Psaumes 28
1 Par David. C'est à toi, Yahvé, que je fais appel. Mon rocher, ne sois pas sourd à mes paroles, de peur que, si vous vous taisez avec moi, Je deviendrais comme ceux qui descendent dans la fosse.
[A Psalm] of David. To you, O Lord, have I cried; my God, be not silent toward me: lest you be silent toward me, and so I should be likened to them that go down to the pit.
2 Écoute la voix de mes requêtes, quand je crie vers toi, quand je lève mes mains vers ton lieu très saint.
Listen to the voice of my supplication, when I pray to you, when I lift up my hands toward your holy temple.
3 Ne m'entraîne pas avec les méchants, avec les ouvriers de l'iniquité qui parlent de paix avec leurs voisins, mais la malice est dans leurs cœurs.
Draw not away my soul with sinners, and destroy me not with the workers of iniquity, who speak peace with their neighbors, but evils are in their hearts.
4 Rendez-leur selon leurs œuvres et selon la méchanceté de leurs actions. Donnez-leur selon l'opération de leurs mains. Rendez-leur ce qu'ils méritent.
Give them according to their works, and according to the wickedness of their devices: give them according to the works of their hands; render their recompense to them.
5 Parce qu'ils ne respectent pas les œuvres de Yahvé, ni l'opération de ses mains, il les brisera et ne les construira pas.
Because they have not attended to the works of the Lord, even to the works of his hands, you shall pull them down, and shall not build them up.
6 Béni soit Yahvé, car il a entendu la voix de mes requêtes.
Blessed be the Lord, for he has listened to the voice of my petition.
7 Yahvé est ma force et mon bouclier. Mon cœur a eu confiance en lui, et je suis aidé. C'est pourquoi mon cœur se réjouit grandement. Avec ma chanson, je le remercierai.
The Lord is my helper and my defender; my heart has hoped in him, and I am helped: my flesh has revived, and willingly will I give praise to him.
8 Yahvé est leur force. Il est une forteresse de salut pour ses oints.
The Lord is the strength of his people, and the saving defender of his anointed.
9 Sauve ton peuple, et bénis ton héritage. Soyez aussi leur berger, et les soutenir pour toujours.
Save your people, and bless your inheritance: and take care of them, and lift them up for ever.
