Osée 11
1 « Quand Israël était un enfant, je l'ai aimé, et a appelé mon fils hors d'Égypte.
As the morewtid passith, the king of Israel schal passe forth. For Israel was a child, and Y louyde hym; and fro Egipt Y clepide my sone.
2 Ils les ont appelés, et ils se sont éloignés d'eux. Ils sacrifiaient aux Baals, et brûlaient de l'encens à des images gravées.

3 J'ai pourtant appris à Ephraïm à marcher. Je les ai pris par les bras, mais ils ne savaient pas que je les avais guéris.

4 Je les ai tirés avec des cordes d'homme, avec des liens d'amour; et j'étais pour eux comme ceux qui soulèvent le joug sur leur cou; Je me suis penché vers lui et je l'ai nourri.

5 « Ils ne retourneront pas dans le pays d'Égypte; mais l'Assyrien sera leur roi, parce qu'ils ont refusé de se repentir.
He schal not turne ayen in to the lond of Egipt. And Assur, he schal be kyng of hym, for thei nolden turne.
6 L'épée s'abattra sur leurs villes, et détruira les barreaux de leurs portes, et mettra fin à leurs plans.
A swerd bigan in the citees therof, and it schal waaste the chosun men therof, and schal eete the heedis of hem.
7 Mon peuple est décidé à se détourner de moi. Bien qu'ils appellent le Très-Haut, il ne les exaltera certainement pas.
And my puple schal hange, at my comynge ayen. But a yok schal be put to hem togidere, that schal not be takun awei.
8 « Comment puis-je t'abandonner, Ephraïm? Comment puis-je te livrer, Israël? Comment puis-je faire en sorte que tu aimes Admah? Comment puis-je vous faire aimer Zeboiim? Mon cœur est retourné à l'intérieur de moi, ma compassion est éveillée.
Hou schal Y yyue thee, Effraym? schal Y defende thee, Israel? hou schal Y yyue thee? As Adama Y schal sette thee; as Seboym. Myn herte is turned in me; my repentaunce is disturblid togidere.
9 Je n'exécuterai pas l'ardeur de ma colère. Je ne reviendrai pas pour détruire Ephraïm, car je suis Dieu, et non un homme, le Saint parmi vous. Je ne viendrai pas en colère.
Y schal not do the strong veniaunce of my wraththe. Y schal not turne, to leese Effraym; for Y am God, and not man. Y am hooli in the myddis of thee, and Y schal not entre in to a citee.
10 Ils marcheront après Yahvé, qui rugira comme un lion; car il rugira, et les enfants viendront en tremblant de l'ouest.
Thei schulen go after the Lord. He shal rore as a lioun, for he shal rore, and the sones of the see schulen drede.
11 Ils sortiront d'Égypte en tremblant comme un oiseau, et comme une colombe du pays d'Assyrie; et je les installerai dans leurs maisons, dit Yahvé.
And thei schulen fle awei as a brid fro Egipt, and as a culuer fro the lond of Assiriens. And Y schal sette hem in her housis, seith the Lord.
12 Ephraïm m'entoure de mensonges, et la maison d'Israël par la tromperie. Juda s'éloigne toujours de Dieu, et est infidèle au Saint.
Effraym cumpasside me in denying, the hous of Israel in gile. But Judas a witnesse yede doun with God, and with feithful seyntis.
