing unto the LORD a new song; for He hath done marvellous things; His right hand, and His holy arm, hath wrought salvation for Him.

2 Yahweh a manifesté son salut, il a révélé sa justice aux yeux des nations.

The LORD hath made known His salvation; His righteousness hath He revealed in the sight of the nations.

3 Il s’est souvenu de sa bonté et de sa fidélité envers la maison d’Israël; toutes les extrémités de la terre ont vu le salut de notre Dieu.

He hath remembered His mercy and His faithfulness toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4 Poussez vers Yahweh des cris de joie, vous, habitants de toute la terre, faites éclater votre allégresse au son des instruments!

Shout unto the LORD, all the earth; break forth and sing for joy, yea, sing praises.

5 Célébrez Yahweh sur la harpe, sur la harpe et au son des cantiques!

Sing praises unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp and the voice of melody.

6 Avec les trompettes et au son du cor, poussez des cris de joie devant le Roi Yahweh!

With trumpets and sound of the horn shout ye before the King, the LORD.

7 Que la mer s’agite avec tout ce qu’elle renferme, que la terre et ses habitants fassent éclater leurs transports.

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein;

8 Que les fleuves applaudissent, qu’ensemble les montagnes poussent des cris de joie,

Let the floods clap their hands; let the mountains sing for joy together;

9 devant Yahweh — car il vient pour juger la terre; il jugera le monde avec justice, et les peuples avec équité.

Before the LORD, for He is come to judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.
