Psaumes 71
1 En toi, Yahvé, je trouve refuge. Ne me laisse jamais être déçu.
In thee, O Lord, I trust: let me neuer be ashamed.
2 Délivre-moi dans ta justice, et sauve-moi. Prêtez l'oreille et sauvez-moi.
Rescue mee and deliuer me in thy righteousnes: incline thine eare vnto me and saue me.
3 Sois pour moi un rocher de refuge où je puisse toujours aller. Donne l'ordre de me sauver, car tu es mon rocher et ma forteresse.
Be thou my strong rocke, whereunto I may alway resort: thou hast giuen commandement to saue me: for thou art my rocke, and my fortresse.
4 Sauve-moi, mon Dieu, de la main des méchants, de la main de l'homme injuste et cruel.
Deliuer mee, O my God, out of the hande of the wicked: out of the hande of the euill and cruell man.
5 Car tu es mon espérance, Seigneur Yahvé, ma confiance de ma jeunesse.
For thou art mine hope, O Lord God, euen my trust from my youth.
6 J'ai compté sur toi depuis le ventre de ma mère. Tu es celui qui m'a sorti du ventre de ma mère. Je vous louerai toujours.
Vpon thee haue I beene stayed from the wombe: thou art he that tooke me out of my mothers bowels: my praise shalbe alwaies of thee.
7 Je suis une merveille pour beaucoup, mais tu es mon fort refuge.
I am become as it were a monster vnto many: but thou art my sure trust.
8 Ma bouche sera remplie de tes louanges, avec votre honneur toute la journée.
Let my mouth be filled with thy praise, and with thy glory euery day.
9 Ne me rejette pas dans ma vieillesse. Ne m'abandonne pas quand mes forces faiblissent.
Cast mee not off in the time of age: forsake me not when my strength faileth.
10 Car mes ennemis parlent de moi. Ceux qui veillent sur mon âme conspirent ensemble,
For mine enemies speake of mee, and they that lay waite for my soule, take their counsell together,
11 disant: « Dieu l'a abandonné. Poursuivez-le et prenez-le, car personne ne le sauvera. »
Saying, God hath forsaken him: pursue and take him, for there is none to deliuer him.
12 Dieu, ne t'éloigne pas de moi. Mon Dieu, dépêchez-vous de m'aider.
Goe not farre from me, O God: my God, haste thee to helpe me.
13 Que mes accusateurs soient déçus et consumés. Qu'ils soient couverts d'opprobre et de mépris ceux qui veulent me nuire.
Let them be confounded and consumed that are against my soule: let them be couered with reproofe and confusion, that seeke mine hurt.
14 Mais j'espère toujours, et s'ajoutera à toutes vos louanges.
But I will waite continually, and will praise thee more and more.
15 Ma bouche racontera ta justice, et de votre salut toute la journée, bien que je n'en connaisse pas toute la mesure.
My mouth shall daily rehearse thy righteousnesse, and thy saluation: for I knowe not the nomber.
16 Je viendrai avec les actes puissants du Seigneur Yahvé. Je ferai mention de ta justice, même de la tienne seule.
I will goe forwarde in the strength of the Lord God, and will make mention of thy righteousnesse, euen of thine onely.
17 Dieu, tu m'as enseigné dès ma jeunesse. Jusqu'à présent, j'ai déclaré tes merveilles.
O God, thou hast taught me from my youth euen vntill nowe: therefore will I tell of thy wonderous workes,
18 Oui, même quand je serai vieux et que j'aurai des cheveux blancs, Dieu, ne m'abandonne pas, jusqu'à ce que je déclare ta force à la prochaine génération, ta puissance à tous ceux qui viendront.
Yea, euen vnto mine olde age and graie head, O God: forsake me not, vntill I haue declared thine arme vnto this generation, and thy power to all them, that shall come.
19 Dieu, ta justice atteint aussi les cieux. Vous avez fait de grandes choses. Dieu, qui est comme toi?
And thy righteousnes, O God, I wil exalt on high: for thou hast done great thinges: O God, who is like vnto thee!
20 Toi, qui nous as fait connaître de nombreuses et amères souffrances, tu me laisseras vivre. Tu nous feras remonter des profondeurs de la terre.
Which hast shewed me great troubles and aduersities, but thou wilt returne, and reuiue me, and wilt come againe, and take mee vp from the depth of the earth.
21 Augmentez mon honneur et me réconforter à nouveau.
Thou wilt increase mine honour, and returne and comfort me.
22 Je te louerai aussi avec la harpe pour ta fidélité, mon Dieu. Je te chante des louanges avec la lyre, Saint d'Israël.
Therefore will I praise thee for thy faithfulnesse, O God, vpon instrument and viole: vnto thee will I sing vpon the harpe, O Holy one of Israel.
23 Mes lèvres crient de joie! Mon âme, que tu as rachetée, te chante des louanges!
My lippes will reioyce when I sing vnto thee, and my soule, which thou hast deliuered.
24 Ma langue parlera aussi de ta justice tout le jour, car ils sont déçus, et ils sont confus, qui veulent me faire du mal.
My tongue also shall talke of thy righteousnesse daily: for they are confounded and brought vnto shame, that seeke mine hurt.
