Josué 18
1 Toute la congrégation des enfants d'Israël s'assembla à Silo, et ils y établirent la tente de la Rencontre. Le pays fut soumis devant eux.
And they assembled all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel Shiloh and they caused to dwell there [the] tent of meeting and the land it was subdued before them.
2 Il restait sept tribus parmi les enfants d'Israël, qui n'avaient pas encore partagé leur héritage.
And they remained among [the] people of Israel which not they had divided inheritance their seven tribes.
3 Josué dit aux enfants d'Israël: « Jusques à quand négligerez-vous d'entrer en possession du pays que Yahvé, le Dieu de vos pères, vous a donné?
And he said Joshua to [the] people of Israel until when? [will] you [be] showing yourself slack to go to take possession of the land which he has given to you Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your.
4 Désignez pour vous trois hommes de chaque tribu. Je les enverrai. Ils se lèveront, parcourront le pays et le décriront selon leur héritage, puis ils viendront me voir.
Provide for yourselves three men to the tribe so I may send them and they may arise so they may walk in the land so they may describe in writing it to [the] mouth of inheritance their so they may come to me.
5 Ils le diviseront en sept parts. Juda habitera dans son territoire au sud, et la maison de Joseph habitera dans son territoire au nord.
And they will divide among themselves it seven portions Judah it will remain on territory its from [the] south and [the] house of Joseph they will remain on territory their from [the] north.
6 Vous arpenterez le pays en sept parties, vous m'en apporterez la description ici, et je tirerai au sort pour vous ici, devant Yahvé notre Dieu.
And you you will describe in writing the land seven portions and you will bring [it] to me hither and I will throw for you a lot here before Yahweh God our.
7 Toutefois, les Lévites n'auront aucune part parmi vous, car le sacerdoce de l'Éternel est leur héritage. Gad, Ruben et la demi-tribu de Manassé ont reçu leur héritage à l'est du Jourdain, que Moïse, serviteur de Yahvé, leur a donné. »
For not a portion [will belong] to the Levites in midst your for [is] [the] priesthood of Yahweh inheritance its and Gad and Reuben and [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh they have received inheritance their from [the] other side of the Jordan east-ward which he gave to them Moses [the] servant of Yahweh.
8 Les hommes se levèrent et partirent. Josué ordonna à ceux qui étaient partis d'arpenter le pays, en disant: « Parcourez le pays, arpentez-le, et revenez me voir. Je vous tirerai au sort ici, devant Yahvé, à Silo. »
And they arose the men and they went and he commanded Joshua those [who] went to describe in writing the land saying go and walk about in the land and describe in writing it and return to me and here I will throw for you a lot before Yahweh in Shiloh.
9 Ces hommes parcoururent le pays et en firent le relevé par villes, en sept portions, dans un livre. Ils arrivèrent auprès de Josué, au camp de Silo.
And they went the men and they passed in the land and they described in writing it to the cities into seven portions on a scroll and they came to Joshua to the camp Shiloh.
10 Josué les tira au sort à Silo, devant Yahvé. Là, Josué partagea le pays entre les enfants d'Israël, selon leurs divisions.
And he threw for them Joshua a lot in Shiloh before Yahweh and he apportioned there Joshua the land to [the] people of Israel according to divisions their.
11 Le sort de la tribu des fils de Benjamin fut établi selon leurs familles. La limite de leur lot s'étendait entre les fils de Juda et les fils de Joseph.
And it came up [the] lot of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Benjamin to clans their and it went out [the] territory of lot their [was] between [the] descendants of Judah and between [the] descendants of Joseph.
12 Leur limite au nord partait du Jourdain. La frontière montait au nord, du côté de Jéricho, et s'élevait à l'ouest, à travers la montagne. Elle se terminait au désert de Beth Aven.
And it was to them the border of [the] side of north-ward from the Jordan and it goes up the border to [the] slope of Jericho from [the] north and it goes up in the hill country west-ward (and they are *Q(K)*) extremities its [the] wilderness of towards Beth Aven.
13 De là, la frontière passait à Luz, du côté de Luz (appelé aussi Béthel), vers le sud. La frontière descendait jusqu'à Ataroth Addar, près de la montagne qui se trouve au sud de Beth Horon la basse.
