Jérémie 35
1 La parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie de la part de Yahweh, au temps de Joakim, fils de Josias, roi de Juda, en ces termes:
The word which it came to Jeremiah from with Yahweh in [the] days of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah saying.
2 Va vers la famille des Réchabites, et parle-leur. Tu les amènera à la maison de Yahweh, dans une des chambres, et tu leur offriras du vin à boire.
Go to [the] house of the Rechabites and you will speak them and you will bring them [the] house of Yahweh to one of the rooms and you will give to drink them wine.
3 Je pris donc Jézonias, fils de Jérémie, fils de Habsanias, ses frères, tous ses fils et toute la famille des Réchabites;
And I took Jaazaniah [the] son of Jeremiah [the] son Habazziniah and brothers his and all children his and all [the] house of the Rechabites.
4 et je les fis entrer dans la maison de Yahweh, dans la chambre des fils de Hanan, fils de Jegdélias, homme de Dieu, près de la chambre des chefs, et au-dessus de la chambre de Maasias, fils de Sellum, garde du seuil.
And I brought them [the] house of Yahweh to [the] room of [the] sons of Hanan [the] son Igdaliah [the] man of God which [was] beside [the] room of the officials which [was] from above [the] room of Maaseiah [the] son of Shallum [the] keeper of the threshold.
5 Je plaçai devant les fils de la famille des Réchabites des vases remplis de vin et des coupes, et je leur dis: « Buvez du vin. »
And I put before - [the] sons of [the] house of the Rechabites bowls full wine and cups and I said to them drink wine.
6 Mais ils dirent: « Nous ne buvons pas de vin; car Jonadab, fils de Réchab, notre père; nous a donné ce commandement: Vous ne boirez pas de vin, ni vous, ni vos fils, à jamais;
And they said not we drink wine for Jonadab [the] son of Rechab ancestor our he commanded to us saying not you must drink wine you and children your until perpetuity.
7 et vous ne bâtirez pas de maisons, vous ne sémerez pas; vous ne planterez pas de vignes et vous n’en posséderez point; mais vous habiterez sous des tentes pendant tous vos jours, afin que vous viviez de nombreux jours sur la terre où vous êtes comme des étrangers.
And a house not you must build and seed not you must sow and a vineyard not you must plant and not it will belong to you for in tents you will dwell all days your so that you may live days many on [the] surface of the ground where you [are] sojourning there.
8 Nous avons donc observé la parole de Jonadab, fils de Réchab, notre père, en tout ce qu’il nous a commandé, en sorte que nous ne buvons jamais de vin, nous, nos femmes, nos fils, nos filles;
And we have listened to [the] voice of Jonadab [the] son of Rechab ancestor our to all that he commanded us to not to drink wine all days our we wives our sons our and daughters our.
9 en sorte que nous ne bâtissons pas de maisons pour y demeurer, que nous n’avons ni vignes, ni champs, ni terres ensemencées.
And to not to build houses to dwell in we and vineyard and field and seed not it belongs to us.
10 Nous habitons sous des tentes; nous obéissons et nous agissons selon tout ce que Jonadab, notre père, nous a commandé.
And we have dwelt in tents and we have obeyed and we have done according to all that he commanded us Jonadab ancestor our.
11 Et quand Nabuchodonosor, roi de Babylone, est monté contre ce pays, nous avons dit: Venez et retirons-nous à Jérusalem, devant l’armée des Chaldéens et l’armée de Syrie; et nous avons demeuré dans Jérusalem. »
And it was when came up Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon against the land and we said come so we may go Jerusalem because of [the] army of the Chaldeans and from before [the] army of Aram and we have dwelt in Jerusalem.
12 Et la parole de Yahweh fut adressée à Jérémie en ces termes:
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah saying.
13 Ainsi parle Yahweh des armées, Dieu d’Israël: Va, et dis aux hommes de Juda et aux habitants de Jérusalem: N’accepterez-vous pas l’instruction en écoutant mes paroles, — oracle de Yahweh?
Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel go and you will say to [the] man of Judah and to [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem ¿ not will you accept correction to listen to words my [the] utterance of Yahweh.
14 On a observé les paroles de Jonadab, fils de Réchab; il a ordonné à ses fils de ne pas boire de vin, et ils n’en ont pas bu jusqu’à ce jour, par obéissance à l’ordre de leur père; et moi, je vous ai parlé, parlé dès le matin, et vous ne m’avez pas écouté!
It was carried out [the] words of Jonadab [the] son of Rechab which he commanded children his to not to drink wine and not they have drunk until the day this for they have obeyed [the] commandment of ancestor their and I I have spoken to you rising early and speaking and not you have listened to me.
15 Je vous ai envoyé tous mes serviteurs, les prophètes, les envoyant dès le matin, pour vous dire: Revenez chacun de votre mauvaise voie, amendez votre conduite, n’allez pas après d’autres dieux pour les servir; et vous habiterez le pays que je vous ai donné, à vous et à vos pères. Mais vous n’avez pas prêté l’oreille et vous ne m’avez pas écouté.
And I sent to you all servants my the prophets - rising early and sending - saying turn back please everyone from way his evil and make good deeds your and may not you walk after gods other to serve them and dwell to the land which I gave to you and to ancestors your and not you inclined ear your and not you listened to me.
16 Oui, les fils de Jonadab, fils de Réchab, ont observé le commandement que leur a donné leur père; et ce peuple ne m’écoute pas!
For they have carried out [the] sons of Jonadab [the] son of Rechab [the] commandment of ancestor their which he commanded them and the people this not they have listened to me.
17 C’est pourquoi ainsi parle Yahweh, Dieu des armées, Dieu d’Israël: Voici que je vais faire venir sur Juda et sur tous les habitants de Jérusalem tous les maux dont j’ai parlé à leur sujet, parce que je leur ai parlé, et ils ne m’ont pas écouté; je les ai appelés, et ils ne m’ont pas répondu.
Therefore thus he says Yahweh [the] God of hosts [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to bring to Judah and to all [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem all the calamity which I spoke on them because I spoke to them and not they listened and I called to them and not they answered.
18 Et Jérémie dit à la famille des Réchabites: « Ainsi, parle Yahweh des armées, Dieu d’Israël: Parce que vous avez obéi à l’ordre de Jonadab, votre père, et que vous avez gardé tous ses commandements et agi selon tout ce qu’il vous a prescrit,
And to [the] house of the Rechabites he said Jeremiah thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel because that you have listened to [the] commandment of Jonadab ancestor your and you have kept all commandments his and you have done according to all that he commanded you.
19 à cause de cela, ainsi parle Yahweh des armées, Dieu d’Israël: Jamais Jonadab, fils de Réchab, ne manquera de descendants qui se tiennent en ma présence. »
Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel not it will be cut off a man to Jonadab [the] son of Rechab [who] will stand before me all the days.
