Josué 19
1 La seconde part échut par le sort à Siméon, à la tribu des fils de Siméon, selon leurs familles: leur héritage fut au milieu de l’héritage des fils de Juda.
And the second lot came forth to Simeon, for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families; and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.
2 Ils eurent dans leur héritage: Bersabée, Sabée, Molada,
And they had in their inheritance Beer-sheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,
3 Haser-Sual, Bala, Asem,
and Hazar-Shual, and Balah, and Ezem,
4 Eltholad, Béthul, Harma,
and Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,
5 Siceleg, Beth-Marchaboth, Hasersusa,
and Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,
6 Beth-lebaoth et Sarohen: treize villes et leurs villages.
and Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteen cities and their hamlets;
7 Aïn, Remmon, Athar et Asan, quatre villes et leurs villages;
Ain, Rimmon, and Ether, and Ashan: four cities and their hamlets;
8 ainsi que tous les villages aux environs de ces villes, jusqu’à Baalath-Béer, qui est la Ramath du midi. — Tel fut l’héritage de la tribu des fils de Siméon selon leurs familles.
and all the hamlets that are round these cities to Baalath-beer, [that is] Ramah of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.
9 L’héritage des fils de Siméon fut pris sur la portion des fils de Juda; car la portion des fils de Juda était trop grande pour eux, et c’est au milieu de leur territoire que les fils de Siméon reçurent leur héritage.
Out of the lot of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too great for them, and the children of Simeon inherited within their inheritance.
10 La troisième part échut par le sort aux fils de Zabulon selon leurs familles; la frontière de leur héritage s’étendait jusqu’à Sarid.
And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families. And the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid;
11 Leur frontière montait vers l’occident, vers Mérala, touchait à Debbaseth, touchait au torrent qui coule devant Jéconam.
and their border went up westwards, and [to] Marealah, and reached to Dabbesheth, and reached to the torrent that is before Jokneam;
12 De Sarid, elle revenait à l’orient, vers le soleil levant, jusqu’à la frontière de Céseleth-Thabor, aboutissait vers Dabereth et montait à Japhiré.
and turned from Sarid eastward, toward the sun-rising, to the border of Chisloth-Tabor, and went out to Dabrath, and went up to Japhia;
13 De là, elle passait, vers l’orient, vers le soleil levant à Geth-Hépher, à Thacasin, et aboutissait à Remmon, qui confine à Noa.
and from thence it passed eastward toward the sun-rising to Gath-Hepher, to Eth-kazin, and went out to Rimmon which reaches to Neah;
14 La frontière tournait du côté du nord vers Hanathon, et aboutissait à la vallée de Jephtahel.
and the border turned round it northwards to Hannathon: and ended in the valley of Jiphthah-el; ...
15 Les villes étaient: Catheth, Naalol, Séméron, Jedala et Bethléhem: douze villes et leurs villages. —
and Kattath, and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Jidalah, and Beth-lehem: twelve cities and their hamlets.
16 Tel fut l’héritage des fils de Zabulon, selon leurs familles: ces villes et leurs villages.
This was the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.
17 La quatrième part échut par le sort à Issachar, aux fils d’Issachar, selon leurs familles.
The fourth lot came forth to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.
18 Leur frontière était Jezraël, Casaloth, Sunem,
And their territory was toward Jizreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,
19 Hapharaïm, Séon, Anaharath,
and Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,
20 Rabboth, Césion, Abès,
and Rabbith, and Kishion, and Ebez,
21 Ramèth, En-Gannim, En-Hadda et Beth-Phésès.
and Remeth, and En-gannim, and En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez;
22 La frontière touchait à Thabor, à Séhésima et à Beth-Samès, et aboutissait au Jourdain: seize villes et leurs villages. —
and the border reached to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities and their hamlets.
23 Tel fut l’héritage de la tribu des fils d’Issachar, selon leurs familles: les villes et leurs villages.
This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.
24 La cinquième part échut par le sort à la tribu des fils d’Aser, selon leurs familles.
And the fifth lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.
