Ézéchiel 47
1 Il me ramena à l'entrée du temple. Et voici, des eaux sortaient de dessous le seuil du temple, à l'orient, car la façade du temple était tournée vers l'orient. Les eaux descendaient par en dessous, du côté droit du temple, au sud de l'autel.
Afterward he brought me again to the door of the house; and behold, waters issued out from under the threshhold of the house eastward: for the front of the house [stood towards] the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south [side] of the altar.
2 Puis il me fit sortir par le chemin de la porte vers le nord, et me fit contourner par le chemin extérieur jusqu'à la porte extérieure, par le chemin de la porte qui regarde l'orient. Et voici, des eaux coulaient sur le côté droit.
Then he brought me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without to the outer gate by the way that looketh eastward; and behold, there ran out waters on the right side.
3 L'homme sortit à l'orient, le cordeau à la main, et mesura mille coudées; il me fit passer à travers les eaux, des eaux qui descendaient jusqu'aux chevilles.
And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters [were] to the ankles.
4 Il mesura encore mille coudées, et me fit passer à travers les eaux, des eaux qui arrivaient jusqu'aux genoux. Il mesura encore mille fois, et me fit passer à travers les eaux jusqu'à la taille.
Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters [were] to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters [were] to the loins.
5 Il mesura encore mille fois; et c'était un fleuve que je ne pouvais pas traverser, car les eaux étaient montées, des eaux dans lesquelles on pouvait nager, un fleuve qu'on ne pouvait pas traverser.
Afterward he measured a thousand; [and it was] a river that I could not pass over: for the waters had risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.
6 Il me dit: « Fils d'homme, as-tu vu cela? » Et il me ramena et me fit retourner sur la rive du fleuve.
And he said to me, Son of man, hast thou seen [this]? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river.
7 Et quand je fus de retour, voici, sur la rive du fleuve, il y avait de très nombreux arbres, d'un côté et de l'autre.
Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river [were] very many trees on the one side and on the other.
8 Il me dit alors: « Ces eaux coulent vers la région orientale et descendront dans la plaine. Puis elles iront vers la mer et se jetteront dans la mer qu'on fera jaillir; et les eaux seront guéries.
Then said he to me, These waters issue out towards the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: [which being] brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.
9 Il arrivera que tout être vivant qui grouille, en tout lieu où viennent les fleuves, vivra. Il y aura alors une très grande multitude de poissons, car ces eaux seront venues là, et les eaux de la mer seront guéries, et tout vivra là où le fleuve vient.
And it shall come to pass, [that] every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.
10 Il arrivera que des pêcheurs se tiendront près d'elle. Depuis En Gedi jusqu'à En Eglaim, ce sera un lieu où l'on étendra les filets. Leurs poissons seront selon leurs espèces, comme les poissons de la grande mer, en très grand nombre.
And it shall come to pass, [that] the fishers shall stand upon it from En-gedi even to En-eglaim; they shall be a [place] to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, very numerous.
11 Mais ses marécages ne seront pas guéris. Ils seront livrés au sel.
But its miry places and its marshes shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.
12 Sur les rives du fleuve, des deux côtés, croîtront tous les arbres alimentaires, dont la feuille ne se flétrira pas et dont le fruit ne tombera pas. Il produira chaque mois des fruits nouveaux, car ses eaux sortent du sanctuaire. Son fruit sera pour la nourriture, et sa feuille pour la guérison. »
And by the river upon its bank, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for food, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall its fruit be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to its months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and its fruit shall be for food, and its leaf for medicine.
13 Le Seigneur Yahvé dit: « Voici la frontière selon laquelle vous diviserez le pays en héritage selon les douze tribus d'Israël. Joseph aura deux parts.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; This [shall be] the border, by which ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph [shall have two] portions.
14 Vous en hériterez, les uns comme les autres, car j'ai juré de le donner à vos pères. Ce pays vous reviendra en héritage.
And ye shall inherit it, one as well as another: [concerning] which I lifted up my hand to give it to your fathers: and this land shall fall to you for inheritance.
15 « Ce sera la frontière du pays: « Du côté du nord, depuis la grande mer, par le chemin de Hethlon, jusqu'à l'entrée de Tsedad;
And this [shall be] the border of the land towards the north side, from the great sea, the way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad;
16 Hamath, Berotha, Sibraïm (qui est entre la frontière de Damas et la frontière de Hamath), jusqu'à Hazer Hatticon, qui est près de la frontière du Hauran.
Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which [is] between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazar-hatticon, which [is] by the border of Hauran.
17 La limite à partir de la mer sera Hazar Enon, sur la frontière de Damas; et au nord, la frontière de Hamath. Voici le côté nord.
And the border from the sea shall be Hazar-enan, the border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And [this is] the north side.
18 « Le côté oriental, entre Hauran, Damas, Galaad et le pays d'Israël, sera le Jourdain; depuis la frontière nord jusqu'à la mer orientale, vous mesurerez. Voici le côté oriental.
And the east side ye shall measure from Hauran, and from Damascus, and from Gilead, and from the land of Israel [by] Jordan, from the border to the east sea. And [this is] the east side.
19 « Le côté sud, vers le sud, sera depuis Tamar jusqu'aux eaux de Meriboth Kadesh, jusqu'au ruisseau, jusqu'à la grande mer. C'est le côté sud, vers le sud.
And the south side southward, from Tamar [even] to the waters of strife [in] Kadesh, the river to the great sea. And [this is] the south side southward.
20 « Le côté ouest sera la grande mer, depuis la frontière sud jusqu'en face de l'entrée de Hamath. Voici le côté occidental.
The west side also [shall be] the great sea from the border, till a man cometh over against Hamath. This [is] the west side.
21 « Vous vous partagerez ce pays selon les tribus d'Israël.
So shall ye divide this land to you according to the tribes of Israel.
22 Vous le partagerez par le sort en héritage pour vous et pour les étrangers qui habitent au milieu de vous et qui engendreront des enfants parmi vous. Ils seront pour vous comme les natifs des enfants d'Israël. Ils auront un héritage avec vous parmi les tribus d'Israël.
And it shall come to pass, [that] ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance to you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be to you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
23 Dans quelque tribu que l'étranger habite, tu lui donneras son héritage, dit le Seigneur Yahvé.
And it shall come to pass, [that] in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give [him] his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.
