Psaumes 119
1 ALEPH Heureux ceux dont les voies sont irréprochables, qui marchent selon la loi de Yahvé.
ALEPH. Happy are they whose way is perfect, who walk in the law of the Lord.
2 Heureux ceux qui gardent ses statuts, qui le cherchent de tout leur cœur.
Happy are they who keep his testimonies, that seek him with all their heart.
3 Oui, ils ne font rien de mal. Ils marchent dans ses voies.
They also commit no injustice; in his ways do they walk.
4 Tu as ordonné tes préceptes, que nous devons leur obéir pleinement.
Thou thyself hast commanded us thy precepts, that we might keep [them] diligently.
5 Oh, si mes voies étaient fermes pour obéir à tes statuts!
Oh that my ways were firmly directed to observe thy statutes!
6 Alors je ne serais pas déçu, quand je considère tous tes commandements.
Then would I not be made ashamed, while I look at all thy commandments.
7 Je te louerai avec droiture de cœur, quand j'apprends tes jugements justes.
I will thank thee with uprightness of heart, when I learn thy righteous ordinances.
8 J'observerai tes statuts. Ne m'abandonne pas complètement. BETH
Thy statutes will I observe: oh forsake me not too greatly.
9 Comment un jeune homme peut-il garder sa voie pure? En vivant selon ta parole.
BETH. Wherewithal shall a youth keep his way pure? by guarding it according to thy word.
10 Je t'ai cherché de tout mon cœur. Ne me laisse pas m'éloigner de tes commandements.
With all my heart have I sought thee: oh let me not wander astray from thy commandments.
11 J'ai caché ta parole dans mon cœur, pour ne pas pécher contre toi.
In my heart have I treasured up thy saying, in order that I may not sin against thee.
12 Béni sois-tu, Yahvé. Apprends-moi tes statuts.
Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.
13 Avec mes lèvres, J'ai déclaré toutes les ordonnances de ta bouche.
With my lips have I related all the ordinances of thy mouth.
14 Je me suis réjoui sur le chemin de tes témoignages, autant que dans toutes les richesses.
On the way of thy testimonies have I been glad, as over all wealth.
15 Je méditerai sur tes préceptes, et réfléchissez à votre façon de faire.
On thy precepts will I meditate, and direct my look unto thy paths.
16 Je ferai mes délices de tes statuts. Je n'oublierai pas ta parole. GIMEL
In thy statutes will I seek my delight: I will not forget thy word.
17 Fais du bien à ton serviteur. Je vivrai et j'obéirai à ta parole.
GIMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant: let me live, that I may observe thy word.
18 Ouvrez mes yeux, pour que je voie les merveilles de ta loi.
Open thou my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
19 Je suis un étranger sur la terre. Ne me cachez pas vos commandements.
A stranger am I on the earth: hide not from me thy commandments.
20 Mon âme se consume de désir pour tes ordonnances en tout temps.
My soul is broken from longing for thy ordinances at all times.
21 Tu as réprimandé les orgueilleux qui sont maudits, qui s'éloignent de tes commandements.
Thou hast rebuked the accursed proud, who go erringly astray from thy commandments.
22 Éloigne de moi l'opprobre et le mépris, car j'ai observé tes lois.
Roll away from me reproach and contempt; for thy testimonies have I kept.
23 Quand les princes s'asseyent et me calomnient, ton serviteur méditera sur tes statuts.
Although even princes should sit and speak against me, thy servant would still meditate on thy statutes.
24 Tes statuts sont mes délices, et mes conseillers. DALETH
Also thy testimonies are my delight, my counsellors.
25 Mon âme est couchée dans la poussière. Ranime-moi selon ta parole!
DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: revive thou me according to thy word.
26 J'ai exposé mes voies, et tu m'as répondu. Apprends-moi tes statuts.
My ways do I relate [to thee], and thou answerest me: teach me thy statutes.
27 Fais-moi comprendre l'enseignement de tes préceptes! Alors je méditerai sur tes merveilles.
Cause me to understand the way of thy precepts, that I may meditate on thy wonders.
