Actes 13
1 Or, dans l'assemblée qui était à Antioche, il y avait quelques prophètes et docteurs: Barnabas, Siméon appelé Niger, Lucius de Cyrène, Manaen, frère adoptif d'Hérode le tétrarque, et Saul.
There were now (some *k*) in Antioch in what is [the] church prophets and teachers, both Barnabas and Simeon who is being called Niger and Lucius the Cyrenian, Manaen also — with Herod the tetrarch brought up — and Saul.
2 Comme ils servaient le Seigneur et jeûnaient, le Saint-Esprit dit: « Mettez-moi à part Barnabas et Saul, pour l'œuvre à laquelle je les ai appelés. »
As were ministering now they to the Lord and fasting said the Spirit Holy; do set apart then to Me (both *k*) Barnabas and (*k*) Saul for the work to which I have called them.
3 Puis, après avoir jeûné et prié, et leur avoir imposé les mains, ils les renvoyèrent.
Then having fasted and having prayed and having laid the hands on them they sent [them] off.
4 Ainsi, après avoir été envoyés par le Saint-Esprit, ils descendirent à Séleucie. De là, ils s'embarquèrent pour l'île de Chypre.
(They themselves *N(k)O*) indeed therefore having been sent forth by of the Holy (the *k*) Spirit went down to (*k*) Seleucia, From there (then *NK(o)*) they sailed to (*k*) Cyprus.
5 Arrivés à Salamine, ils annoncèrent la parole de Dieu dans les synagogues juives. Ils avaient aussi Jean comme assistant.
And having come into Salamis they were proclaiming the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews; They had now also John [as] a helper.
6 Après avoir traversé l'île jusqu'à Paphos, ils trouvèrent un sorcier, un faux prophète, un Juif qui s'appelait Bar Jésus,
Having passed through now (all *NO*) the island as far as Paphos they found (a man — *NO*) a certain magician a false prophet Jewish — whose name (of Bar-Jesus, *N(k)O*)
7 qui était avec le proconsul Sergius Paulus, un homme intelligent. Cet homme convoqua Barnabas et Saul, et chercha à entendre la parole de Dieu.
who was with the proconsul Sergius Paulus, man an intelligent. He having called to [him] Barnabas and Saul desired to hear the word of God.
8 Mais Elymas le sorcier (car c'est ainsi que s'appelle son nom selon l'interprétation) leur opposa une résistance, cherchant à détourner le proconsul de la foi.
Was opposing however to them Elymas the magician — thus for means the name of him — seeking to turn away the proconsul from the faith.
9 Mais Saul, qu'on appelle aussi Paul, rempli du Saint-Esprit, fixa les yeux sur lui
Saul then also [called] Paul having been filled [the] Spirit Holy (and *k*) having looked intently upon him
10 et dit: « Fils du diable, plein de toute espèce de tromperie et de ruse, ennemi de toute justice, ne cesseras-tu pas de pervertir les voies droites du Seigneur?
said; O full of all deceit and all craft, son of [the] devil, enemy of all righteousness, not will you cease perverting the ways (of the *no*) Lord upright?
11 Maintenant, voici que la main du Seigneur est sur toi, et tu seras aveugle, tu ne verras pas le soleil pendant un certain temps! ». Immédiatement, un brouillard et des ténèbres se sont abattus sur lui. Il allait et venait, cherchant quelqu'un pour le conduire par la main.
And now behold [the] hand (*k*) of the Lord [is] upon you, and you will be blind not seeing the sun during a season. Immediately (then descended *N(k)O*) upon him mist and darkness, and going about he was seeking one to lead by hand.
12 Alors le proconsul, voyant ce qui s'était passé, crut, étant étonné de l'enseignement du Seigneur.
Then having seen the proconsul that having happened he believed being astonished at the teaching of the Lord.
13 Paul et sa troupe partirent de Paphos et arrivèrent à Perga, en Pamphylie. Jean se sépara d'eux et retourna à Jérusalem.
Having sailed then from Paphos [with] those around [him] (*k*) Paul came to Perga of Pamphylia. John however having departed from them he returned to Jerusalem.
14 Eux, en partant de Perge, se rendirent à Antioche de Pisidie. Ils entrèrent dans la synagogue le jour du sabbat et s'assirent.
They themselves now having passed through from Perga came to Antioch (Pisidia, *N(k)O*) and (having gone *NK(o)*) into the synagogue on the day of the Sabbaths they sat down.
15 Après la lecture de la loi et des prophètes, les chefs de la synagogue leur envoyèrent dire: « Frères, si vous avez quelque parole d'exhortation pour le peuple, parlez. »
After then the reading of the law and of the Prophets sent the rulers of the synagogue to them saying; Men brothers, if any there is among you a word of exhortation toward the people, do speak.
