1 Chroniques 2
1 Voici les fils d'Israël: Ruben, Siméon, Lévi, Juda, Issacar, Zabulon,
These were Israel's sons: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,
2 Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Nephtali, Gad et Asher.

3 Fils de Juda: Er, Onan et Schéla, qui lui naquirent tous trois de la fille de Shua, la Cananéenne. Er, premier-né de Juda, était méchant aux yeux de Yahvé, qui le fit mourir.

5 Fils de Pérets: Hetsron et Hamul.

Boaz became the father of Obed, and Obed became the father of Jesse.
13 et Jessé engendra son premier-né Éliab, Abinadab le second, Shimea le troisième,
Jesse became the father of his firstborn Eliab, Abinadab the second, Shimea the third,
14 Nethanel le quatrième, Raddaï le cinquième,
Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
15 Ozem le sixième, et David le septième;
Ozem the sixth, and David the seventh.
16 et leurs sœurs étaient Séruia et Abigaïl. Fils de Séruia: Abischaï, Joab et Asaël, au nombre de trois.

17 Abigaïl enfanta Amasa; le père d'Amasa était Jéther, l'Ismaélite.

18 Caleb, fils de Hetsron, engendra des enfants d'Azuba, sa femme, et de Jerioth; voici ses fils: Jesher, Shobab et Ardon.
Caleb son of Hezron became the father of children by Azubah, his wife, and by Jerioth. His sons were Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.
19 Azuba mourut, et Caleb épousa Ephrath, qui lui donna naissance à Hur.
Azubah died, and then Caleb married Ephrath, who bore him Hur.
20 Hur engendra Uri, et Uri engendra Bezalel.
Hur became the father of Uri, and Uri became the father of Bezalel.

Geshur and Aram took Havvoth Jair and Kenath, as well as sixty surrounding towns. All these inhabitants were descendants of Makir, the father of Gilead.

32 Fils de Jada, frère de Schammaï: Jéther et Jonathan; Jéther mourut sans enfants.
The sons of Jada, the brother of Shammai, were Jether and Jonathan. Jether died without children.
33 Fils de Jonathan: Peleth et Zaza. Ce sont là les fils de Jerahmeel.

39 Azaria engendra Hélez, et Hélez engendra Éleasa,
Azariah became the father of Helez, and Helez became the father of Eleasah.
40 Éleasa engendra Sismaï, et Sismaï engendra Shallum,
Eleasah became the father of Sismai, and Sismai became the father of Shallum.
41 Shallum engendra Jekamia, et Jekamia engendra Élishama.
Shallum became the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah became the father of Elishama.
42 Fils de Caleb, frère de Jerahmeel: Mesha, son premier-né, père de Ziph, et les fils de Marescha, père d'Hébron.
The sons of Caleb, the brother of Jerahmeel, were Mesha his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph. His second son, Mareshah, was the father of Hebron.

The sons of Jahdai were Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.
48 Maaca, concubine de Caleb, enfanta Shéber et Tirhana.
Maakah, Caleb's concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.
49 Elle enfanta aussi Shaaph, père de Madmanna, Sheva, père de Machbena et père de Gibea; et la fille de Caleb était Acsa.
She also bore Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Makbenah and the father of Gibea. The daughter of Caleb was Aksah. These were the descendants of Caleb.
50 Voici les fils de Caleb, fils de Hur, premier-né d'Éphrata: Schobal, père de Kiriath Jearim,
These were the sons of Hur, his firstborn by Ephrathah: Shobal the father of Kiriath Jearim,
51 Salma, père de Bethléhem, et Hareph, père de Beth Gader.
