Nehemian 3
1 Ylimmäinen pappi Eljasib ja hänen veljensä, papit, nousivat ja rakensivat Lammasportin, jonka he pyhittivät ja jonka ovet he asettivat paikoilleen, edelleen Hammea-torniin asti, jonka he pyhittivät, ja edelleen Hananelin-torniin asti.
Then arose Eliashib the high priest and his brethren the priests, and built the sheep-gate, they, hallowed it, and set up the doors thereof, —even unto the tower of Hammeah, hallowed they it, unto the tower of Hananel;
2 Heistä eteenpäin rakensivat Jerikon miehet; ja näistä eteenpäin rakensi Sakkur, Imrin poika.
and, at his hand, built, the men of Jericho, —and at his [other] hand built Zaccur, son of Imri.
3 Ja Kalaportin rakensivat senaalaiset; he kattoivat sen ja asettivat paikoilleen sen ovet, teljet ja salvat.
And, the fish-gate, did the sons of Hassenaah build, —they, laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof;
4 Heistä eteenpäin korjasi muuria Meremot, Uurian poika, joka oli Koosin poika; hänestä eteenpäin korjasi Mesullam, Berekjan poika, joka oli Mesesabelin poika; ja hänestä eteenpäin korjasi Saadok, Baanan poika.
and, at their hand, repaired, Meremoth son of Uriah son of Hakkoz, and, at their hand, repaired, Meshullum son of Berechiah son of Meshezabel, —and, at their hand, repaired, Zadok son of Baana;
5 Hänestä eteenpäin korjasivat muuria tekoalaiset; mutta heidän ylhäisensä eivät notkistaneet niskaansa Herransa palvelukseen.
and, at their hand, repaired, the Tekoites, —but, their chiefs, put not their neck into the service of their lords.
6 Vanhan portin korjasivat Joojada, Paaseahin poika, ja Mesullam, Besodjan poika; he kattoivat sen ja asettivat paikoilleen sen ovet, teljet ja salvat.
And, the old gate, did Joiada son of Paseah, and Meshullam, son of Besodeiah, repair, —they, laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof;
7 Heistä eteenpäin korjasivat muuria gibeonilainen Melatja ja meeronotilainen Jaadon sekä Gibeonin ja Mispan miehet, jotka olivat Eufrat-virran tämänpuoleisen käskynhaltijan vallan alaisia.
and, at their hand, repaired, Melatiah the Gibeonite and Jadon the Meronothite, men of Gibeon and of Mizpah, —who pertained to the throne of the pasha Beyond the River;
8 Heistä eteenpäin korjasi muuria Ussiel, Harhajan poika, yksi kultasepistä, ja hänestä eteenpäin korjasi Hananja, yksi voiteensekoittajista; he panivat kuntoon Jerusalemia Leveään muuriin saakka.
at his hand, repaired, Uzziel son of Harhaiah, goldsmiths, and, at his hand, repaired Hananiah son of the perfumers, —and they fortified Jerusalem, as far as the broad wall;
9 Heistä eteenpäin korjasi muuria Refaja, Huurin poika, Jerusalemin piirin toisen puolen päällikkö.
and, at their hand, repaired, Rephaiah son of Hur, ruler of a half-circuit of Jerusalem;
10 Hänestä eteenpäin korjasi Jedaja, Harumafin poika, oman talonsa kohdalta; hänestä eteenpäin korjasi Hattus, Hasabnejan poika.
and, at their hand, repaired, Jedaiah son of Harumaph, even over against his own house, —and, at his hand, repaired, Hattush, son of Hashabneiah;
11 Toisen osan korjasivat Malkia, Haarimin poika, ja Hassub, Pahat-Mooabin poika, sekä sen lisäksi Uunitornin.
a second length, did Malchijah son of Harim and Hasshub son of Pahath-moab, repair, —also the tower of the ovens;
12 Heistä eteenpäin korjasi Sallum, Looheksen poika, Jerusalemin piirin toisen puolen päällikkö, hän ja hänen tyttärensä.
and, at his hand, repaired, Shallum son of Hallohesh, ruler of a half-circuit of Jerusalem, —he and his daughters.
13 Laaksoportin korjasivat Haanun ja Saanoahin asukkaat; he rakensivat sen ja asettivat paikoilleen sen ovet, teljet ja salvat. Sen lisäksi he korjasivat tuhat kyynärää muuria, Lantaporttiin saakka.
The valley-gate, did Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah, repair, —they, built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, —also a thousand cubits in the wall, as far as the dung-gate.
14 Lantaportin korjasi Malkia, Reekabin poika, Beet-Keremin piirin päällikkö; hän rakensi sen ja asetti paikoilleen sen ovet, teljet ja salvat.
And, the dung-gate, did Malchijah son of Rechab, ruler of the circuit of Beth-haccherem, repair, —he, built it, and set up the doors thereof, he locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
15 Lähdeportin korjasi Sallum, Kolhoosen poika, Mispan piirin päällikkö; hän rakensi sen, teki siihen katon ja asetti paikoilleen sen ovet, teljet ja salvat. Sen lisäksi hän korjasi Vesijohtolammikon muurin, kuninkaan puutarhan luota, aina niihin portaisiin saakka, jotka laskeutuvat Daavidin kaupungista.