28 Mon âme est fatiguée par la tristesse; fortifie-moi selon ta parole.
My soul droppeth away from grief: sustain me according to thy word.
29 Garde-moi de la voie de la tromperie. Accorde-moi ta loi gracieusement!
The way of falsehood do thou remove from me, and grant me graciously thy law.
30 J'ai choisi la voie de la vérité. J'ai mis vos ordonnances devant moi.
The way of truth have I chosen: thy ordinances have I set [before me].
31 Je m'attache à tes statuts, Yahvé. Ne me laissez pas être déçu.
I have adhered unto thy testimonies: O Lord, put me not to shame.
32 Je cours dans le sentier de tes commandements, car tu as libéré mon cœur. HE
The way of thy commandments will I run; for thou wilt enlarge my heart.
33 Enseigne-moi, Yahvé, la voie de tes statuts. Je les garderai jusqu'à la fin.
HE. Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes, and I shall keep it in all its windings.
34 Donne-moi l'intelligence, et je garderai ta loi. Oui, j'y obéirai de tout mon cœur.
Give me understanding, that I may keep thy law, and I will observe it with all [my] heart.
35 Dirige-moi dans le chemin de tes commandements, car je me réjouis d'eux.
Guide me on the path of thy commandments; for therein do I find my delight.
36 Tourne mon cœur vers tes statuts, et non vers un gain égoïste.
Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to desire for gain.
37 Détourne mes yeux des choses sans valeur. Ravivez-moi dans vos voies.
Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity: on thy way do thou give me life.
38 Accomplis ta promesse à ton serviteur, pour que vous soyez craint.
Fulfill unto thy servant thy promise for those who are devoted to thy fear.
39 Otez le déshonneur que je redoute, car tes ordonnances sont bonnes.
Cause to pass away my disgrace of which I have dread; for thy ordinances are good.
40 Voici, j'ai envie de tes préceptes! Ravivez-moi dans votre justice. VAV
Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: through thy righteousness do thou give my life.
41 Que ta bonté vienne aussi à moi, Yahvé, ton salut, selon ta parole.
VAV. And let thy kindness come unto me, O Lord, thy salvation, according to thy promise.
42 Ainsi, je répondrai à celui qui me fait des reproches, car j'ai confiance en ta parole.
Then shall I have a word to answer the one that reproacheth me; for I trust in thy word.
43 N'arrache pas de ma bouche la parole de vérité, car j'ai mis mon espoir dans vos ordonnances.
And snatch not the word of truth out of my mouth too greatly; for I wait for thy ordinances.
44 Ainsi, j'obéirai sans cesse à ta loi, pour toujours et à jamais.
So shall I observe thy law continually for ever and ever.
45 Je marcherai dans la liberté, car j'ai cherché tes préceptes.
And I will walk in an open space; for thy precepts have I sought.
46 Je parlerai aussi de tes statuts devant les rois, et vous ne serez pas déçu.
And I will speak of thy testimonies before kings, and will not be ashamed.
47 Je ferai mes délices de tes commandements, parce que je les aime.
And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I love.
48 Je tends les mains vers tes commandements, que j'aime. Je méditerai sur tes statuts. ZAYIN
And so will I lift up my hands unto thy commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on thy statutes.
49 Souviens-toi de ta parole envers ton serviteur, parce que tu m'as donné de l'espoir.
ZAYIN. Remember thy word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to wait.
50 C'est ma consolation dans ma détresse, car ta parole m'a fait revivre.
This is my comfort in my affliction, that thy promise hath revived me.
51 Les arrogants se moquent excessivement de moi, mais je ne m'écarte pas de ta loi.
The presumptuous have held me too greatly in derision: yet have I not departed away from thy law.
52 Je me souviens de tes ordonnances d'autrefois, Yahvé, et je me suis consolé.
I remembered thy decrees [which were] from olden times, O Lord, and thus comforted myself.
53 L'indignation s'est emparée de moi, à cause des méchants qui abandonnent ta loi.
Horror seized on me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
54 Tes statuts ont été mes chants dans la maison où je vis.
Songs have thy statutes been unto me in the house of my pilgrimage.
