2 Mooseksen 40
1 Ja Herra puhui Moosekselle sanoen:
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
2 "Ensimmäisen kuukauden ensimmäisenä päivänä pystytä asumus, ilmestysmaja.
On the first day of the first month thou shall raise up the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.
3 Ja aseta sinne lain arkki ja ripusta esirippu arkin eteen.
And thou shall put the ark of the testimony in it, and thou shall screen the ark with the veil.
4 Ja tuo sinne pöytä ja lado sille näkyleivät päälletysten; ja tuo sinne seitsenhaarainen lamppu ja nosta sen lamput paikoilleen.
And thou shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are upon it, and thou shall bring in the lampstand, and light the lamps of it.
5 Ja sijoita kultainen suitsutusalttari lain arkin eteen ja ripusta uudin majan oveen.
And thou shall set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the screen of the door to the tabernacle.
6 Ja polttouhrialttari sijoita asumuksen, ilmestysmajan, oven eteen.
And thou shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.
7 Ja allas sijoita ilmestysmajan ja alttarin välille ja kaada siihen vettä.
And thou shall set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shall put water in it.
8 Ja tee esipiha yltympäri ja pane uudin esipihan porttiin.
And thou shall set up the court round about, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court.
9 Ota sitten voiteluöljyä ja voitele asumus ja kaikki, mitä siinä on, ja pyhitä se kalustoineen, että se tulisi pyhäksi.
And thou shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shall hallow it, and all the furniture of it. And it shall be holy.
10 Ja voitele polttouhrialttari kaikkine kaluineen ja pyhitä alttari, että alttari tulisi korkeasti-pyhäksi.
And thou shall anoint the altar of burnt offering, and all its vessels, and sanctify the altar. And the altar shall be most holy.
11 Voitele myös allas jalustoineen ja pyhitä se.
And thou shall anoint the laver and its base, and sanctify it.
12 Tuo sitten Aaron poikineen ilmestysmajan ovelle ja pese heidät vedellä.
And thou shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tent of meeting, and shall wash them with water.
13 Ja pue Aaron pyhiin vaatteisiin ja voitele hänet ja pyhitä hänet, että hän pappina palvelisi minua.
And thou shall put upon Aaron the holy garments, and thou shall anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest's office.
14 Ja tuo myös hänen poikansa ja pue heidän ylleen ihokkaat.
And thou shall bring his sons, and put tunics upon them,
15 Ja voitele heidät, niinkuin sinä voitelit heidän isänsäkin, että he pappeina palvelisivat minua. Niin tämä on oleva heille voitelu ikuiseen pappeuteen, sukupolvesta sukupolveen."
and thou shall anoint them, as thou anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest's office. And their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
16 Ja Mooses teki kaiken, niinkuin Herra oli häntä käskenyt; niin hän teki.
Thus did Moses. According to all that Jehovah commanded him, so did he.
17 Ja asumus pystytettiin toisen vuoden ensimmäisessä kuussa, kuukauden ensimmäisenä päivänä.
And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was raised up.
18 Silloin Mooses pystytti asumuksen. Hän asetti paikoilleen sen jalustat, kiinnitti sen laudat, sovitti paikoilleen sen poikkitangot ja pystytti sen pylväät.
And Moses raised up the tabernacle, and laid its sockets, and set up the boards of it, and put in the bars of it, and raised up its pillars.
19 Ja hän levitti asumuksen ylle teltan ja asetti ylimmäksi sen päälle telttapeitteen, niinkuin Herra oli Moosesta käskenyt.
And he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
20 Sitten hän otti lain, pani sen arkkiin ja kiinnitti arkkiin korennot ja asetti armoistuimen arkin päälle.
And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy-seat above upon the ark.
21 Ja hän toi arkin asumukseen ja sijoitti paikoilleen sitä verhoavan esiripun, ripustaen sen lain arkin eteen, niinkuin Herra oli Moosesta käskenyt.
And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
22 Ja hän asetti pöydän ilmestysmajaan, asumuksen pohjoissivulle, esiripun ulkopuolelle
And he put the table in the tent of meeting, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, outside the veil.
23 ja latoi sille näkyleivät päälletysten Herran eteen, niinkuin Herra oli Moosesta käskenyt.
And he set the bread in order upon it before Jehovah, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
24 Ja hän asetti seitsenhaaraisen lampun ilmestysmajaan, vastapäätä pöytää, asumuksen eteläsivulle,
And he put the lampstand in the tent of meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.
25 ja nosti lamput paikoilleen Herran eteen, niinkuin Herra oli Moosesta käskenyt.
And he lit the lamps before Jehovah, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
26 Ja hän asetti kultaisen alttarin ilmestysmajaan esiripun eteen
And he put the golden altar in the tent of meeting before the veil,
27 ja poltti siinä hyvänhajuista suitsuketta, niinkuin Herra oli Moosesta käskenyt.
and he burnt incense of sweet spices on it, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
28 Ja hän ripusti uutimen asumuksen oveen.
And he put the screen of the door to the tabernacle.
29 Ja polttouhrialttarin hän asetti asumuksen, ilmestysmajan, oven eteen ja uhrasi sen päällä polttouhrin ja ruokauhrin, niinkuin Herra oli Moosesta käskenyt.
And he set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
30 Ja altaan hän asetti ilmestysmajan ja alttarin välille ja kaatoi siihen vettä peseytymistä varten.
And he set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it, with which to wash.
31 Ja Mooses ja Aaron ja hänen poikansa pesivät siinä kätensä ja jalkansa;
And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet there.
32 kun he menivät ilmestysmajaan tahi lähestyivät alttaria, niin he aina peseytyivät, niinkuin Herra oli Moosesta käskenyt.
They washed when they went into the tent of meeting, and when they came near to the altar, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
33 Ja asumuksen ja alttarin ympärille hän laittoi esipihan ja ripusti uutimen esipihan porttiin. Ja niin Mooses päätti sen työn.
And he raised up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.
34 Sitten pilvi peitti ilmestysmajan, ja Herran kirkkaus täytti asumuksen;
Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle.
35 eikä Mooses voinut mennä ilmestysmajaan, sillä pilvi oli laskeutunut sen päälle, ja Herran kirkkaus täytti asumuksen.
And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of meeting, because the cloud abode thereupon, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle.
36 Ja joka kerta, kun pilvi kohosi asumuksen päältä, lähtivät israelilaiset liikkeelle; näin oli koko heidän vaelluksensa ajan.
And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the sons of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys,
37 Mutta milloin pilvi ei kohonnut, he eivät lähteneet liikkeelle, ennenkuin sinä päivänä, jona se taas kohosi.
but if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not journey till the day that it was taken up.
38 Sillä Herran pilvi oli päivällä asumuksen päällä, ja yöllä oli pilvessä tulen hohde kaikkien israelilaisten silmien edessä; näin oli koko heidän vaelluksensa ajan.
For the cloud of Jehovah was upon the tabernacle by day, and there was fire therein by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
