Zacharie 14

1 Voici venir un jour de Yahvé, où votre butin sera partagé au milieu de vous.

Behold, the days of the Lord come, and your spoils shall be divided in you.

2 Car je rassemblerai toutes les nations contre Jérusalem pour qu'elles combattent; la ville sera prise, les maisons pillées, les femmes violées. La moitié de la ville partira en captivité, et le reste du peuple ne sera pas retranché de la ville.

And I will gather all the Gentiles to Jerusalem to war, and the city shall be taken, and the houses plundered, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, but the rest of my people shall not be utterly cut off from the city.

3 Alors Yahvé sortira et combattra contre ces nations, comme au jour du combat.

And the Lord shall go forth, and fight with those Gentiles as when he fought in the day of war.

4 Ses pieds se tiendront en ce jour-là sur la montagne des Oliviers, qui est devant Jérusalem à l'est; et la montagne des Oliviers se fendra en deux d'est en ouest, formant une très grande vallée. La moitié de la montagne se déplacera vers le nord, et l'autre moitié vers le sud.

And his feet shall stand in that day on the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave asunder, half of it toward the east and the west, a very great division; and half the mountain shall lean to the north, and half of it to the south.

5 Vous fuirez par la vallée de mes montagnes, car la vallée des montagnes s'étendra jusqu'à Azel. Oui, vous fuirez, comme vous avez fui avant le tremblement de terre, à l'époque d'Ozias, roi de Juda. Yahvé mon Dieu viendra, et tous les saints avec vous.

And the valley of my mountains shall be closed up, and the valley of the mountains shall be joined on to Jasod, and shall be blocked up as it was blocked up in the days of the earthquake, in the days of Ozias king of Juda; and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with him.

6 Il arrivera en ce jour-là qu'il n'y aura ni lumière, ni froid, ni gelée.

And it shall come to pass in that day that there shall be no light,

7 Ce sera un jour unique, connu de Yahvé - ni jour, ni nuit - mais il arrivera qu'à l'heure du soir il y aura de la lumière.

and there shall be for one day cold and frost, and that day [shall be] known to the Lord, and [it shall] not [be] day nor night: but towards evening it shall be light.

8 En ce jour-là, des eaux vives sortiront de Jérusalem, pour moitié vers la mer orientale et pour moitié vers la mer occidentale. Il en sera ainsi en été et en hiver.

And in that day living water shall come forth out of Jerusalem; half of it toward the former sea, and half of it toward the latter sea: and so shall it be in summer and spring.

9 Yahvé sera roi sur toute la terre. En ce jour-là, Yahvé sera unique, et son nom sera unique.

And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day there shall be one Lord, and his name one,

10 Tout le pays sera rendu semblable à la plaine, depuis Guéba jusqu'à Rimmon, au sud de Jérusalem; elle s'élèvera et habitera à sa place, depuis la porte de Benjamin jusqu'à la place de la première porte, jusqu'à la porte d'angle, et depuis la tour de Hananel jusqu'aux pressoirs du roi.

compassing all the earth, and the wilderness from Gabe to Remmon south of Jerusalem. And Rama shall remain in its place. From the gate of Benjamin to the place of the first gate, to the gate of the corners, and to the tower of Anameel, as far as the king's wine presses,

11 Les hommes y habiteront, et il n'y aura plus de malédiction; mais Jérusalem habitera en sécurité.

they shall dwell in the city; and there shall be no more any curse, and Jerusalem shall dwell securely.

12 Voici la plaie dont Yahvé frappera tous les peuples qui auront combattu contre Jérusalem: leur chair se consumera pendant qu'ils se tiendront sur leurs pieds, leurs yeux se consumeront dans leurs orbites, et leur langue se consumera dans leur bouche.

And this shall be the overthrow with which the Lord will strike all the nations, as many as have fought against Jerusalem; their flesh shall consume away while they are standing upon their feet, and their eyes shall melt out of their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

13 En ce jour-là, il y aura parmi eux une grande panique de la part de l'Éternel; chacun saisira la main de son prochain, et sa main se lèvera contre la main de son prochain.

And there shall be in that day a great panic from the Lord upon them; and they shall lay hold every man of the hand of his neighbor, and his hand shall be clasped with the hand of his neighbor.

14 Juda aussi combattra à Jérusalem; et les richesses de toutes les nations d'alentour seront rassemblées: or, argent et vêtements, en grande abondance.

Juda also shall fight in Jerusalem; and [God] shall gather the strength of all the nations round about, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.

15 Une telle plaie tombera sur le cheval, sur la mule, sur le chameau, sur l'âne et sur tous les animaux qui seront dans ces camps.

And this shall be the overthrow of the horses, and mules, and camels, and asses, and all the beasts that are in those camps, according to this overthrow.

16 Il arrivera que tous ceux qui resteront de toutes les nations qui sont venues contre Jérusalem monteront d'année en année pour se prosterner devant le roi, l'Yahvé des armées, et pour célébrer la fête des tentes.

And it shall come to pass, [that] whoever shall be left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem, shall even come up every year to worship the king, the Lord Almighty, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

17 Celui de toutes les familles de la terre qui ne montera pas à Jérusalem pour se prosterner devant le roi, l'Éternel des armées, celui-là ne recevra pas de pluie.

And it shall come to pass, [that] whoever of all the families of the earth shall not come up to Jerusalem to worship the king, the Lord Almighty, even these shall be added to the others.

18 Si la famille d'Égypte ne monte pas et ne vient pas, il ne pleuvra pas non plus sur elle. Ce sera la plaie dont Yahvé frappera les nations qui ne monteront pas pour célébrer la fête des tabernacles.

And if the family of Egypt shall not go up, nor come; then upon them shall be the overthrow with which the Lord shall strike all the nations, whichever of them shall not come up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

19 Ce sera le châtiment de l'Égypte et le châtiment de toutes les nations qui ne monteront pas pour célébrer la fête des kermesses.

This shall be the sin of Egypt, and the sin of all the nations, whoever shall not come up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

20 En ce jour-là, on inscrira sur les cloches des chevaux: « SAINTETÉ À YAHVÉ »; et les marmites de la maison de Yahvé seront comme les coupes devant l'autel.

In that day there shall be upon the bridle of every horse Holiness to the Lord Almighty; and the caldrons in the house of the Lord shall be as bowls before the altar.

21 Oui, toutes les marmites de Jérusalem et de Juda seront consacrées à l'Éternel des armées; et tous ceux qui sacrifient viendront s'en servir et cuisineront dedans. En ce jour-là, il n'y aura plus de Cananéen dans la maison de l'Éternel des armées.

And every pot in Jerusalem and in Juda shall be holy to the Lord Almighty: and all that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and shall seethe [meat] in them: and in that day there shall be no more the Chananite in the house of the Lord Almighty.