And it passes on from there the border Luz towards to [the] slope of Luz south-ward that [is] Beth-el and it goes down the border Ataroth Addar on the mountain which [is] from [the] south of Beth Horon lower.
14 La limite s'étendait et tournait sur le quart occidental, vers le sud, depuis la montagne qui est en face de Beth Horon, vers le sud, et se terminait à Kiriath Baal (appelée aussi Kiriath Jearim), ville des fils de Juda. C'était le quart occidental.
And it turns the border and it turns to [the] side of [the] west south-ward from the mountain which [is] on [the] face of Beth Horon [the] south towards (and they are *Q(K)*) extremities its to Kiriath Baal that [is] Kiriath Jearim [the] city of [the] descendants of Judah this [is the] side of [the] west.
15 Le quart sud partait de l'extrémité de Kiriath Jearim. La limite s'étendait à l'ouest, jusqu'à la source des eaux de Nephtoa.
And [the] side of [the] south [is] from [the] end of Kiriath Jearim and it goes out the border west-ward and it goes out to [the] spring of [the] waters of Nephtoah.
16 La limite descendait jusqu'à l'extrémité de la montagne qui se trouve devant la vallée du fils de Hinnom, dans la vallée des Rephaïm, au nord. Elle descendait vers la vallée de Hinnom, du côté du Jébusien, vers le sud, et descendait jusqu'à En Rogel.
And it goes down the border to [the] end of the mountain which [is] on [the] face [the] valley of Ben Hinnom which [is] in [the] valley of [the] Rephaites north-ward and it goes down [the] valley of [Ben] Hinnom to [the] slope of the Jebusite[s] [the] south towards and it goes down En Rogel.
17 Elle s'étendait vers le nord, sortait à En Shemesh, et s'en allait vers Geliloth, qui est en face de la montée d'Adummim. Elle descendait jusqu'à la pierre de Bohan, fils de Ruben.
And it turns from [the] north and it goes out En Shemesh and it goes out to Geliloth which [is] opposite [the] ascent of Adummim and it goes down [the] stone of Bohan [the] son of Reuben.
18 Elle passait au nord du côté opposé à la plaine, et descendait vers la plaine.
And it passes on to [the] slope opposite to the Arabah north-ward and it goes down the Arabah towards.
19 Elle passait au nord du côté de Beth Hogla, et se terminait à la baie septentrionale de la mer Salée, à l'extrémité méridionale du Jourdain. C'était la frontière sud.
And it passes on the border to [the] slope of Beth Hoglah north-ward (and they are [the] extremities of *Q(K)*) the territory to [the] bay of [the] Sea of Salt north-ward to [the] end of the Jordan [the] south towards this [is the] border of [the] south.
20 Le Jourdain était sa limite sur le quart oriental. Tel fut l'héritage des fils de Benjamin, selon les limites qui l'entouraient, selon leurs familles.
And the Jordan it borders it to [the] side of east-ward this [was] [the] inheritance of [the] descendants of Benjamin to borders its around to clans their.
21 Les villes de la tribu des fils de Benjamin, selon leurs familles, étaient Jéricho, Beth Hogla, Emek Keziz,
And they belonged the cities to [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Benjamin to clans their Jericho and Beth Hoglah and Emek Keziz.
22 Beth Araba, Zemaraïm, Béthel,
And Beth Arabah and Zemaraim and Beth-el.
23 Avvim, Para, Ophra,
And Avvites and Parah and Ophrah.
24 Chephar Ammoni, Ophni et Guéba; douze villes et leurs villages.
And Kephar (Ammonah *Q(K)*) and Ophni and Geba cities two [plus] ten and villages their.
25 Gabeon, Rama, Beéroth,
Gibeon and Ramah and Beeroth.
26 Mitspé, Chephira, Mozah,
And Mizpah and Kephirah and Mozah.
27 Rékem, Irpeel, Tarala,
And Rekem and Irpeel and Taralah.
28 Zéla, Éleph, Jébusite (appelée aussi Jérusalem), Gibeath et Kiriath; quatorze villes et leurs villages. Tel est l'héritage des fils de Benjamin, selon leurs familles.
And Zelah Haeleph and the Jebusite that [is] Jerusalem Gibeah Kiriath cities four-teen and villages their this [was] [the] inheritance of [the] descendants of Benjamin to clans their.
