1 Chroniques 8
1 Benjamin engendra Bela, son premier-né, Ashbel le second, Ahara le troisième,
Beniamin also begate Bela his eldest sonne, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,
2 Noha le quatrième et Rapha le cinquième.
Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fift.
3 Bela eut des fils: Addar, Gera, Abihud,
And the sonnes of Bela were Addar, and Gera, and Abihud,
4 Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,
And Abishua, and Naaman and Ahoah,
5 Gera, Shephuphan et Huram.
And Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.
6 Voici les fils d'Ehud. Voici les chefs de famille des habitants de Guéba, qui ont été emmenés captifs à Manahath:
And these are the sonnes of Ehud: these were the chiefe fathers of those that inhabited Geba: and they were caryed away captiues to Monahath,
7 Naaman, Achija et Guéra, qui les a emmenés captifs; et il est devenu le père d'Uzza et d'Achihud.
And Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, he caryed them away captiues: and he begate Vzza, and Ahihud.
8 Shaharaim engendra des enfants dans les champs de Moab, après les avoir renvoyés. Hushim et Baara furent ses femmes.
And Shaharaim begate certaine in the coutrey of Moab, after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wiues.
9 Par Hodesh, sa femme, il engendra Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam,
He begate, I say, of Hodesh his wife, Iobab and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,
10 Jeuz, Shachia et Mirmah. Ce sont là ses fils, chefs de famille.
And Ieuz and Shachia and Mirma: these were his sonnes, and chiefe fathers.
11 Par Hushim, il engendra Abitub et Elpaal.
And of Hushim he begat Ahitub and Elpaal.
12 Fils d'Elpaal: Eber, Misham et Shemed, qui bâtirent Ono et Lod, avec ses villes;
And the sonnes of Elpaal were Eber, and Misham and Shamed (which built Ono, and Lod, and the villages thereof)
13 et Beriah et Shema, chefs de famille des habitants d'Aijalon, qui mirent en fuite les habitants de Gath;
And Beriah and Shema (which were the chiefe fathers among the inhabitants of Aialon: they draue away the inhabitants of Gath)
14 et Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth,
And Ahio, Shashak and Ierimoth,
15 Zebadiah, Arad, Eder,
And Sebadiah, and Arad, and Ader,
16 Michael, Ishpah, Joha, fils de Beriah,
And Michael, and Ispah, and Ioha, the sonnes of Beriah,
17 Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber,
And Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hizki, and Heber,
18 Ishmerai, Izliah, Jobab, fils d'Elpaal,
And Ishmerai and Izliah, and Iobab, the sonnes of Elpaal,
19 Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi,
Iakim also, and Zichri, and Sabdi,
20 Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel,
And Elienai, and Zillethai, and Eliel,
21 Adaiah, Beraja, Schimrath, les fils de Schimeï,
And Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrah the sonnes of Shimei,
22 Ishpan, Eber, Éliel,
And Ishpan, and Eber, and Eliel,
23 Abdon, Zichri, Hanan,
And Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,
24 Hanania, Élam, Anthothija,
And Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothiiah,
25 Iphdée, Penuel, les fils de Schaschak,
Iphedeiah and Penuel ye sonnes of Shashak,
26 Shamschéraï, Scheharia, Athalie,
And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,
27 Jaaréschiah, Élie, Zichri, les fils de Jerocham.
And Iaareshiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, the sonnes of Ieroham.
28 Ce sont là des chefs de famille de génération en génération, des hommes de premier plan. Ils habitaient à Jérusalem.
These were the chiefe fathers according to their generations, euen princes, which dwelt in Ierusalem.
29 Le père de Gabaon, dont la femme s'appelait Maaca, habitait à Gabaon
And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon, and the name of his wife was Maachah.
30 avec son fils aîné Abdon, Tsur, Kish, Baal, Nadab,
And his eldest sonne was Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,
31 Gedor, Ahio, Zecher,
And Gidor, and Ahio, and Zacher.
32 et Mikloth, qui devint le père de Shimea. Ils habitaient aussi avec leurs familles à Jérusalem, près de leurs parents.
And Mikloth begate Shimeah: these also dwelt with their brethren in Ierusalem, euen by their brethren.
33 Ner engendra Kish. Kis est devenu le père de Saül. Saül engendra Jonathan, Malkishua, Abinadab et Eschbaal.
And Ner begate Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begate Ionathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
34 Le fils de Jonathan était Merib-Baal. Merib-Baal engendra Michée.
And the sonne of Ionathan was Merib-baal, and Merib-baal begate Micah.
35 Fils de Michée: Pithon, Mélec, Taréa et Achaz.
And the sonnes of Micah were Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.
36 Achaz engendra Jéhoadda. Jehoadda engendra Alemeth, Azmaveth et Zimri. Zimri engendra Moza.
And Ahaz begate Iehoadah, and Iehoadah begate Alemeth, and Azmaueth, and Zimri, and Zimri begate Moza,
37 Moza engendra Binea. Raphah était son fils, Éléasa son fils, et Azel son fils.
And Moza begate Bineah, whose sonne was Raphah, and his sonne Eleasah, and his sonne Azel.
38 Azel eut six fils, dont les noms sont les suivants: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ismaël, Sheariah, Abdias et Hanan. Tous ceux-là étaient les fils d'Azel.
And Azel had sixe sonnes, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: all these were the sonnes of Azel.
39 Fils d'Eschek, son frère: Ulam, son premier-né, Jeusch le second, et Eliphelet le troisième.
And the sonnes of Eshek his brother were Vlam his eldest sonne, Iehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40 Les fils d'Ulam étaient de vaillants hommes, des archers, et ils eurent beaucoup de fils et de petits-fils, au nombre de cent cinquante. Tous ceux-là étaient des fils de Benjamin.
And the sonnes of Vlam were valiant men of warre which shot with the bow, and had many sonnes and nephewes, an hundreth and fiftie: all these were of the sonnes of Beniamin.