25 Leur frontière était Halcath, Chali, Béten, Axaph,
And their territory was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Acshaph,
26 Elmélech, Amaad et Messal; elle touchait, vers l’occident, au Carmel et à Sihor-Labanath;
and Allammelech, and Amead, and Mishal; and [the border] reached to Carmel westwards, and to Shihor-libnath,
27 puis elle tournait vers Beth-Dagon, touchait Zabulon et la vallée de Jephtahel, au nord de Beth-Emec et de Néhiel, et aboutissait à Caboul, à gauche,
and turned towards the sun-rising to Beth-Dagon, and reached to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthah-el northward [to] Beth-emek and Neiel, and went out to Cabul on the left,
28 et à Abran, Rohob, Hamon, et Cana, jusqu’à Sidon la Grande;
and Ebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, as far as great Zidon;
29 la frontière tournait ensuite vers Ramath jusqu’à la ville forte de Tyr et la frontière tournait vers Hosa, pour aboutir à la mer, près du district d’Achziba;
and the border turned to Ramah, and as far as the fortified city of Tyre; and the border turned to Hosah; and ended at the sea by the tract of country of Achzib;
30 de plus: Amma, Aphec et Rohob: vingt-deux villes et leurs villages. —
and Ummah, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities and their hamlets.
31 Tel fut l’héritage de la tribu des fils d’Aser. Selon leurs familles: ces villes et leurs villages.
This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.
32 La sixième part échut par le sort aux fils de Nephthali, selon leurs familles.
The sixth lot came forth to the children of Naphtali, for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
33 Leur frontière allait depuis Héleph, à partir du chêne qui est à Saananim, vers Adami-Néceb et Jebnaël, jusqu’à Lécum, et elle aboutissait au Jourdain;
And their border was from Heleph, from the oak of Zaanannim; and Adami-nekeb and Jabneel to Lakkum; and ended at the Jordan;
34 la frontière tournait vers l’occident à Azanoth-Thabor, et de là aboutissait à Hucuca; elle touchait à Zabulon au midi, à Aser à l’occident, et à Juda, près du Jourdain, vers le soleil levant.
and the border turned westwards to Aznoth-Tabor, and went out from thence to Hukkok, and reached to Zebulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west, and to Judah upon Jordan towards the sun-rising.
35 Les villes fortes étaient: Assédim, Ser, Emath, Reccath, Cénéreth,
And the fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,
36 Edéma, Arama, Asor,
and Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,
37 Cédès, Edraï, En-Hasor,
and Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-Hazor,
38 Jéron, Magdalel, Horem, Beth-Anath et Beth-Samès: dix-neuf villes et leurs villages. —
and Jiron, and Migdal-el, Horem, and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh: nineteen cities and their hamlets.
39 Tel fut l’héritage de la tribu des fils de Nephthali, selon leurs familles: les villes et leurs villages.
This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.
40 La septième part échut par le sort à la tribu des fils de Dan, selon leurs familles.
The seventh lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.
41 La frontière de leur héritage comprenait Saraa, Esthaol, Hir-Sémès,
And the territory of their inheritance was Zoreah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,
42 Sélébin, Ajalon, Jéthéla,
and Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jithlah,
43 Elon, Themna, Acron,
and Elon, and Timnathah, and Ekron,
44 Elthécé, Gebbéthon, Balaath,
and El-tekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,
45 Jud, Bené-Barach, Geth-Remmon;
and Jehud, and Beneberak, and Gath-Rimmon,
46 Mé-Jarcon et Arécon, avec le territoire vis-à-vis de Joppé.
and Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border over against Japho.
47 Le territoire des fils de Dan s’étendit au dehors de chez eux; car les fils de Dan montèrent et combattirent contre Lésem; ils s’en emparèrent et la frappèrent du tranchant de l’épée; en ayant pris possession, ils s’y établirent, et l’appelèrent Dan, du nom de Dan, leur père. —
And the border of the children of Dan ended with these; and the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession of it, and dwelt in it, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.
48 Tel fut l’héritage de la tribu des fils de Dan, selon leurs familles: les villes et leurs villages.
This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.
49 Lorsqu’ils eurent achevé de faire le partage du pays, selon ses limites, les enfants d’Israël donnèrent à Josué, fils de Nun, un héritage au milieu d’eux.
And they ended dividing the land for inheritance according to its borders. And the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them.
50 Sur l’ordre de Yahweh, ils lui donnèrent la ville qu’il demanda, Thamnath-Saré, dans la montagne d’Ephraïm. Josué rebâtit cette ville et il y demeura.
According to the word of Jehovah they gave him the city that he asked, Timnath-serah in the hill-country of Ephraim; and he built the city, and dwelt in it.
51 Tels sont les héritages que le prêtre Eléazar, Josué, fils de Nun, et les chefs de famille des tribus des enfants d’Israël répartirent par le sort à Silo, devant Yahweh, à l’entrée de la tente de réunion. Ils achevèrent ainsi le partage du pays.
These were the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed by lot in Shiloh before Jehovah, at the entrance of the tent of meeting. And they ended dividing the land.
