Hébreux 1
1 Dieu, ayant autrefois, en plusieurs temps et de diverses manières, parlé aux pères par les prophètes,
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,
2 nous a parlé, à la fin de ces jours, par son Fils, qu'il a établi héritier de toutes choses, par lequel il a aussi créé le monde. (aiōn g165)
Hath in these last days spoken to us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (aiōn g165)
3 Son Fils est le rayonnement de sa gloire, l'image même de sa substance, et il soutient toutes choses par la parole de sa puissance; après nous avoir purifiés par lui-même de nos péchés, il s'est assis à la droite de la majesté des cieux,
Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification of our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
4 étant devenu aussi supérieur aux anges que le nom plus excellent dont il a hérité est supérieur au leur.
Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5 Car auquel des anges a-t-il jamais dit, « Tu es mon fils. Aujourd'hui, je suis devenu ton père? » et encore, « Je serai pour lui un Père, et il sera pour moi un Fils? »
For to which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 Lorsqu'il introduit à nouveau le premier-né dans le monde, il dit: « Que tous les anges de Dieu se prosternent devant lui. »
And again, when he bringeth in the first-begotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7 Des anges, il dit, « Il fait des vents à ses anges, et ses serviteurs une flamme de feu. »
And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8 Mais il dit du Fils, « Ton trône, ô Dieu, est pour les siècles des siècles. Le sceptre de la droiture est le sceptre de votre Royaume. (aiōn g165)
But to the Son, [he saith], Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness [is] the scepter of thy kingdom. (aiōn g165)
9 Tu as aimé la justice et haï l'iniquité; C'est pourquoi Dieu, ton Dieu, t'a oint d'une huile de jubilation au-dessus de tes semblables. »
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, [even] thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
10 Et, « Toi, Seigneur, au commencement, tu as posé les fondements de la terre. Les cieux sont l'œuvre de tes mains.
And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the works of thy hands.
11 Ils vont périr, mais toi tu continues. Ils vieilliront tous comme un vêtement.
They shall perish; but thou remainest: and they all shall become old as doth a garment;
12 Tu les enrouleras comme un manteau, et ils seront changés; mais tu es le même. Vos années ne manqueront pas. »
And as a vesture wilt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed; but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13 Mais lequel des anges a-t-il dit à un moment donné, « Assieds-toi à ma droite, jusqu'à ce que je fasse de tes ennemis le marchepied de tes pieds? »
But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thy enemies thy footstool?
14 Ne sont-ils pas tous des esprits serviteurs, envoyés pour servir ceux qui doivent hériter du salut?
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall inherit salvation?