16 Paul se leva, et, faisant un geste de la main, il dit: « Hommes d'Israël, et vous qui craignez Dieu, écoutez.
Having risen up then Paul and having made a sign with the hand he said; Men Israelites and you who [are] fearing God, do listen.
17 Le Dieu de ce peuple a choisi nos pères, il a exalté le peuple lorsqu'il séjournait comme étranger dans le pays d'Égypte et, le bras levé, il l'a fait sortir de ce pays.
The God of the people this of Israel chose the fathers of us and the people exalted in the sojourn in [the] land (of Egypt *N(k)O*) and with arm uplifted brought them out of it;
18 Pendant une période d'environ quarante ans, il les a supportés dans le désert.
and of about forty years for a period He endured the ways of them in the wilderness,
19 Quand il eut détruit sept nations au pays de Canaan, il leur donna leur pays en héritage pendant environ quatre cent cinquante ans.
and having destroyed nations seven in [the] land of Canaan He gave as an inheritance (to them *k*) the land of them —
20 Après cela, il leur donna des juges jusqu'à Samuel le prophète.
during years four hundred and fifty; And after these things He gave [them] judges until Samuel the prophet;
21 Ensuite, ils demandèrent un roi, et Dieu leur donna Saül, fils de Kish, homme de la tribu de Benjamin, pendant quarante ans.
Then Then they asked for a king, and gave to them God Saul son of Kish, a man of [the] tribe of Benjamin, years forty;
22 Après l'avoir destitué, il leur suscita David comme roi, auquel il rendit ce témoignage: « J'ai trouvé David, fils de Jessé, un homme selon mon cœur, qui fera toute ma volonté.
And having removed him He raised up David to them as king, to whom also He said having carried witness: I have found David the [son of] Jesse a man according to the heart of Mine, who will do all the will of Mine.
23 C'est de la descendance de cet homme que Dieu a apporté le salut à Israël, conformément à sa promesse,
Of this [man] the God of the seed according to promise (has brought *N(K)O*) to Israel ([the] Savior *NK(O)*) Jesus —
24 avant sa venue, lorsque Jean avait d'abord prêché le baptême de repentance à Israël.
When was proclaiming John before [the] face of the coming of Him a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
25 Comme Jean accomplissait sa tâche, il dit: « Que supposez-vous que je sois? Je ne suis pas lui. Mais voici que quelqu'un vient après moi, et je ne suis pas digne de délier les sandales de ses pieds ».
While then was fulfilling (*k*) John the course he was saying; (whom *N(k)O*) me myself do you suppose to be? Not am [he] I myself; but behold He comes after me myself of whom not I am worthy the sandal of the feet to untie.
26 « Frères, enfants de la souche d'Abraham, et ceux d'entre vous qui craignent Dieu, la parole de ce salut vous est adressée.
Men brothers, sons of [the] family of Abraham and you who [are] among you fearing God, (to us *N(K)O*) the message of the salvation this (was sent out. *N(k)O*)
27 Car les habitants de Jérusalem et leurs chefs, parce qu'ils ne l'ont pas connu, ni les voix des prophètes qu'on lit chaque sabbat, les ont accomplies en le condamnant.
Those for dwelling in Jerusalem and the rulers of them Him not having known and the voices of the prophets that on every Sabbath are being read, having condemned [Him] they fulfilled [them];
28 Bien qu'ils ne trouvassent aucune cause de mort, ils demandaient encore à Pilate de le faire mourir.
And no cause of death having found they begged Pilate to execute him.
29 Lorsqu'ils eurent accompli tout ce qui était écrit sur lui, ils le descendirent du bois et le déposèrent dans un sépulcre.
When then they had finished (all *N(k)O*) the [things] about Him written, having taken [Him] down from the tree they put [Him] in a tomb.
30 Mais Dieu l'a ressuscité des morts,
But God raised Him out from [the] dead,
31 et il a été vu pendant plusieurs jours par ceux qui étaient montés avec lui de la Galilée à Jérusalem, et qui sont ses témoins auprès du peuple.
who appeared for days many to those having come up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who (now *NO*) are witnesses of Him to the people.
32 Nous vous annonçons la bonne nouvelle de la promesse faite aux pères,
And we ourselves to you evangelise the to the fathers promise having been made,
33 que Dieu a accomplie pour nous, leurs enfants, en ressuscitant Jésus. Comme il est aussi écrit dans le deuxième psaume, « Tu es mon fils. Aujourd'hui, je suis devenu votre père.
that this God has fulfilled to the children of them (to us *NK(O)*) having raised up Jesus, as also in the psalm it has been written in the (second *NK(O)*) Son of Mine are You yourself, I myself today have begotten you.’
34 « En ce qui concerne le fait qu'il l'a ressuscité d'entre les morts, pour qu'il ne retourne plus à la corruption, il a parlé ainsi: 'Je te donnerai les bénédictions saintes et sûres de David'.
for then He raised Him out from [the] dead no more being about to return to decay, thus He has spoken that I will give to you the holy [blessings] of David the sure [blessings].’
