Psaumes 62
1 Pour le chef musicien. A Jeduthun. Un psaume de David. Mon âme repose en Dieu seul. Mon salut vient de lui.
For the end, a Psalm of David for Idithun. Shall not my soul be subjected to God? for of him is my salvation.
2 Lui seul est mon rocher, mon salut et ma forteresse. Je ne serai jamais fortement ébranlé.
For he is my God, and my savior; my helper, I shall not be moved very much.
3 Combien de temps allez-vous agresser un homme? Vous voulez tous le jeter à terre, comme un mur penché, comme une clôture chancelante?
How long will you assault a man? you are all slaughtering as with a bowed wall and a broken hedge.
4 Ils ont bien l'intention de le jeter à bas de sa position élevée. Ils se délectent de mensonges. Ils bénissent de la bouche, mais ils maudissent intérieurement. (Selah)
They only took counsel to set at nothing mine honor: I ran in thirst: with their mouth they blessed, but with their heart they cursed. (Pause)
5 Mon âme, attends en silence Dieu seul, car c'est de lui que je m'attends.
Nevertheless do you, my soul, be subjected to God; for of him [is] my patient hope.
6 Lui seul est mon rocher, mon salut, ma forteresse. Je ne serai pas ébranlé.
For he [is] my God and my Saviour; my helper, I shall not be moved.
7 Mon salut et mon honneur sont auprès de Dieu. Le rocher de ma force, et mon refuge, est en Dieu.
In God [is] my salvation and my glory: [he is] the God of my help, and my hope is in God.
8 Ayez confiance en lui en tout temps, vous autres. Répandez votre cœur devant lui. Dieu est un refuge pour nous. (Selah)
Hope in him, all you congregation of the people; pour out your hearts before him, for God is our helper. (Pause)
9 Les hommes de peu de valeur ne sont qu'un souffle, et les hommes de haut rang sont un mensonge. Dans les soldes, ils vont augmenter. Ils sont ensemble plus légers qu'un souffle.
But the sons of men are vain; the sons of men are false, so as to be deceitful in the balances; they are all alike [formed] out of vanity.
10 Ne vous fiez pas à l'oppression. Ne devenez pas vaniteux dans le vol. Si les richesses augmentent, n'y attachez pas votre cœur.
Trust not in unrighteousness, and lust not after robberies: if wealth should flow in, set not your heart upon it.
11 Dieu a parlé une fois; J'ai entendu cela deux fois, ce pouvoir appartient à Dieu.
God has spoken once, [and] I have heard these two things, that power is of God;
12 A toi aussi, Seigneur, appartient la bonté, car tu récompenses chaque homme selon son travail.
and mercy is your, O Lord; for you will recompense every one according to his works.
