Hesekielin 29
1 Kymmenentenä vuotena, kymmenennessä kuussa, kuukauden kahdentenatoista päivänä tuli minulle tämä Herran sana:
In the tenthe yeer, in the tweluethe monethe, in the firste dai of the monethe, the word of the Lord was maad to me, and he seide,
2 "Ihmislapsi, käännä kasvosi faraota, Egyptin kuningasta, kohti ja ennusta häntä ja koko Egyptiä vastaan.
Thou, sone of man, sette thi face ayens Farao, king of Egipt; and thou schalt profesie of hym, and of al Egipt.
3 Puhu ja sano: Näin sanoo Herra, Herra: Katso, minä käyn sinun kimppuusi, farao, Egyptin kuningas-suuri krokodiili, joka makaat virtojesi keskellä, joka sanot: 'Niilivirtani on minun, ja minä olen sen itselleni tehnyt'.
Speke thou, and thou schalt seie, The Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y to thee, thou Farao, kyng of Egipt, thou grete dragoun, that liggist in the myddis of thi floodis, and seist, The flood is myn, and Y made mysilf.
4 Minä panen koukut sinun leukoihisi, tartutan virtojesi kalat sinun suomuihisi ja nostan sinut ylös virtojesi keskeltä sekä kaikki virtojesi kalat, jotka ovat suomuihisi tarttuneet.
And Y schal sette a bridil in thi chekis, and Y schal glue the fischis of thi floodis to thi scalis; and Y schal drawe thee out of the myddis of thi floodis, and alle thi fischis schulen cleue to thi scalis.
5 Minä viskaan erämaahan sinut ja kaikki virtojesi kalat. Sinä putoat kedolle, ei sinua korjata, ei koota. Metsän pedoille ja taivaan linnuille minä annan sinut ruuaksi.
And Y schal caste thee forth in to desert, and alle the fischis of thi flood; on the face of erthe thou schalt falle doun, thou schalt not be gaderid, nethir schalt be gaderid togidere; to the beestis of erthe, and to the volatilis of the eir Y yaf thee to be deuourid.
6 Ja kaikki Egyptin asukkaat tulevat tietämään, että minä olen Herra. Sillä he ovat ruokosauva Israelin heimolle:
And alle the dwelleris of Egipt schulen knowe, that Y am the Lord. For that that thou were a staf of rehed to the hous of Israel, whanne thei token thee with hond,
7 kun he kädellä tarttuvat sinuun, niin sinä säryt ja lävistät heiltä olkapäät kaikki; ja kun he nojaavat sinuun, niin sinä murrut ja jäykistät heiltä lanteet kaikki.
and thou were brokun, and to-rentist ech schuldre of hem, and whanne thei restiden on thee, thou were maad lesse, and thou hast discoumfortid alle the reynes of hem;
8 Sentähden, näin sanoo Herra, Herra: Katso, minä tuon sinun kimppuusi miekan ja hävitän sinusta ihmiset ja eläimet,
therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal bringe a swerd on thee, and Y schal sle of thee man and beeste;
9 ja Egyptin maa tulee autioksi ja raunioksi. Ja he tulevat tietämään, että minä olen Herra. Sillä hän on sanonut: 'Niilivirta on minun, ja minä olen sen tehnyt'.
and the lond of Egipt schal be in to desert, and in to wildirnesse, and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord. For that that thou seidist, The flood is myn, and Y made it, therfor lo!
10 Sentähden, katso, minä käyn sinun ja sinun virtojesi kimppuun ja teen Egyptin maan raunioiksi, kuivaksi ja autioksi Migdolista Seveneen ja hamaan Etiopian rajaan saakka.
Y to thee, and to thi floodis. And Y schal yyue `in to wildirnesses the lond of Egipt distried bi swerd, fro the tour of Sienes til to the termes of Ethiopie.
11 Ei käy siellä ihmisjalka, ei käy siellä eläimen jalka, eikä asuta siellä neljäänkymmeneen vuoteen.
The foot of man schal not passe bi it, nether the foot of beeste schal go in it, and it schal not be enhabitid in fourti yeer.
