19 A Eber naquirent deux fils: le nom de l'un était Péleg, car de son temps la terre fut divisée; et le nom de son frère était Joktan.
And unto 'Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
20 Joktan engendra Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

21 Hadoram, Uzal, Dikla,
And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
22 Ebal, Abimael, Sheba,
And 'Ebal and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 Ophir, Havilah et Jobab. Tous ceux-là étaient fils de Joktan.

27 Abram (appelé aussi Abraham).

43 Voici les rois qui régnèrent dans le pays d'Édom, avant qu'aucun roi ne régnât sur les enfants d'Israël: Béla, fils de Béor; le nom de sa ville était Dinhaba.
And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before there reigned any king over the children of Israel: Bela' the son of Be'or; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44 Béla mourut; et Jobab, fils de Zérach, de Botsra, régna à sa place.
And Bela' died, and there reigned in his stead Jobab the son of Zerach of Bozrah.
45 Jobab mourut. Husham, du pays des Thémanites, régna à sa place.
And Jobab died, and there reigned in his stead Chusham of the land of Theman.
46 Husham mourut; et Hadad, fils de Bedad, qui avait battu Madian dans le champ de Moab, régna à sa place; et le nom de sa ville était Avith.
And Chusham died and there reigned in his stead Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab; and the name of his city was 'Avith.

And Hadad died, and there reigned in his stead Samlah of Massrekah.
48 Samla mourut; et Shaoul, de Rehoboth, près du fleuve, régna à sa place.
And Samlah died, and there reigned in his stead Saul of Rechoboth by the river.
49 Shaoul mourut. Baal Hanan, fils d'Acbor, régna à sa place.
And Saul died, and there reigned in his stead Ba'al-chanan the son of 'Achbor.
50 Baal Hanan mourut et Hadad régna à sa place; le nom de sa ville était Pai. Sa femme s'appelait Mehetabel, fille de Matred, fille de Mezahab.
And Ba'al-chanan died, and there reigned in his stead Hadad; and the name of his city was Pa'i; and the name of his wife was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
51 Et Hadad mourut. Les chefs d'Édom étaient: le chef Timna, le chef Aliah, le chef Jetheth,
Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were: Thimna', duke 'Alvah, duke Jetheth,
52 le chef Oholibamah, le chef Éla, le chef Pinon,

53 le chef Kenaz, le chef Teman, le chef Mibzar,
Duke Kenas, duke Theman, duke Mibzar,
54 le chef Magdiel et le chef Iram. Ce sont les chefs d'Édom.
