Psaumes 107
1 Célébrez Yahweh, car il est bon, car sa miséricorde est éternelle.
Give thanks to Yahweh for [he is] good for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
2 Qu’ainsi disent les rachetés de Yahweh, ceux qu’il a rachetés des mains de l’ennemi,
Let them say [the] redeemed of Yahweh whom he has redeemed them from [the] hand of [the] opponent.
3 et qu’il a rassemblés de tous les pays, de l’orient et de l’occident, du nord et de la mer!
And from [the] lands he has gathered them from east and from west from north and from [the] sea.
4 Ils erraient dans le désert, dans un chemin solitaire, sans trouver une ville à habiter.
They wandered about in the wilderness in a desolate place of a way a city of dwelling not they found.
5 En proie à la faim, à la soif, ils sentaient leur âme défaillir.
Hungry also thirsty life their in them it was fainting away.
6 Dans leur détresse, ils crièrent vers Yahweh, et il les délivra de leurs angoisses.
And they cried out to Yahweh when it was distress to them from troubles their he delivered them.
7 Il les mena par le droit chemin, pour les faire arriver à une ville habitable.
And he led them by a way straight to go to a city of dwelling.
8 Qu’ils louent Yahweh pour sa bonté, et pour ses merveilles en faveur du fils de l’homme.
Let them give thanks to Yahweh covenant loyalty his and wonders his to [the] children of humankind.
9 Car il a désaltéré l’âme altérée, et comblé de biens l’âme affamée.
For he satisfies a throat longing and a throat hungry he fills good thing[s].
10 Ils habitaient les ténèbres et l’ombre de la mort, prisonniers dans la souffrance et dans les fers.
[those who] sat of Darkness and deep darkness prisoners of affliction and iron.
11 Parce qu’ils s’étaient révoltés contre les oracles du Dieu, et qu’ils avaient méprisé le conseil du Très-Haut,
For they had rebelled against [the] words of God and [the] counsel of [the] Most High they had spurned.
12 il humilia leur cœur par la souffrance; ils s’affaissèrent, et personne ne les secourut.
And he humbled with trouble heart their they stumbled and there not [was] a helper.
13 Dans leur détresse, ils crièrent vers Yahweh, et il les sauva de leurs angoisses.
And they cried out to Yahweh when it was distress to them from troubles their he saved them.
14 Il les tira des ténèbres et de l’ombre de la mort, et il brisa leurs chaînes.
He brought out them from darkness and deep darkness and fetters their he tore apart.
15 Qu’ils louent Yahweh pour sa bonté, et pour ses merveilles en faveur des fils de l’homme.
Let them give thanks to Yahweh covenant loyalty his and wonders his to [the] children of humankind.
16 Car il a brisé les portes d’airain et mis en pièces les verrous de fer.
For he breaks down gates of bronze and bars of iron he cuts down.
17 Les insensés! par leur conduite criminelle, et par leurs iniquités, ils avaient attiré sur eux la souffrance.
Fools from [the] way of transgression their and from iniquities their they were afflicted.
18 Leur âme avait en horreur toute nourriture, et ils touchaient aux portes de la mort.
All food it loathed throat their and they reached to [the] gates of death.
19 Dans leur détresse, ils crièrent vers Yahweh, et il les sauva de leurs angoisses.
And they cried out to Yahweh when it was distress to them from troubles their he saved them.