And, the fountain-gate, did Shallun son of Col-hozeh ruler of the circuit of Mizpah, repair, he, built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, —also the wall of the pool of Shelah, by the garden of the king, even as far as the stairs that go down from the city of David;
16 Hänen jälkeensä korjasi Nehemia, Asbukin poika, Beet-Suurin piirin toisen puolen päällikkö, aina Daavidin hautojen kohdalle ja Tekolammikolle ja Urhojentalolle saakka.
after him, repaired, Nehemiah son of Azbuk, ruler of the half-circuit of Beth-zur, —as far as over against the sepulchres of David, even unto the pool which had been made, and unto the house of heroes;
17 Hänen jälkeensä korjasivat muuria leeviläiset: Rehum, Baanin poika; hänestä eteenpäin korjasi Hasabja, Kegilan piirin toisen puolen päällikkö, piirinsä puolesta.
after him, repaired, the Levites, Rehum son of Bani, —at his hand, repaired, Hashabiah, ruler of the half-circuit of Keilah, for his circuit;
18 Hänen jälkeensä korjasivat heidän veljensä: Bavvai, Heenadadin poika, joka oli Kegilan piirin toisen puolen päällikkö.
after him, repaired, their brethren, Bavvai son of Henadad, —ruler of the [other] half-circuit of Keilah;
19 Hänestä eteenpäin korjasi Eeser, Jeesuan poika, Mispan päällikkö, toisen osan, siltä kohdalta, mistä noustaan asehuoneeseen, joka on Kulmauksessa.
and there repaired at his hand, Ezer son of Jeshua, ruler of Mizpah, a second length, —over against the ascent of the armoury, at the corner;
20 Hänen jälkeensä korjasi Baaruk, Sabbain poika, suurella innolla toisen osan, Kulmauksesta aina ylimmäisen papin Eljasibin talon oveen saakka.
after him, zealously repaired Baruch son of Zabbai, a second length, —from the corner, unto the opening of the house of Eliashib, the high priest;
21 Hänen jälkeensä korjasi Meremot, Uurian poika, joka oli Koosin poika, toisen osan, Eljasibin talon ovesta Eljasibin talon päähän.
after him, repaired, Meremoth son of Uriah son of Hakkoz, a second length, —from the opening of the house of Eliashib, even unto the end of the house of Eliashib;
22 Hänen jälkeensä korjasivat papit, Lakeuden miehet.
and, after him, repaired, the priests, the men of the Circuit;
23 Heidän jälkeensä korjasivat Benjamin ja Hassub oman talonsa kohdalta; heidän jälkeensä korjasi Asarja, Maasejan poika, joka oli Ananjan poika, talonsa viereltä.
after him, repaired, Benjamin and Hasshub, over against their own house, —after him, repaired, Azariah son of Maaseiah son of Ananiah, beside his own house;
24 Hänen jälkeensä korjasi Binnui, Heenadadin poika, toisen osan, Asarjan talosta aina Kulmaukseen ja kulmaan saakka.
after him, repaired, Binnui son of Henadad, a second length, —from the house of Azariah, unto the corner, even unto the pinnacle:
25 Paalal, Uusain poika, korjasi Kulmauksen ja Ylätornin kohdalta, joka ulkonee kuninkaan linnasta vankilan pihaan päin; hänen jälkeensä Pedaja, Paroksen poika
Palal, son of Uzai, from over against the corner, and the tower that projecteth from the upper house of the king, which belongeth to the court of custody, —after him, Pedaiah son of Parosh.
26 -temppelipalvelijat asuivat Oofelilla-itäisen Vesiportin ja ulkonevan tornin kohdalta.
Now, the Nethinim, were dwelling in Ophel, —as far as over against the water-gate, on the east, and the tower that projecteth;
27 Hänen jälkeensä korjasivat tekoalaiset toisen osan, suuren, ulkonevan tornin kohdalta aina Oofelin muuriin saakka.
after him, repaired, the Tekoites, a second length, —from over against the great tower that projecteth, even unto the wall of Ophel:
28 Hevosportin yläpuolelta korjasivat papit, kukin oman talonsa kohdalta.
from beside the horse-gate, repaired the priests, every one over against his own house;
29 Heidän jälkeensä korjasi Saadok, Immerin poika, oman talonsa kohdalta. Ja hänen jälkeensä korjasi Semaja, Sekanjan poika, Itäportin vartija.
after him, repaired, Zadok son of Immer, over against his own house, —and, after him, repaired, Shemaiah son of Shecaniah, keeper of the east-gate;
30 Hänen jälkeensä korjasivat Hananja, Selemjan poika, ja Haanun, Saalafin kuudes poika, toisen osan; hänen jälkeensä korjasi Mesullam, Berekjan poika, yliskammionsa kohdalta.
after him, repaired, Hananiah son of Shelemiah, and Hanun sixth son of Zalaph, a second length, —after him, repaired, Meshullam son of Berechiah, over against his chamber;
31 Hänen jälkeensä korjasi Malkia, yksi kultasepistä, temppelipalvelijain ja kauppiasten taloon asti, Vartiotornin kohdalta, ja aina Kulmasaliin saakka.
after him, repaired, Malchijah son of Zorphi, as far as the house of the Nethinim, and the traders, —over against the muster-gate, even unto the ascent of the pinnacle;
32 Kultasepät ja kauppiaat korjasivat muurin Kulmasalin ja Lammasportin väliltä.
and, between the ascent of the pinnacle and the sheep-gate, repaired, the goldsmiths, and the traders.
