Esdras 7
1 Après ces choses, sous le règne d'Artaxerxès, roi de Perse, Esdras, fils de Seraja, fils d'Azaria, fils de Hilkija,
And after the things these in [the] reign of Artaxerxes [the] king of Persia Ezra [the] son of Seraiah [the] son of Azariah [the] son of Hilkiah.
2 fils de Schallum, fils de Tsadok, fils d'Ahitub,
[the] son of Shallum [the] son of Zadok [the] son of Ahitub.
3 fils d'Amaria, fils d'Azaria, fils de Meraïoth,
[the] son of Amariah [the] son of Azariah [the] son of Meraioth.
4 fils de Zérachia, fils d'Uzzi, fils de Bukki,
[the] son of Zerahiah [the] son of Uzzi [the] son of Bukki.
5 fils d'Abischua, fils de Phinées, fils d'Éléazar, fils d'Aaron, le grand prêtre,
[the] son of Abishua [the] son of Phinehas [the] son of Eleazar [the] son of Aaron the priest the chief.
6 cet Esdras monta de Babylone. Il était un scribe habile dans la loi de Moïse, que Yahvé, le Dieu d'Israël, avait donnée; et le roi lui accorda tout ce qu'il demandait, selon la main de Yahvé, son Dieu, sur lui.
That Ezra he came up from Babylon and he [was] a scribe skilled in [the] law of Moses which he had given Yahweh [the] God of Israel and he gave to him the king according to [the] hand of Yahweh God his on him all request his.
7 Quelques-uns des enfants d'Israël, dont une partie des prêtres, des lévites, des chantres, des portiers et des serviteurs du temple, montèrent à Jérusalem la septième année du roi Artaxerxès.
And they came up some of [the] people of Israel and some of the priests and the Levites and the singers and the gatekeepers and the temple servants to Jerusalem in year seven of Artaxerxes the king.
8 Il arriva à Jérusalem au cinquième mois, c'est-à-dire la septième année du roi.
And he came Jerusalem in the month fifth it [was] [the] year seventh of the king.
9 En effet, le premier jour du premier mois, il commença à monter de Babylone, et le premier jour du cinquième mois, il arriva à Jérusalem, selon la bonne main de son Dieu sur lui.
For on [day] one of the month first it [was] [the] beginning of the going up from Babylon and on [day] one of the month fifth he came to Jerusalem according to [the] hand of God his good on him.
10 Car Esdras avait mis son cœur à rechercher la loi de Yahvé et à la mettre en pratique, et à enseigner les lois et les ordonnances en Israël.
For Ezra he had directed heart his to study [the] law of Yahweh and to do [it] and to teach in Israel decree and judgment.
11 Et voici la copie de la lettre que le roi Artaxerxès donna au sacrificateur Esdras, le scribe, le rédacteur des paroles des commandements de l'Éternel et de ses statuts pour Israël:
And this - [is] [the] copy of the letter which he gave the king Artaxerxes to Ezra the priest the scribe [the] scribe of [the] matters of [the] commandments of Yahweh and statutes his on Israel.
12 Artaxerxès, roi des rois, A Esdras le prêtre, le scribe de la loi du Dieu parfait du ciel. Or,
Artaxerxes [the] king of kings to Ezra priest the [the] scribe of law the of [the] God of heavens the perfect and now.
13 je décrète que tous ceux du peuple d'Israël, de ses prêtres et des lévites qui se trouvent dans mon royaume et qui ont l'intention de se rendre à Jérusalem de leur plein gré, iront avec vous.
From me it is made a decree that every [one who] volunteers in kingdom my from people the Israel and priests its and Levites the to go to Jerusalem with you he will go.
14 Car tu es envoyé par le roi et ses sept conseillers pour enquêter sur Juda et Jérusalem, selon la loi de ton Dieu qui est entre tes mains,
As to because that from before king the and seven counselors his [you are] sent to enquire on Judah and to Jerusalem in [the] law of God your which [is] in hand your.
15 et pour porter l'argent et l'or que le roi et ses conseillers ont offert librement au Dieu d'Israël, dont la demeure est à Jérusalem,
And to carry silver and gold which king the and counselors his they have offered freely to [the] God of Israel who [is] in Jerusalem abode his.
16 et tout l'argent et l'or que tu trouveras dans toute la province de Babylone, avec les offrandes volontaires du peuple et des prêtres pour la maison de leur Dieu qui est à Jérusalem.
And all [the] silver and [the] gold which you will find in all [the] province of Babylon with [the] freewill offering of people the and priests the [who] have offered freely for [the] house of God their which [is] in Jerusalem.