12 Autioksi minä teen Egyptin maan autioiksi tehtyjen maitten joukossa, ja sen kaupungit tulevat olemaan autioina raunioiksi pantujen kaupunkien joukossa neljäkymmentä vuotta, ja egyptiläiset minä hajotan kansojen sekaan ja sirotan heidät muihin maihin.
And Y schal yyue the lond of Egipt forsakun, in the myddis of londis forsakun, and the citees therof in the myddis of a citee distried, and tho schulen be desolat bi fourti yeer. And Y schal scatere Egipcians in to naciouns, and Y schal wyndewe hem in to londis.
13 Sillä näin sanoo Herra, Herra: Neljänkymmenen vuoden kuluttua minä kokoan egyptiläiset kansoista, joiden sekaan he olivat hajotetut,
For the Lord God seith these thingis, After the ende of fourti yeer Y schal gadere togidere Egipt fro puplis, among whiche thei weren scaterid;
14 käännän Egyptin kohtalon ja tuon heidät takaisin Patroksen maahan, synnyinmaahansa. Siellä he tulevat olemaan vähäpätöisenä valtakuntana.
and Y schal bringe ayen the caitifte of Egipte. And Y schal sette hem in the lond of Phatures, in the lond of her birthe; and thei schulen be there in to a meke rewme,
15 He tulevat olemaan vähäpätöisin valtakunnista, eivätkä enää kohoa kansakuntien ylitse. Minä vähennän heidät niin, etteivät he enää kansoja vallitse.
and among othere rewmes it schal be most low, and it schal no more be reisid ouer naciouns. And Y schal make hem lesse, that thei regne not on hethene men;
16 Eivätkä he enää kelpaa turvaksi Israelin heimolle: he saattavat muistoon Israelin syntivelan, jos se kääntyy heitä seuraamaan. Ja he tulevat tietämään, että minä olen Herra, Herra."
and thei schulen no more be to the hous of Israel in trist, techinge wickidnesse, that thei fle, and sue hem; and thei schulen knowe, that Y am the Lord God.
17 Kahdentenakymmenentenä seitsemäntenä vuotena, ensimmäisessä kuussa, kuukauden ensimmäisenä päivänä tuli minulle tämä Herran sana:
And it was don in the seuene and twentithe yeer, in the firste monethe, in the firste dai of the monethe, the word of the Lord was maad to me,
18 "Ihmislapsi, Baabelin kuningas Nebukadressar on teettänyt sotajoukoillansa raskasta työtä Tyyroa vastaan: kaikki päät ovat käyneet kaljuiksi ja kaikki olkapäät lyöpyneet; mutta palkkaa ei Tyyrosta ole tullut hänelle eikä hänen sotajoukoilleen työstä, jota ovat tehneet sitä vastaan.
and he seide, Thou, sone of man, Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, made his oost to serue bi greet seruyce ayens Tire; ech heed was maad ballid, and ech schuldir was maad bare of heer, and meede was not yoldun of Tire to hym, nether to his oost, for the seruyce bi which he seruede to me ayens it.
19 Sentähden, näin sanoo Herra, Herra: Katso, minä annan Baabelin kuninkaalle Nebukadressarille Egyptin maan. Hän vie sen tavaran paljouden, saa sen saaliit, ryöstää sen ryöstökset: se on oleva hänen sotajoukkojensa palkka.
Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal yyue Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, in the lond of Egipt, and he schal take the multitude therof; and he schal take in preye the clothis therof, and he schal rauysche the spuylis therof, and meede schal be to his oost,
20 Palkaksi, jonka toivossa hän on työtä tehnyt, minä annan hänelle Egyptin maan; sillä minun hyväkseni he ovat sitä tehneet, sanoo Herra, Herra.
and to the werk for which he seruyde to me ayens it; and Y yaf the lond of Egipt to hym, for that that he trauelide to me, seith the Lord God.
21 Sinä päivänä minä annan puhjeta Israelin heimolle sarven, ja sinulle minä annan voiman avata suusi heidän keskellänsä. Ja he tulevat tietämään, että minä olen Herra."
In that dai an horn of the hous of Israel schal come forth, and Y schal yyue to thee an open mouth in the myddis of hem; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