35 C'est pourquoi il dit aussi dans un autre psaume: « Tu ne permettras pas que ton Saint voie la corruption.
(therefore *N(k)O*) also in another He says: Not You will allow the Holy One of you to see decay.’
36 Car David, après avoir, dans sa génération, servi le conseil de Dieu, s'est endormi, a été couché avec ses pères et a vu la décadence.
David indeed for in his own generation having served the of God purpose he fell asleep and he was added to the fathers of him and saw decay;
37 Mais celui que Dieu a élevé n'a pas vu la décadence.
The [One] however God raised up not did see decay.
38 Sachez donc, frères, que par cet homme vous est annoncée la rémission des péchés;
Known therefore it should be to you, men brothers, that through this One to you forgiveness of sins is proclaimed;
39 et que par lui quiconque croit est justifié de toutes les choses dont vous ne pouviez être justifiés par la loi de Moïse.
And from all things from which not you were able in (the *k*) law of Moses to be justified, in Him everyone who is believing is justified.
40 Prenez donc garde que ne vienne sur vous ce qui est annoncé par les prophètes:
do take heed therefore lest may come about (upon you *K*) that said in the prophets:
41 « Voyez, moqueurs! S'émerveiller et périr, car je fais une œuvre dans vos jours, un ouvrage que vous ne croirez nullement, si on vous le déclare. »
Behold! you scoffers, and do wonder and do perish for a work am working I myself in the days of you, a work (that *N(k)O*) certainly not you may believe even if one shall declare it to you.’
42 Les Juifs étant sortis de la synagogue, les païens demandèrent que ces paroles leur fussent annoncées le sabbat suivant.
When are departing then (they *no*) (from the *k*) (synagogue *K*) (of the *k*) (Jews *K*) were begging (the gentiles *K*) on the next Sabbath to be spoken to them declarations these.
43 A la fin de la synagogue, beaucoup de Juifs et de prosélytes pieux suivirent Paul et Barnabas, qui, leur parlant, les exhortèrent à persévérer dans la grâce de Dieu.
When was releasing then the synagogue followed many of the Jews and of the worshipping converts after Paul and after Barnabas, who speaking to them were persuading them (to continue *N(k)O*) in the grace of God.
44 Le sabbat suivant, presque toute la ville était rassemblée pour entendre la parole de Dieu.
On the (now *NK(o)*) coming Sabbath almost all the city was gathered together to hear the word (of the Lord. *N(K)O*)
45 Mais les Juifs, voyant la foule, furent remplis de jalousie, contredirent les paroles de Paul et blasphémèrent.
Having seen however the Jews the crowds they were filled with jealousy and were contradicting the [things] by (*k*) Paul (spoken *N(k)O*) (denying and *K*) denigrating [him].
46 Paul et Barnabé prirent la parole avec audace et dirent: « Il fallait que la parole de Dieu vous soit d'abord annoncée. Puisque vous l'avez repoussée de vous-mêmes et que vous vous jugez indignes de la vie éternelle, voici que nous nous tournons vers les païens. (aiōnios g166)
Having spoken boldly (also *N(k)O*) Paul and Barnabas said; To you it was necessary first to be spoken the word of God; but since (now *ko*) you thrust away it and not worthy you judge yourselves of eternal life, behold we are turning to the Gentiles. (aiōnios g166)
47 Car c'est ainsi que le Seigneur nous l'a ordonné, en disant, Je t'ai mis en lumière pour les païens, afin que tu apportes le salut aux extrémités de la terre. »
Thus for has commanded us the Lord: I have set you for a light of [the] Gentiles to be you for salvation until [the] uttermost part of the earth.’
48 Les païens, ayant entendu cela, se réjouirent et glorifièrent la parole de Dieu. Tous ceux qui étaient destinés à la vie éternelle crurent. (aiōnios g166)
Hearing [it] then the Gentiles (were rejoicing *NK(o)*) and they were glorifying the word of the (Lord *NK(O)*) and they believed as many as were appointed to life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
49 La parole du Seigneur se répandit dans toute la région.
Was carried then the word of the Lord through all the region.
50 Mais les Juifs, soulevant les femmes pieuses et les notables, ainsi que les principaux hommes de la ville, excitèrent une persécution contre Paul et Barnabas, et les chassèrent de leur territoire.
The but Jews incited the worshipping women (and *k*) [those] prominent and the principals of the city and they stirred up a persecution against Paul and (*k*) Barnabas and expelled them from the district of them.
51 Mais ils secouèrent contre eux la poussière de leurs pieds, et arrivèrent à Iconium.
But having shaken off the dust of the feet (of them *k*) against them they went to Iconium.
52 Les disciples furent remplis de joie et du Saint-Esprit.
(and *N(k)O*) the disciples were filled with joy and [the] Spirit Holy.