20 Il envoya sa parole et il les guérit, et il les fit échapper de leurs tombeaux.
He sent word his and he healed them and he may deliver [them] (from pits their. *LAH(b)*)
21 Qu’ils louent Yahweh pour sa bonté, et pour ses merveilles en faveur des fils de l’homme!
Let them give thanks to Yahweh covenant loyalty his and wonders his to [the] children of (humankind. *LAH(b)*)
22 Qu’ils offrent des sacrifices d’actions de grâce, et qu’ils publient ses œuvres avec des cris de joie!
And let them sacrifice sacrifices of thanksgiving and let them recount works his (with a shout of joy. *L(abh)*)
23 Ils étaient descendus sur la mer dans des navires, pour faire le négoce sur les vastes eaux:
[those who] went down the Sea in ships [those who] did business on [the] waters (many. *L(abh)*)
24 — ceux là ont vu les œuvres de Yahweh, et ses merveilles au milieu de l’abîme —
They they saw [the] works of Yahweh and wonders his (in [the] deep. *L(abh)*)
25 Il dit, et il fit lever un vent de tempête, qui souleva les flots de la mer.
And he spoke and he appointed a wind of a storm and it lifted up (waves its. *L(abh)*)
26 Ils montaient jusqu’aux cieux, ils descendaient dans les abîmes; leur âme défaillait dans la peine.
They went up [the] heavens they went down [the] deeps soul their in distress (it melted. *LB(ah)*)
27 Saisis de vertige, ils chancelaient comme un homme ivre, et toute leur sagesse était anéantie.
They staggered and they may trembled like drunkard and all skill their (it was confused. *LB(ah)*)
28 Dans leur détresse, ils crièrent vers Yahweh, et il les tira de leurs angoisses.
And they cried out to Yahweh when it was distress to them and from troubles their he brought out them.
29 Il changea l’ouragan en brise légère, et les vagues de la mer se turent.
He raised [the] storm into a calm and they were still waves their.
30 Ils se réjouirent en les voyant apaisées, et Yahweh les conduisit au port désiré.
And they rejoiced for they were quiet and he guided them to [the] harbor of desire their.
31 Qu’ils louent Yahweh pour sa bonté, et pour ses merveilles en faveur des fils de l’homme!
Let them give thanks to Yahweh covenant loyalty his and wonders his to [the] children of humankind.
32 Qu’ils l’exaltent dans l’assemblée du peuple, et qu’ils le célèbrent dans le conseil des anciens!
And let them exalt him in [the] assembly of [the] people and in [the] seat of [the] elders let them praise him.
33 Il a changé les fleuves en désert, et les sources d’eau en sol aride;
He made rivers into a wilderness and springs of water into thirsty ground.
34 Le pays fertile en plaine de sel, à cause de la méchanceté de ses habitants.
A land of fruit into saltiness from [the] evil of [those who] dwell in it.
35 Il a fait du désert un bassin d’eau, et de la terre aride un sol plein de sources.
He made a wilderness into a pool of water and a land dry into springs of water.
36 Il y établit les affamés, et ils fondèrent une ville pour l’habiter.
And he caused to dwell there hungry [people] and they established a city of dwelling.
37 Ils ensemencèrent des champs, et ils plantèrent des vignes, et ils recueillirent d’abondantes récoltes.
And they sowed fields and they planted vineyards and they produced fruit of produce.
38 Il les bénit, et ils se multiplièrent beaucoup, et il ne laissa pas diminuer leurs troupeaux.
And he blessed them and they multiplied exceedingly and cattle their not he made few.
39 Ils avaient été réduits à un petit nombre et humiliés, sous l’accablement du malheur et de la souffrance.
And they became few and they were bowed down from [the] pressure of calamity (and sorrow. *L(abh)*)
40 Il avait répandu la honte sur leurs princes, il les avait fait errer dans des déserts sans chemins.
[he was] pouring out Contempt on noble [people] and he made wander them in a wasteland not a way.
41 Mais il a relevé le malheureux de la misère, et il a rendu les familles pareilles à des troupeaux.
And he set on high [the] needy from affliction and he made like flock families.
42 Les hommes droits le voient et se réjouissent, et tous les méchants ferment la bouche.
They see upright [people] so they may rejoice and all unrighteousness it shuts mouth its.
43 Que celui qui est sage prenne garde à ces choses, et qu’il comprenne les bontés de Yahweh!
Who? [is] wise and let him observe these [things] and let them consider carefully [the] covenant loyalti of Yahweh.
