1 Le jour où Moïse acheva de dresser la Demeure, de l’oindre et de la sanctifier avec tous ses ustensiles, ainsi que l’autel avec tous ses ustensiles; lorsqu’il les eut oints et sanctifiés,

And it came to pass, on the day when Moses made an end of rearing up the habitation and anointing it, and hallowing it, and all the furniture thereof, and the altar, and all the utensils thereof, —both of anointing them, and hallowing them,

2 les princes d’Israël, chefs de leurs maisons patriarcales, présentèrent leurs offrandes: c’étaient les princes des tribus, ceux qui avaient présidé au dénombrement.

that the princes of Israel, the heads of their ancestral houses, made an offering, —they being princes of the tribes, they being the men who stood over them who were numbered:

3 Ils amenèrent leur offrande devant Yahweh: six chars couverts et douze bœufs, soit un char pour deux princes et un bœuf pour chaque prince, et ils les présentèrent devant la Demeure.

yea then brought they in as their offering, before Yahweh—six covered waggons, and twelve oxen, a waggon for every two of the princes and an ox for each one, —yea they brought them near before the habitation.

4 Yahweh parla à Moïse, en disant:

Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

5 « Reçois d’eux ces choses, et qu’elles soient employées pour le service de la tente de réunion; tu les donneras aux Lévites, à chacun selon les besoins de son service. »

Take [them] of them, so shall they be for doing the laborious work of the tent of meeting, —and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to the need of his laborious work.

6 Moïse, ayant pris les chars et les bœufs, les remit aux Lévites.

So Moses took the waggons, and the oxen, —and gave them unto the Levites:

7 Il donna deux chars et quatre bœufs aux fils de Gerson, selon les besoins de leur service;

two of the waggons and four of the oxen, gave he unto the sons of Gershon, —according to the need of their laborious work;

8 il donna quatre chars et huit bœufs aux fils de Mérari, selon les besoins de leur service, sous la surveillance d’Ithamar, fils d’Aaron, le prêtre.

and four of the waggons, and eight of the oxen, gave he unto the sons of Merari, —according to the need of their laborious work, in the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest;

9 Mais il n’en donna pas aux fils de Caath, parce que, ayant le service des objets sacrés, ils devaient les porter sur leurs épaules.

but, unto the sons of Kohath, gave he none, —because as to the laborious work of the sanctuary which pertained unto them, upon their shoulders, were they to carry it.

10 Les princes présentèrent leur offrande pour la dédicace de l’autel, le jour où on l’oignit; les princes présentèrent leur offrande devant l’autel.

So then the princes offered for the dedication of the altar, on the day it was anointed, —yea the princes offered their oblation before the altar,

11 Et Yahweh dit à Moïse: « Que chaque jour un prince vienne présenter son offrande pour la dédicace de l’autel. »

And Yahweh said unto Moses: Each prince on his appointed day, thus shall they offer their oblation, for the dedication of the altar.

12 Celui qui présenta son offrande le premier jour fut Nahasson, fils d’Aminadab, de la tribu de Juda.

And so it was, that, he who on the first day, offered his oblation, —was Nahshon son of Amminadab of the tribe of Judah;

13 Il offrit: un plat d’argent du poids de cent trente sicles, une coupe d’argent de soixante-dix sicles, selon le sicle du sanctuaire, l’un et l’autre pleins de fleur de farine pétrie à l’huile, pour l’oblation;

and his offering, was—one charger of silver, a hundred and thirty shekels, the weight thereof, one tossing bowl of silver, seventy shekels by the shekel of the sanctuary, —both of them, full of fine meal overflowed with oil for a meal-offering;

14 un godet d’or de dix sicles, plein de parfum;

one spoon of ten shekels of gold full of incense;

15 un jeune taureau, un bélier et un agneau d’un an pour l’holocauste;

one choice young bullock one ram one he-lamb of the first year, as an ascending-sacrifice;

16 un bouc pour le sacrifice pour le péché,

one young he-goat, as a sin-bearer;

17 et, pour le sacrifice pacifique, deux bœufs, cinq béliers, cinq boucs et cinq agneaux d’un an. Telle fut l’offrande de Nahasson, fils d’Aminadab.

and as a peace-offering, two oxen, five rams five he-goats, five he-lambs of the first year, —this, was the offering of Nashon, son of Amminadab.