17 Tu achèteras avec cet argent des taureaux, des béliers et des agneaux, avec leurs offrandes et leurs libations, et tu les offriras sur l'autel de la maison de ton Dieu qui est à Jérusalem.
As to because this diligently you will buy with silver the this bulls - rams lambs and grain offerings their and drink offerings their so you may offer them on altar the of [the] house of God your which [is] in Jerusalem.
18 Tout ce que vous et vos frères jugerez bon de faire avec le reste de l'argent et de l'or, faites-le selon la volonté de votre Dieu.
And whatever that (to you *Q(k)*) and to (brothers your *Q(k)*) (it is good *LH(ab)*) with [the] rest of silver the and gold the to do according to [the] will of God your you will do.
19 Les objets qui vous seront donnés pour le service de la maison de votre Dieu, livrez-les devant le Dieu de Jérusalem.
And vessels the which [have been] given to you for [the] worship of [the] house of God your make complete before [the] God of Jerusalem.
20 Tout ce qui sera nécessaire pour la maison de ton Dieu et que tu auras l'occasion de donner, donne-le de la maison du trésor du roi.
And [the] rest of [the] thing[s] needed of [the] house of God your which it will fall to you to give you will give from [the] house of [the] treasures of king the.
21 Moi, le roi Artaxerxès, j'ordonne à tous les trésoriers qui sont de l'autre côté du fleuve que tout ce que le prêtre Esdras, le scribe de la loi du Dieu des cieux, vous demandera, vous le ferez avec toute la diligence voulue,
And from me I Artaxerxes king the it is made a decree to all treasurers the who [are] in [the] region beyond river the that all that he will ask for you Ezra priest the [the] scribe of law the of [the] God of heavens the diligently let it be done.
22 jusqu'à cent talents d'argent, cent cors de froment, cent baths de vin, cent baths d'huile, et du sel, sans qu'il soit nécessaire d'en indiquer la quantité.
Up to silver talents one hundred and up to wheat cors one hundred and up to wine baths one hundred and up to baths oil one hundred and salt which not [is] writing.
23 Tout ce qui est ordonné par le Dieu des cieux, que cela soit fait exactement pour la maison du Dieu des cieux; car pourquoi y aurait-il de la colère contre le royaume du roi et de ses fils?
All that [is] according to [the] decree of [the] God of heavens the let it be done exactly for [the] house of [the] God of heavens the that why? will it be anger on [the] kingdom of king the and sons his.
24 Nous vous informons également qu'il ne sera pas permis d'imposer un tribut, une coutume ou un péage aux prêtres, aux lévites, aux chantres, aux gardiens des portes, aux employés du temple ou aux ouvriers de cette maison de Dieu.
And to you [we are] making known that all priests the and Levites the singers the gatekeepers the temple servants the and [the] servants of [the] house of God this tribute tax and toll not [is] authorized to throw on them.
25 Toi, Esdras, selon la sagesse de ton Dieu qui est dans ta main, nomme des magistrats et des juges qui puissent juger tout le peuple qui est au-delà du fleuve, qui tous connaissent les lois de ton Dieu, et instruire celui qui ne les connaît pas.
And you O Ezra according to [the] wisdom of God your which [is] in hand your appoint judges and judges that they will be (judging *Q(k)*) all people the which [is] in [the] region beyond river the all [those who] know [the] laws of God your and [one] who not [he is] knowing you will instruct.
26 Si quelqu'un ne se conforme pas à la loi de ton Dieu et à la loi du roi, que le jugement soit exécuté sur lui avec toute la diligence voulue, que ce soit la mort, le bannissement, la confiscation des biens ou la prison.
And any who not he will be doing law the of God your and decree the of king the diligently judgment let it be done from him whether to death or (to banishment *Q(k)*) or to confiscation of properti and to imprisonment.
27 Béni soit Yahvé, le Dieu de nos pères, qui a mis une telle chose dans le cœur du roi, pour embellir la maison de Yahvé qui est à Jérusalem;
[be] blessed Yahweh [the] God of ancestors our who he has put like this in [the] heart of the king to beautify [the] house of Yahweh which [is] in Jerusalem.
28 et qui m'a accordé sa bienveillance devant le roi et ses conseillers, et devant tous les princes puissants du roi. J'ai été fortifié selon la main de Yahvé mon Dieu sur moi, et j'ai rassemblé des chefs d'Israël pour monter avec moi.
And towards me he has extended covenant loyalty before the king and counselors his and to all [the] officials of the king mighty and I I strengthened myself according to [the] hand of Yahweh God my on me and I assembled! from Israel chiefs to go up with me.