55 Je me suis souvenu de ton nom, Yahvé, dans la nuit, et j'obéis à ta loi.
I remembered in the night thy name, O Lord, and observed thy law.
56 C'est mon chemin, que je garde tes préceptes. HETH
This came to pass unto me, because I had kept thy precepts.
57 Yahvé est mon partage. J'ai promis d'obéir à vos paroles.
CHETH. My portion is the Lord, have I said, that I might observe thy words.
58 J'ai cherché ta faveur de tout mon cœur. Sois miséricordieux envers moi selon ta parole.
I make entreaty before thee with all my heart: be gracious unto me according to thy promise.
59 J'ai réfléchi à ma façon de faire, et tourné mes pas vers tes statuts.
I have thought over my ways, and made my feet return unto thy testimonies.
60 Je me dépêcherai, et ne tarderai pas, pour obéir à tes commandements.
I hastened, and delayed not to observe thy commandments.
61 Les cordes des méchants me lient, mais je n'oublierai pas votre loi.
Companies of wicked men have surrounded me; but I have not forgotten thy law.
62 A minuit, je me lèverai pour te rendre grâce, à cause de vos justes ordonnances.
At midnights do I constantly rise to give thanks unto thee, because of thy righteous decrees.
63 Je suis l'ami de tous ceux qui te craignent, de ceux qui observent tes préceptes.
An associate am I unto all that fear thee, and unto those that keep thy precepts.
64 La terre est pleine de ta bonté, Yahvé. Apprends-moi tes statuts. TETH
Of thy kindness, O Lord, is the earth full: teach me thy statutes.
65 Tu as bien traité ton serviteur, selon ta parole, Yahvé.
TETH. Thou hast shown goodness on thy servant, O Lord, according to thy word.
66 Enseigne-moi le bon jugement et la connaissance, car je crois en tes commandements.
The best of discernment and knowledge do thou teach me; for in thy commandments do I believe.
67 Avant d'être affligé, je me suis égaré; mais maintenant j'observe ta parole.
Before I was afflicted I was in error; but now I observe thy saying.
68 Tu es bon, et tu fais le bien. Apprends-moi tes statuts.
Thou art good, and doing good: teach me thy statutes.
69 Les orgueilleux m'ont entaché de mensonge. De tout mon cœur, je garderai tes préceptes.
The presumptuous have invented falsehoods against me; but I will with all my heart indeed keep thy precepts.
70 Leur cœur est aussi dur que la graisse, mais je me réjouis de ta loi.
Gross as fat is their heart; but I take truly delight in thy law.
71 Il est bon pour moi que j'aie été affligé, pour que j'apprenne tes statuts.
It is well for me that I have been afflicted, in order that I might learn thy statutes.
72 La loi de ta bouche vaut mieux pour moi que des milliers de pièces d'or et d'argent. YODH
Better is unto me the law of thy mouth than thousands of gold and silver.
73 Tes mains m'ont fait et m'ont formé. Donne-moi l'intelligence, afin que j'apprenne tes commandements.
YOD. Thy hands have made me and established me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
74 Ceux qui te craignent me verront et se réjouiront, parce que j'ai mis mon espoir dans ta parole.
Those that fear thee will see me and be rejoiced; because I have waited for thy word.
75 Yahvé, je sais que tes jugements sont justes, que c'est par fidélité que tu m'as affligé.
I know, O Lord, that thy decrees are righteous, and that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me.
76 S'il vous plaît, que votre bonté soit pour mon confort, selon ta parole, à ton serviteur.
Let, I pray thee, thy kindness come to comfort me, according to thy promise unto thy servant.
77 Que tes tendres compassions viennent à moi, afin que je vive; car ta loi fait mes délices.
Let thy mercies come unto me, that I may live; for thy law is my delight.
78 Que les orgueilleux soient déçus, car c'est à tort qu'ils m'ont renversé. Je méditerai sur tes préceptes.
Let the presumptuous be made ashamed; because they have without a cause dealt perversely with me; but I will indeed meditate on thy precepts.
79 Que ceux qui te craignent se tournent vers moi. Ils connaîtront vos statuts.
Let those that fear thee return unto me, and those that know thy testimonies.
80 Que mon cœur soit irréprochable envers tes décrets, pour que je ne sois pas déçu. KAPF
Let my heart be entire in thy statutes, in order that I may not be put to shame.
81 Mon âme se languit de ton salut. J'espère en ta parole.
CAPH. My soul ardently desireth for thy salvation: for thy word do I wait.
82 Mes yeux se languissent de ta parole. Je dis: « Quand me consoleras-tu? »
My eyes look eagerly for thy promise, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
83 Car je suis devenu comme une outre à vin dans la fumée. Je n'oublie pas vos statuts.
For I am become like a bottle in the smoke: [yet] do I not forget thy statutes.
84 Combien de jours compte ton serviteur? Quand exécuteras-tu le jugement sur ceux qui me persécutent?
How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute justice on my persecutors?
85 Les orgueilleux ont creusé des fosses pour moi, contraire à votre loi.
The presumptuous have dug pits for me, which is not in accordance with thy law.
86 Tous tes commandements sont fidèles. Ils me persécutent à tort. Aidez-moi!
All thy commandments are founded on truth: without cause they persecute me; help thou me.
87 Ils m'avaient presque effacé de la terre, mais je n'ai pas abandonné tes préceptes.
But little was wanting that they had consumed me upon earth; but I have truly not forsaken thy precepts.
88 Préserve ma vie selon ta bonté, alors j'obéirai aux lois de ta bouche. LAMEDH
According to thy kindness give me life, that I may observe the testimony of thy mouth.
89 Yahvé, ta parole est fixée dans les cieux pour toujours.
LAMED. To eternity, O Lord, standeth firm thy word with the heavens.
90 Ta fidélité s'étend à toutes les générations. Tu as établi la terre, et elle demeure.
Unto all generations endureth thy faithfulness: thou hast established the earth, and she standeth.
91 Tes lois demeurent jusqu'à ce jour, car toutes choses te servent.
According to thy ordinances they exist this day: for all are thy servants.
92 Si ta loi n'avait pas fait mes délices, J'aurais péri dans mon affliction.
Unless thy law had been my delights, I should long since have been lost in my affliction.
93 Je n'oublierai jamais tes préceptes, car avec eux, tu m'as fait revivre.
Never will I forget thy precepts; for with them thou hast kept me alive.
94 Je suis à toi. Sauve-moi, car j'ai cherché tes préceptes.
Thine am I, save me; for thy precepts have I sought.
95 Les méchants m'ont attendu, pour me détruire. Je prendrai en considération vos statuts.
Wicked men have waited for me to destroy me; [but] I will reflect on thy testimonies.
96 J'ai vu une limite à toute perfection, mais vos ordres sont illimités. MEM
Of all perfection have I seen the end; [but] thy commandment is exceedingly extended.
97 Comme j'aime ta loi! C'est ma méditation toute la journée.
MEM. Oh how do I love thy law! all the day is it my (meditation)
98 Tes commandements me rendent plus sage que mes ennemis, car tes commandements sont toujours avec moi.
Wiser than my enemy doth thy commandment make me; for it is perpetually with me.
99 J'ai plus de compréhension que tous mes professeurs, car vos témoignages sont ma méditation.
Above all my teachers have I obtained intelligence; for thy testimonies are my (meditation)
100 que je comprends mieux que les personnes âgées, parce que j'ai gardé tes préceptes.
More than the elders do I possess understanding; because thy precepts do I keep.
101 J'ai gardé mes pieds de toute mauvaise voie, pour que je puisse observer ta parole.
From every evil path have I withholden my feet, in order that I might observe thy word.
102 Je ne me suis pas détourné de tes ordonnances, car tu m'as appris.
From thy ordinances have I not departed; for thou hast instructed me.
103 Comme tes promesses sont douces à mon goût, plus que du miel dans ma bouche!
How much sweeter are to my palate thy sayings than honey to my mouth!
104 Par tes préceptes, j'obtiens la compréhension; c'est pourquoi je déteste toute voie fausse. NUN
Through thy precepts shall I obtain understanding: therefore do I hate every path of falsehood.
105 Ta parole est une lampe pour mes pieds, et une lumière pour mon chemin.
NUN. A lamp unto my feet is thy word, and a light unto my path.
106 J'ai juré, et je l'ai confirmé, que j'obéirai à tes justes ordonnances.
I have sworn, and I will perform it, to observe thy righteous ordinances.
107 Je suis très affligé. Ranime-moi, Yahvé, selon ta parole.
I am afflicted exceedingly much: O Lord, revive me, according to thy word.
108 Accepte, je t'en prie, les offrandes volontaires de ma bouche. Yahvé, enseigne-moi tes ordonnances.
Receive in favor the freewill-offerings of my mouth, I beseech thee, O Lord, and teach me thy ordinances.
109 Mon âme est continuellement dans ma main, mais je n'oublierai pas votre loi.
My life is in my hand continually: yet thy law do I not forget.
110 Les méchants m'ont tendu un piège, mais je ne me suis pas écarté de vos préceptes.
The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet have I not erred from thy precepts.
111 J'ai pris vos témoignages comme un héritage pour toujours, car ils sont la joie de mon cœur.
I have taken thy testimonies as a heritage to eternity; for they are the joy of my heart.
112 J'ai mis mon cœur à pratiquer tes lois pour toujours, même jusqu'à la fin. SAMEKH
I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes always, in all their ways.
113 Je déteste les hommes à double esprit, mais j'aime votre loi.
SAMECH. Those of divided thoughts I hate; but thy law do I love.
114 Tu es ma cachette et mon bouclier. J'espère en ta parole.
My shelter and my shield art thou: for thy word do I wait.
115 Éloignez-vous de moi, méchants, afin que je puisse garder les commandements de mon Dieu.
Depart from me, ye evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of God.
116 Soutiens-moi selon ta parole, afin que je vive. Que je n'aie pas honte de mon espérance.
Uphold me according to thy promise, that I may live, and let me not be made ashamed of my hope.
117 Tenez-moi, et je serai en sécurité, et respectera sans cesse vos statuts.
Support me that I may be placed in safety, and I will direct my regard unto thy statutes continually.
118 Tu rejettes tous ceux qui s'écartent de tes statuts, car leur ruse est vaine.
Thou hast trodden down all that erringly stray from thy statutes; for falsehood is their deceit.
119 Tu as fait disparaître tous les méchants de la terre comme des scories. C'est pourquoi j'aime vos témoignages.
Like dross dost thou put away all the wicked of the earth: therefore do I love thy testimonies.
120 Ma chair tremble par peur de toi. J'ai peur de vos jugements. AYIN
My flesh trembleth shudderingly from dread of thee, and of thy decrees am I afraid.
121 J'ai fait ce qui est juste et équitable. Ne me laissez pas à mes oppresseurs.
'AYIN. I have executed justice and righteousness: leave me not to those who oppress me.
122 Veillez au bien-être de votre serviteur. Ne laisse pas les orgueilleux m'opprimer.
Protect thy servant for good: let not the presumptuous oppress me.
123 Mes yeux défaillent en cherchant ton salut, pour ta parole juste.
My eyes look eagerly for thy salvation, and for thy righteous promise.
124 Traite ton serviteur selon ta bonté. Apprends-moi tes statuts.
Deal with thy servant according to thy kindness, and thy statutes do thou teach me.
125 Je suis ton serviteur. Donne-moi l'intelligence, pour que je connaisse vos témoignages.
I am thy servant: give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
126 Il est temps d'agir, Yahvé, car ils violent ta loi.
It is time to act for the Lord: they have broken thy law.
127 C'est pourquoi j'aime tes commandements plus que l'or, oui, plus que de l'or pur.
Therefore do I love thy commandments more than gold, and more than fine gold.
128 C'est pourquoi je considère que tous tes préceptes sont justes. Je déteste toutes les fausses routes. PE
Therefore do I esteem all thy precepts in all things as right: every path of falsehood do I hate.
129 Vos témoignages sont merveilleux, c'est pourquoi mon âme les garde.
PE. Wonderful are thy testimonies: therefore doth my soul keep them.
130 L'entrée de vos paroles donne de la lumière. Il donne de la compréhension aux simples.
The opening of thy words giveth light, it giveth understanding unto the simple.
131 J'ai ouvert la bouche en grand et j'ai haleté, car je me languissais de tes commandements.
I opened my mouth, and panted for breath; because for thy commandments did I long.
132 Tournez-vous vers moi, et ayez pitié de moi, comme tu le fais toujours à ceux qui aiment ton nom.
Turn thou unto me, and be gracious unto me, as is thy wont unto those that love thy name.
133 Établis mes pas dans ta parole. Ne laisse pas l'iniquité dominer sur moi.
My steps establish thou through thy promise, and suffer not any wrong to have dominion over me.
134 Délivre-moi de l'oppression de l'homme, alors j'observerai tes préceptes.
Deliver me from the oppression of man, and I will observe thy precepts.
135 Fais briller ton visage sur ton serviteur. Apprends-moi tes statuts.
Let thy face shine upon thy servant, and teach me thy statutes.
136 Des ruisseaux de larmes coulent dans mes yeux, parce qu'ils n'observent pas ta loi. TZADHE
Streams of water have run down my eyes; because they had not observed thy law.
137 Tu es juste, Yahvé. Vos jugements sont justes.
TZADDE. Righteous art thou, O Lord, and upright are thy decrees.
138 Tu as commandé tes statuts avec justice. Ils sont entièrement dignes de confiance.
Thou hast commanded thy testimonies, as righteous and faithful exceedingly.
139 Mon zèle m'épuise, parce que mes ennemis ignorent vos paroles.
My zeal destroyeth me; because my assailants have forgotten thy words.
140 Vos promesses ont été testées de manière approfondie, et ton serviteur les aime.
Thy promise is greatly refined, and thy servant loveth it.
141 Je suis petit et méprisé. Je n'oublie pas tes préceptes.
I am little and despised: yet thy precepts have I not forgotten.
142 Ta justice est une justice éternelle. Votre loi est la vérité.
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
143 La détresse et l'angoisse se sont emparées de moi. Tes commandements sont mes délices.
Distress and trouble have overtaken me: [yet] are thy commandments my delights.
144 Tes témoignages sont justes à jamais. Donne-moi l'intelligence, pour que je puisse vivre. QOPH
Righteous are thy testimonies for everlasting: give me understanding, that I may live.
145 J'ai appelé de tout mon cœur. Réponds-moi, Yahvé! Je garderai vos statuts.
KOPH. I have called with all my heart: answer me, O Lord: thy statutes will I keep.
146 Je t'ai appelé. Sauve-moi! J'obéirai à tes statuts.
I have called on thee, save me, and I will observe thy testimonies.
147 Je me lève avant l'aube et j'appelle à l'aide. Je mets mon espoir dans vos paroles.
I come before thee in the dawn of morning, and cry: for thy word do I wait.
148 Mes yeux restent ouverts pendant les veilles de la nuit, pour que je puisse méditer sur ta parole.
My eyes are awake before the night-watches, that I may meditate in thy saying.
149 Écoute ma voix, selon ta bonté. Ranime-moi, Yahvé, selon tes ordonnances.
Hear my voice according to thy kindness: O Lord, according to thy decree do thou grant me life.
150 Ils s'approchent, ceux qui suivent la méchanceté. Ils sont loin de votre loi.
They that pursue mischievous devices draw nigh: from thy law are they far.
151 Tu es proche, Yahvé. Tous tes commandements sont la vérité.
Near art thou, O Lord; and all thy commandments are the truth.