18 Le second jour, Nathanaël, fils de Suar, prince de la tribu d’Issachar, présenta son offrande.

On the second day, Nethanel, son of Zuar, prince of Issachar, brought his offering.

19 Il offrit: un plat d’argent du poids de cent trente sicles, une coupe d’argent de soixante-dix sicles, selon le sicle du sanctuaire, l’un et l’autre pleins de fleur de farine pétrie à l’huile, pour l’oblation;

He offered as his oblation—one charger of silver, a hundred and thirty shekels, the weight thereof, one tossing bowl of silver, seventy shekels by the shekel of the sanctuary, —both of them, full of fine meal overflowed with oil as a meal-offering;

20 un godet d’or de dix sicles, plein de parfum;

one spoon of ten [shekels] of gold full of incense;

21 un jeune taureau, un bélier et un agneau d’un an pour l’holocauste;

one choice young bullock one ram one he-lamb of the first year, as an ascending-sacrifice;

22 un bouc pour le sacrifice pour le péché,

24 Le troisième jour vint le prince des fils de Zabulon, Eliab, fils de Hélon;

On the third day, the prince of the sons of Zebulun, —Eliab, son of Helon:

On the fourth day, the prince of he sons of Reuben, —Elizur, son of Shedeur:

42 Le sixième jour vint le prince des fils de Gad, Eliasaph, fils de Duel;

On the sixth day, the prince of the sons of Gad, —Eliasaph, son of Deuel:

43 il offrit: un plat d’argent du poids de cent trente sicles, et une coupe d’argent de soixante-dix sicles, selon le sicle du sanctuaire, l’un et l’autre pleins de fleur de farine pétrie à l’huile, pour l’oblation;

On the eighth day, the prince of the sons of Manasseh, —Gamaliel, son of Pedahzur:

On the twelfth day, the prince of the sons of Naphtali, Ahira, son of Enan:

79 il offrit: un plat d’argent du poids de cent trente sicles, et une coupe d’argent de soixante-dix sicles, selon le sicle du sanctuaire, l’un et l’autre pleins de fleur de farine pétrie à l’huile, pour l’oblation;

84 Tels furent les dons des princes d’Israël pour la dédicace de l’autel, le jour où on l’oignit: douze plats d’argent, douze coupes d’argents et douze godets d’or;

This, was the offering for the dedication of the altar in the day when it was anointed, from the princes of Israel, —twelve chargers of silver twelve tossing bowls of silver, twelve spoons of gold;

85 chaque plat d’argent pesait cent trente sicles, et chaque coupe soixante-dix; total de l’argent de ces ustensiles: deux mille quatre cent sicles, selon le sicle du sanctuaire; —

a hundred and thirty [shekels], each charger of silver, and seventy, each tossing bowl, —all the silver of the vessels, two thousand and four hundred [shekels], by the shekel of the sanctuary;

86 les douze godets d’or pleins de parfum, chacun de dix sicles, selon le sicle du sanctuaire; total de l’or des godets: cent vingt sicles. —

twelve spoons of gold full of incense, ten shekels each spoon by the shekel of the sanctuary, —all the gold of the spoons, a hundred and twenty [shekels].

87 Total des animaux pour l’holocauste: douze jeunes taureaux, douze béliers et douze agneaux d’un an, avec leurs oblations. Douze boucs pour le sacrifice pour le péché. —

All the herd for the ascending-sacrifice, —twelve bullocks twelve rams twelve he-lambs of the first year with their meal-offering, —twelve young he-goats for the bearing of sin;

88 Total des animaux pour le sacrifice pacifique: vingt-quatre bœufs, soixante béliers, soixante boucs et soixante agneaux d’un an. Tels furent les dons offerts pour la dédicace de l’autel, après qu’on l’eut oint.

and all the herd for the peace-offering, twenty-four bullocks sixty rams, sixty he-goats sixty he-lambs of the first year, —this, was the offering for the dedication of the altar, after it was anointed.

89 Lorsque Moïse entrait dans la tente de réunion pour parler avec Yahweh, il entendait la voix qui lui parlait de dessus le propitiatoire placé sur l’arche du témoignage, entre les deux chérubins. Et il lui parlait.

And when Moses entered into the tent of meeting, that He might speak with him, then heard he the Voice speaking unto him from off the propitiatory that was upon the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim, —so He spake unto him.
