Apocalypse 20
1 Je vis descendre du ciel un ange qui avait la clef de l'abîme et une grande chaîne dans sa main. (Abyssos g12)
And I saw a messenger, coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain upon his hand; (Abyssos g12)
2 Il saisit le dragon, le serpent ancien, qui est le diable et Satan, et qui séduit toute la terre habitée; il le lia pour mille ans,
and he laid hold of the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is Adversary and the Accuser, and bound him for a thousand years, —
3 le jeta dans l'abîme, le ferma et le scella sur lui, afin qu'il ne séduise plus les nations jusqu'à ce que les mille ans soient accomplis. Après cela, il doit être libéré pour un court moment. (Abyssos g12)
and cast him into the abyss, and fastened and sealed [it] over him, —that he might not deceive the nations any more, until the thousand years, should be ended: after these, must he be loosed for a short time. (Abyssos g12)
4 Je vis des trônes, et ils s'assirent dessus, et le jugement leur fut donné. Je vis les âmes de ceux qui avaient été décapités pour le témoignage de Jésus et pour la parole de Dieu, et de ceux qui n'avaient pas adoré la bête ni son image, et qui n'avaient pas reçu la marque sur leur front et sur leur main. Ils vécurent et régnèrent avec le Christ pendant mille ans.
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and sentence of judgment was given unto them; and [I saw] the souls of them who had been beheaded because of the witness of Jesus and because of the word of God, and such as had not done homage unto the wild-beast or unto his image, nor had received the mark upon their forehead or upon their hand; and they lived and reigned with the Christ, for a thousand years.
5 Le reste des morts ne vivait pas avant que les mille ans ne soient écoulés. C'est la première résurrection.
The rest of the dead, lived not, until the thousand years, were ended. This, is the first resurrection.
6 Béni et saint est celui qui a part à la première résurrection. Sur eux, la seconde mort n'a aucun pouvoir, mais ils seront sacrificateurs de Dieu et du Christ, et ils régneront avec lui pendant mille ans.
Happy and holy, is he that hath part in the first resurrection: upon these, the second death, hath no authority; but they shall be priests of God and of the Christ, and shall reign with him for the thousand years.
7 Et après les mille ans, Satan sera libéré de sa prison
And, as soon as the thousand years, shall be ended, the Accuser shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 et il sortira pour séduire les nations qui sont aux quatre coins de la terre, Gog et Magog, afin de les rassembler pour la guerre, dont le nombre est comme le sable de la mer.
and will go forth to deceive the nations that are in the four corners of the earth, the Gog and Magog, to gather them together unto the battle—the number of whom, is as the sand of the sea.
9 Ils montèrent sur la largeur de la terre et entourèrent le camp des saints et la ville bien-aimée. Le feu descendit du ciel d'auprès de Dieu et les dévora.
And they came up over the breadth of the land, and surrounded the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. And there came down fire out of heaven, and devoured them;
11 Je vis un grand trône blanc et celui qui était assis dessus, devant la face duquel la terre et le ciel s'enfuirent. Il n'y avait pas de place pour eux.
And I saw a great white throne, and him that was sitting thereon, from whose face fled the earth and heaven, and, place, was not found for them.
12 Je vis les morts, les grands et les petits, debout devant le trône, et ils ouvrirent des livres. Un autre livre fut ouvert, qui est le livre de vie. Et les morts furent jugés d'après ce qui était écrit dans les livres, selon leurs œuvres.
And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and, books, were opened, and, another book, was opened, which is, the book, of life; and the dead, were judged, out of the things written in the books, according to their works.
13 La mer rendit les morts qui étaient en elle. La mort et le séjour des morts ont rendu les morts qui étaient en eux. Ils furent jugés, chacun selon ses œuvres. (Hadēs g86)
And the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and, death and hades, gave up the dead that were in them; and they were judged, each one, according to their works. (Hadēs g86)
