Lévitique 3
1 "'Si son offrande est un sacrifice d'actions de grâces, s'il l'offre du troupeau, mâle ou femelle, il l'offrira sans défaut devant Yahvé.
[“Also tell the people], ‘When the offering that you bring to Yahweh is to maintain good fellowship [with him], you may bring a bull or a cow from your herd [of cattle], but what you present to Yahweh must be an animal that has no defects.
2 Il posera sa main sur la tête de son offrande et l'égorgera à l'entrée de la Tente d'assignation. Les fils d'Aaron, les prêtres, répandront le sang tout autour sur l'autel.
You must bring the animal to the entrance to the Sacred Tent. You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it [and drain some of its blood in a bowl]. Then one of Aaron’s sons, one of the priests, will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.
3 Il offrira du sacrifice d'actions de grâces un sacrifice consumé par le feu à Yahvé. Il enlèvera la graisse qui couvre les entrailles, toute la graisse qui est sur les entrailles,
From that offering, you must offer to Yahweh, as a sacrifice that will be burned in the fire, all the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal, or which is attached to them—
4 les deux rognons et la graisse qui est sur eux, qui est près des reins, et la couverture du foie, avec les rognons.
the kidneys and the fat that is attached to them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
5 Les fils d'Aaron brûleront cela sur l'autel, sur l'holocauste qui est sur le bois qui est sur le feu: c'est un sacrifice consumé par le feu, d'une odeur agréable à Yahvé.
Then one of the priests will burn those things on the altar, along with the other parts of the animal that will be completely burned to be an offering [to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh.
6 "'Si son offrande pour le sacrifice d'actions de grâces à Yahvé est issue du troupeau, mâle ou femelle, il l'offrira sans défaut.
If that offering to maintain good fellowship with Yahweh is a sheep or a goat, it must also be an animal that has no defects.
7 S'il offre un agneau en sacrifice, il l'offrira devant Yahvé;
If you offer a lamb, you must present it to Yahweh [at the entrance to the Sacred Tent]. You must lay your hands on the lamb’s head and then slaughter it. [‘You must drain some of its blood in a bowl].
8 il posera sa main sur la tête de son offrande et l'égorgera devant la tente d'assignation. Les fils d'Aaron en répandront le sang tout autour sur l'autel.
Then one of the priests will sprinkle that blood against all sides of the altar.
9 Il prélèvera sur le sacrifice d'actions de grâces un sacrifice consumé par le feu en l'honneur de l'Éternel; il enlèvera la graisse, toute la graisse de la queue, jusqu'à l'épine dorsale; il enlèvera la graisse qui recouvre les entrailles, et toute la graisse qui est sur les entrailles,
You must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: Its fat, the fat tail that you must cut off close to the backbone, and all the fat that covers the inner parts of the lamb or which is attached to them—
10 ainsi que les deux rognons et la graisse qui les recouvre, qui se trouve près des reins, et la couverture du foie, avec les rognons.
the kidneys with the fat that is on them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
11 Le prêtre brûlera cela sur l'autel: c'est l'aliment de l'offrande consumée par le feu à Yahvé.
One of the priests will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh].
12 "'Si son offrande est un bouc, il l'offrira devant l'Éternel.
‘If your offering is a goat, you must take/present it to Yahweh.
13 Il posera sa main sur sa tête et l'égorgera devant la Tente d'assignation; les fils d'Aaron en répandront le sang tout autour de l'autel.
You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it in front of the Sacred Tent. Then one of Aaron’s sons will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.
14 Il en fera son offrande, un sacrifice consumé par le feu à l'Éternel: il enlèvera la graisse qui couvre les entrailles et toute la graisse qui est sur les entrailles,
From that offering you must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: All the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal or which is attached to them,
15 les deux rognons et la graisse qui est sur eux, qui est près des reins, et la couverture du foie, avec les rognons.
the kidneys with the fat that is on them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
16 Le prêtre les brûlera sur l'autel: c'est l'aliment de l'offrande consumée par le feu, d'une agréable odeur; toute la graisse appartient à l'Éternel.
The priest will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh. All the fat [of the animals that are sacrificed] belongs to Yahweh.
17 "'Ce sera une loi perpétuelle de génération en génération dans toutes vos habitations, vous ne mangerez ni graisse ni sang'".
‘This is a command that must be obeyed by you and your descendants forever, wherever you live: You must not eat the fat or the blood [of any animal].’”
