1 Ja sitte näin minä toisen enkelin tulevan alas taivaasta, jolla oli suuri voima: ja maa valistui hänen kirkkaudestansa.

12 Kulta- ja hopiakaluja, ja kalliita kiviä ja päärlyjä, ja kalliita liinavaatteita, ja purpuraa ja silkkiä, ja tulipunaista, ja kaikkinaisia kalliita puita, ja kaikkinaisia astioita elephantin luista, ja kaikkinaisia astioita kalleimmista puista, ja vaskesta, ja raudasta, ja marmorista,
the ware of golde and silver and precious stones nether of pearle and raynes and purple and skarlet and all thyne wodde and almanner vessels of yvery and almanner vessels of most precious wodde and of brasse and of yron
13 Ja kanelia ja hyvänhajullisia, ja voidetta, ja pyhää savua, ja viinaa, ja öljyä, ja sämpyliä, ja nisuja, ja karjaa, lampaita ja hevosia, rattaita, ja orjia ja ihmisten sieluja.
and synamon and odours and oyntmentes and frankynsence and wyne and oyle and fyne floure and wheate bestes and shepe and horsys and charrettes and boddyes and soules of men.

23 Ja kynttilän valkeus ei pidä sinussa enää valistaman, ja yljän ja morsiamen ääni ei pidä enää sinussa kuuluman; sillä sinun kauppamiehes olivat maan päämiehet, ja sinun noitumises kautta ovat kaikki pakanat eksyneet.
and the voyce of the brydegrome and of the bryde shalbe herde no more in the: for thy marchauntes were ye grett men of ye erth. And with thyne inchantment were deceaved all nacions:
