Psaumes 15

1 Un psaume de David. Yahvé, qui habitera dans ton sanctuaire? Qui vivra sur ta sainte colline?

“A psalm of David.” Lord, who may sojourn in thy tent? who may dwell on thy holy mount?

2 Celui qui marche sans reproche et fait ce qui est juste, et dit la vérité dans son cœur;

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart;

3 celui qui ne calomnie pas avec sa langue, ni ne fait de mal à son ami, ni ne lance d'injures contre son prochain;

That uttereth no calumny with his tongue, that doth no evil to his neighbor, and bringeth no reproach on his fellow-man;

4 aux yeux duquel un homme vil est méprisé, mais qui honore ceux qui craignent Yahvé; celui qui tient un serment même quand ça fait mal, et qui ne change pas;

In whose eyes the despicable is despised; but that honoreth those who fear the Lord; that sweareth to his own injury, and changeth not;

5 celui qui ne prête pas son argent à l'usure, ni prendre un pot-de-vin contre un innocent. Celui qui fait ces choses ne sera jamais ébranlé.

That putteth not out his money for interest, and taketh no bribe against the innocent. He that doth these things shall not be moved to eternity.
