Sakarjan 1
1 Kahdeksantena kuukautena toisena Dariuksen vuotena, tapahtui Herran sana Sakarjalle Berekian pojalle, Iddon pojalle, prophetalle, sanoen:
In the month eighth in year two of Darius it came [the] word of Yahweh to Zechariah [the] son of Berekiah [the] son of Iddo the prophet saying.
2 Herra on ollut vihainen teidän isillenne sangen kovasti.
He was angry Yahweh towards ancestors your anger.
3 Sano siis heille: näin sanoo Herra Zebaot: kääntykäät minun tyköni, sanoo Herra Zebaot; niin minä käännyn teidän tykönne, sanoo Herra Zebaot.
And you will say to them thus he says Yahweh of hosts return to me [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts so I may return to you he says Yahweh of hosts.
4 Älkäät olko niinkuin teidän isänne, joille entiset prophetat saarnasivat, sanoen: näin sanoo Herra Zebaot: palatkaat teidän pahoista teistänne ja teidän häijystä menostanne; mutta ei he kuulleet, eikä totelleet minua, sanoo Herra.
May not you be like ancestors your whom they proclaimed to them the prophets former saying thus he says Yahweh of hosts turn back please from ways your evil (and deeds your *Q(k)*) evil and not they listened and not they paid attention to me [the] utterance of Yahweh.
5 Kussa nyt ovat teidän isänne? ja vieläkö prophetat elävät?
Ancestors your where? [are] they and the prophets ¿ to forever do they live.
6 Eikö niin ole tapahtunut, että minun sanani ja oikeuteni, jotka minä minun palveliaini prophetain kautta käskin, ovat teidän isiinne sattuneet? että heidän täytyi palata ja sanoa: niinkuin Herra Zebaot ajatteli meille tehdä meidän teittemme ja töittemme jälkeen, niin hän on myös meille tehnyt.
Nevertheless - words my and statutes my which I commanded servants my the prophets ¿ not did they overtake ancestors your and they repented and they said just as he planned Yahweh of hosts to do to us according to ways our and according to deeds our so he has done with us.
7 Neljäntenä päivänä kolmattakymmentä ensimäisessä kuukaudessa toistakymmentä, joka on Sebatin kuu, toisena Dariuksen vuotena, tapahtui Herran sana Sakarjalle Berekian pojalle, Iddon pojalle, prophetalle, ja hän sanoi:
On day twenty and four of one [plus] ten month it [was] [the] month of Shebat in year two of Darius it came [the] word of Yahweh to Zechariah [the] son of Berekiah [the] son of Iddo the prophet saying.
8 Minä näin yöllä, ja katso, mies istui ruskian hevosen päällä, ja seisahti myrttien sekaan laaksossa, ja hänen takanansa olivat ruskiat ja maksankarvaiset ja valkiat hevoset.
I saw - the night and there! a man [was] riding on a horse red and he [was] standing between the myrtle trees which [were] in the hollow and [were] behind him horses red sorrel and white.
9 Ja minä sanoin: minun herrani, kutka nämät ovat? Ja enkeli, joka minun kanssani puhui, sanoi minulle: minä osoitan sinulle, kutka nämät ovat.
And I said what? [are] these O lord my and he said to me the angel who was speaking with me I I will show you what? they [are] these.
10 Ja mies, joka myrttien seassa oli, vastasi ja sanoi: nämät ovat ne, jotka Herra on lähettänyt vaeltamaan lävitse maan.
And he answered the man who was standing between (the myrtle trees *LB(ah)*) and he said these [are those] whom he has sent Yahweh to go about on the earth.
11 Mutta he vastasivat Herran enkelille, joka myrttien seassa oli, ja sanoivat: me olemme vaeltaneet maan lävitse, ja katso, kaikki maa istuu alallansa.
And they answered [the] angel of Yahweh who was standing between the myrtle trees and they said we have gone about on the earth and there! all the earth [is] dwelling and [is] undisturbed.
12 Niin vastasi Herran enkeli ja sanoi: Herra Zebaot, kuinka kauvan et sinä tahdo armahtaa Jerusalemia, ja Juudan kaupungeita, joille vihainen olet ollut nyt seitsemänkymmentä ajastaikaa?
And he answered [the] angel of Yahweh and he said O Yahweh of hosts until when? you not will you have compassion on Jerusalem and [the] cities of Judah which you have been indignant this seventy year[s].
13 Ja Herra vastasi sille enkelille, joka minun kanssani puhui, hyvillä ja lohdullisilla sanoilla.
And he answered Yahweh the angel who was speaking with me words good words comfort.
14 Ja enkeli, joka minua puhutteli, sanoi minulle: saarnaa ja sano: näin sanoo Herra Zebaot: minä olen suuresti kiivastunut Jerusalemille ja Zionille;
And he said to me the angel who was speaking with me proclaim saying thus he says Yahweh of hosts I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion jealousy great.
15 Mutta minä olen juuri vihainen myös suruttomille pakanoille; sillä minä olin ainoasti vähän vihainen, mutta he auttivat hävitykseen.
And anger great I [am] angry towards the nations at ease which I I was angry a little and they they have helped for evil.
16 Sentähden näin sanoo Herra: minä palajan Jerusalemiin laupiudella, ja minun huoneeni pitää hänessä rakennettaman, sanoo Herra Zebaot; ja Jerusalemin päälle pitää mittanuora vedettämän.
Therefore thus he says Yahweh I have returned to Jerusalem with compassion house my it will be rebuilt in it [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts (and a measuring-line *Q(K)*) it will be stretched out over Jerusalem.
17 Ja saarnaa vielä ja sano: näin sanoo Herra Zebaot: taas pitää minun kaupungeilleni hyvin käymän, ja Herra on Zionia taas lohduttava, ja Jerusalem taas valitaan.
Again - proclaim saying thus he says Yahweh of hosts again they will overflow cities my from good and he will comfort Yahweh again Zion and he will choose again Jerusalem.
18 Ja minä nostin silmäni ja näin: ja katso, siellä oli neljä sarvea.
And I lifted up eyes my and I saw and there! four horns.
19 Ja minä sanoin enkelille, joka puhui minun kanssani: mitä nämät ovat? Hän sanoi minulle: nämät ovat ne sarvet, jotka Juudan, Israelin ja Jerusalemin hajoittaneet ovat.
And I said to the angel who was speaking with me what? [are] these and he said to me these [are] the horns which they scattered Judah Israel and Jerusalem.
20 Ja Herra osoitti minulle neljä seppää.
And he showed me Yahweh four craftsmen.
21 Silloin minä sanoin: mitä ne tahtovat tehdä? Hän sanoi: ne ovat ne sarvet, jotka Juudan hajoittaneet ovat, juuri niin, ettei kenkään ole voinut päätänsä nostaa; nämät ovat tulleet niitä karkottamaan, ja lohkaisemaan pakanain sarvia, jotka Juudan maan ylitse sarven nostaneet ovat sitä hajoittaaksensa.
And I said what? [are] these coming to do and he said saying these [are] the horns which they scattered Judah according to [the] mouth of a man not he lifted up head his and they have come these [craftsmen] to terrify them to throw down [the] horns of the nations which lifted up a horn against [the] land of Judah to scatter it.
