Psaumes 25
1 Par David. Vers toi, Yahvé, j'élève mon âme.
Unto the end, a psalm for David. To thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.
2 Mon Dieu, je me suis confié à toi. Ne me laisse pas avoir honte. Ne laisse pas mes ennemis triompher de moi.
In thee, O my God, I put my trust; let me not be ashamed.
3 Oui, celui qui t'attend n'aura pas à rougir. Ceux qui trahissent sans raison seront honteux.
Neither let my enemies laugh at me: for none of them that wait on thee shall be confounded.
4 Montre-moi tes voies, Yahvé. Apprenez-moi vos chemins.
Let all them be confounded that act unjust things without cause. Shew, O Lord, thy ways to me, and teach me thy paths.
5 Guide-moi dans ta vérité, et enseigne-moi, car tu es le Dieu de mon salut. Je t'attends toute la journée.
Direct me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art God my Saviour; and on thee have I waited all the day long.
6 Yahvé, souviens-toi de ta tendresse et de ta bonté, car ils sont d'un autre temps.
Remember, O Lord, thy bowels of compassion; and thy mercies that are from the beginning of the world.
7 Ne te souviens pas des péchés de ma jeunesse, ni de mes transgressions. Souviens-toi de moi selon ta bonté, pour l'amour de ta bonté, Yahvé.
The sins of my youth and my ignorances do not remember. According to thy mercy remember thou me: for thy goodness’ sake, O Lord.
8 Yahvé est bon et droit, c'est pourquoi il instruira les pécheurs dans la voie.
The Lord is sweet and righteous: therefore he will give a law to sinners in the way.
9 Il guidera les humbles dans la justice. Il enseignera sa voie aux humbles.
He will guide the mild in judgment: he will teach the meek his ways.
10 Tous les chemins de l'Éternel sont la bonté et la vérité. à ceux qui gardent son alliance et ses témoignages.
All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth, to them that seek after his covenant and his testimonies.
11 A cause de ton nom, Yahvé, pardonnez mon iniquité, car elle est grande.
For thy name’s sake, O Lord, thou wilt pardon my sin: for it is great.
12 Quel est l'homme qui craint Yahvé? Il l'instruira dans la voie qu'il choisira.
Who is the man that feareth the Lord? He hath appointed him a law in the way he hath chosen.
13 Son âme reposera en paix. Sa progéniture héritera de la terre.
His soul shall dwell in good things: and his seed shall inherit the land.
14 L'amitié de Yahvé est avec ceux qui le craignent. Il leur montrera son alliance.
The Lord is a firmament to them that fear him: and his covenant shall be made manifest to them.
15 Mes yeux sont toujours fixés sur Yahvé, car il arrachera mes pieds du filet.
My eyes are ever towards the Lord: for he shall pluck my feet out of the snare.
16 Tournez-vous vers moi, et ayez pitié de moi, car je suis désolée et affligée.
Look thou upon me, and have mercy on me; for I am alone and poor.
17 Les troubles de mon cœur s'élargissent. Oh, sors-moi de ma détresse.
The troubles of my heart are multiplied: deliver me from my necessities.
18 Considérez mon affliction et mon travail. Pardonnez tous mes péchés.
See my abjection and my labour; and forgive me all my sins.
19 Considérez mes ennemis, car ils sont nombreux. Ils me haïssent d'une haine cruelle.
Consider my enemies for they are multiplied, and have hated me with an unjust hatred.
20 Oh, garde mon âme, et délivre-moi. Que je ne sois pas déçu, car je me réfugie en toi.
Keep thou my soul, and deliver me: I shall not be ashamed, for I have hoped in thee.
21 Que l'intégrité et la droiture me préservent, car je t'attends.
The innocent and the upright have adhered to me: because I have waited on thee.
22 Dieu, rachète Israël de tous ses problèmes.
Deliver Israel, O God, from all his tribulations.
