Jesajan 12

1 Sinä päivänä sinä sanot: "Minä kiitän sinua, Herra, sillä sinä olit minuun vihastunut, mutta sinun vihasi asettui, ja sinä lohdutit minua.

And thou schalt seie in that dai, Lord, Y schal knouleche to thee, for thou were wrooth to me; thi strong venieaunce is turned, and thou hast coumfortid me.

2 Katso, Jumala on minun pelastukseni; minä olen turvassa enkä pelkää, sillä Herra, Herra on minun väkevyyteni ja ylistysvirteni, hän tuli minulle pelastukseksi."

Lo! God is my sauyour, Y schal do feithfuli, and Y schal not drede. For whi the Lord is my strengthe and my preysyng, and he is maad to me in to helthe.

3 Te saatte ilolla ammentaa vettä pelastuksen lähteistä.

Ye schulen drawe watris with ioie of the wellis of the sauyour.

4 Ja sinä päivänä te sanotte: "Kiittäkää Herraa, julistakaa hänen nimeänsä, tehkää hänen suuret tekonsa tiettäviksi kansain keskuudessa, tunnustakaa, että hänen nimensä on korkea.

And ye schulen seie in that dai, Knouleche ye to the Lord, and clepe ye his name in to help; make ye knowun hise fyndyngis among puplis; haue ye mynde, that his name is hiy.

5 Veisatkaa ylistystä Herralle, sillä jaloja töitä hän on tehnyt; tulkoot ne tunnetuiksi kaikessa maassa.

Synge ye to the Lord, for he hath do worschipfuli; telle ye this in al erthe.

6 Huutakaa ja riemuitkaa, Siionin asukkaat, sillä suuri on teidän keskellänne Israelin Pyhä."

Thou dwellyng of Syon, make ful out ioie, and preise; for whi the hooli of Israel is greet in the myddis of thee.
