1 Kuulkaa tämä, Jaakobin heimo, te, joita kutsutaan Israelin nimellä ja jotka olette lähteneet Juudan lähteestä, jotka vannotte Herran nimeen ja tunnustatte Israelin Jumalan, mutta ette totuudessa ettekä vanhurskaudessa-

The LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, says: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.

20 Lähtekää Baabelista, paetkaa Kaldeasta; riemuhuudoin ilmoittakaa, kuuluttakaa tämä, viekää tieto siitä maan ääriin asti, sanokaa: "Herra on lunastanut palvelijansa Jaakobin".
Leave Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! With the sound of joyful shouting announce this, tell it even to the end of the earth; say, “The LORD has redeemed his servant Jacob!”
