< Psaumes 26 >

1 Par David. Juge-moi, Yahvé, car j'ai marché dans mon intégrité. Moi aussi, j'ai mis ma confiance en Yahvé, sans faiblir.
[A Psalm] of David. Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity, and I have confided in Jehovah: I shall not slip.
2 Examine-moi, Yahvé, et mets-moi à l'épreuve. Essayez mon cœur et mon esprit.
Prove me, Jehovah, and test me; try my reins and my heart:
3 Car ta bonté est devant mes yeux. J'ai marché dans ta vérité.
For thy loving-kindness is before mine eyes, and I have walked in thy truth.
4 Je ne me suis pas assis avec des hommes trompeurs, Je n'irai pas non plus avec les hypocrites.
I have not sat with vain persons, neither have I gone in with dissemblers;
5 Je déteste l'assemblée des méchants, et ne s'assiéra pas avec les méchants.
I have hated the congregation of evil-doers, and I have not sat with the wicked.
6 Je me laverai les mains en toute innocence, alors je tournerai autour de ton autel, Yahvé,
I will wash my hands in innocency, and will encompass thine altar, O Jehovah,
7 pour faire entendre la voix de l'action de grâce. et raconter toutes vos actions merveilleuses.
That I may cause the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, and declare all thy marvellous works.
8 Yahvé, j'aime la demeure de ta maison, le lieu où réside ta gloire.
Jehovah, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.
9 Ne rassemble pas mon âme avec les pécheurs, ni ma vie avec des hommes assoiffés de sang
Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with men of blood;
10 dans les mains duquel se trouve la méchanceté; leur main droite est pleine de pots-de-vin.
In whose hands are evil devices, and their right hand is full of bribes.
11 Quant à moi, je marcherai dans mon intégrité. Rachetez-moi, et soyez miséricordieux envers moi.
But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity. Redeem me, and be gracious unto me.
12 Mon pied se tient en équilibre. Dans les congrégations, je bénirai Yahvé.
My foot standeth in an even place; in the congregations will I bless Jehovah.