152 Je le sais depuis longtemps grâce à vos témoignages, que tu les as fondés pour toujours. RESH
Of old already I knew of thy testimonies; because for eternity hast thou founded them.
153 Considérez ma détresse, et délivrez-moi, car je n'oublie pas ta loi.
RESH. Look on my affliction, and release me; for thy law have I not forgotten.
154 Plaidez ma cause, et rachetez-moi! Ranime-moi selon ta promesse.
Plead my cause, and deliver me: according to thy promise do thou revive me.
155 Le salut est loin des méchants, car ils ne cherchent pas tes statuts.
Far from the wicked is salvation; because thy statutes have they not sought for.
156 Grandes sont tes tendres compassions, Yahvé. Ranime-moi selon tes ordonnances.
Thy mercies are abundant, O Lord; according to thy decrees do thou revive me.
157 Mes persécuteurs et mes adversaires sont nombreux. Je ne me suis pas écarté de vos témoignages.
Many are my persecutors and my assailants: yet from thy testimonies do I not turn away.
158 Je regarde les infidèles avec dégoût, parce qu'ils n'observent pas ta parole.
I beheld the treacherous, and felt disgust; because they observed not thy saying.
159 Considérez combien j'aime vos préceptes. Ranime-moi, Yahvé, selon ta bonté.
Behold that I love thy precepts: O Lord, according to thy kindness do thou revive me.
160 Toutes vos paroles sont vraies. Chacune de tes justes ordonnances est éternelle. SIN ET SHIN
The summit of thy word is truth: and the whole of thy righteous judgment endureth for ever.
161 Les princes m'ont persécuté sans raison, mais mon cœur est en admiration devant vos mots.
SHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause; but of thy word standeth my heart in dread.
162 Je me réjouis de ta parole, comme celui qui trouve un grand butin.
I am rejoiced over thy promise, as one that findeth great spoil.
163 Je déteste et abhorre le mensonge. J'aime votre loi.
Falsehood I hate and abhor: but thy law do I love.
164 Sept fois par jour, je te loue, à cause de vos justes ordonnances.
Seven times in the day do I praise thee because of thy righteous decrees.
165 Ceux qui aiment ta loi ont une grande paix. Rien ne les fait trébucher.
Abundant peace have they who love thy law; and thee is nothing that causeth them to stumble.
166 J'ai espéré en ton salut, Yahvé. J'ai appliqué tes commandements.
I have hoped for thy salvation, O Lord, and thy commandments have I fulfilled.
167 Mon âme a observé vos témoignages. Je les aime énormément.
My soul hath observed thy testimonies, and I love them exceedingly.
168 J'ai obéi à tes préceptes et à tes témoignages, car toutes mes voies sont devant toi. TAV
I have observed thy precepts and thy testimonies; because all my ways are before thee.
169 Que mon cri parvienne jusqu'à toi, Yahvé. Donne-moi l'intelligence selon ta parole.
TAV. Let my entreaty come near before thee, O Lord: according to thy word grant me understanding.
170 Que ma supplication vienne devant toi. Délivre-moi selon ta parole.
Let my supplication come before thee: according to thy promise do thou deliver me.
171 Que mes lèvres prononcent des louanges, car tu m'enseignes tes statuts.
My lips shall utter praise; because thou wilt teach me thy statutes.
172 Que ma langue chante ta parole, car tous tes commandements sont justes.
My tongue shall speak loudly of thy promise; for all thy commandments are righteous.
173 Que ta main soit prête à m'aider, car j'ai choisi tes préceptes.
Let thy hand be [ready] to help me; for thy precepts have I chosen.
174 Je me suis langui de ton salut, Yahvé. Votre loi est mon plaisir.
I have longed for thy salvation, O Lord; and thy law is my delights.
175 Fais vivre mon âme, afin que je te loue. Que vos ordonnances m'aident.
Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee: and let thy decrees help me.
176 Je me suis égaré comme une brebis égarée. Cherche ton serviteur, car je n'oublie pas tes commandements.
I have gone erringly astray like a lost sheep: seek thy servant; for thy commandments have I not forgotten.
