Psalmien 65
1 Davidin Psalmi ja veisu, edelläveisaajalle. Jumala, sinua kiitetään Zionissa hiljaisuudessa; ja sinulle maksetaan lupaus.
For the end, a Psalm [and] Song of David. Praise becomes you, O God, in Sion; and to you shall the vow be performed.
2 Sinä kuulet rukouksen; sentähden tulee kaikki liha sinun tykös.
Hear my prayer; to you all flesh shall come.
3 Meidän pahat tekomme meitä kovin raskauttavat; mutta anna sinä meille synnit anteeksi.
The words of transgressors have overpowered us; but do you pardon our sins.
4 Autuas on se, jonkas valitset ja otat tykös, asumaan kartanoissas: hän ravitaan sinun huonees ja pyhän templis hyvyydestä.
Blessed [is he] whom you have chosen and adopted; he shall dwell in your courts; we shall be filled with the good things of your house; your temple is holy.
5 Kuule meitä ihmeellisestä vanhurskaudesta, meidän autuutemme Jumala, kaikkein turva maan päällä ja kaukana meressä,
[You are] wonderful in righteousness. Listen to us, O God our Saviour; the hope of all the ends of the earth, and of them [that are] on the sea afar off:
6 Joka vuoret vahvistat voimallas, ja olet hankittu väkevyydellä,
who do establish the mountains in your strength, being girded about with power;
7 Sinä joka asetat meren pauhinan ja hänen aaltoinsa pauhinan, ja kansain metelin;
who trouble the depth of the sea, the sounds of its waves.
8 Että ne hämmästyisivät, jotka niissä maan äärissä asuvat, sinun ihmeitäs. Sinä iloitat kaikki liikkuvaiset aamulla ja ehtoona.
The nations shall be troubled, and they that inhabit the ends [of the earth] shall be afraid of your signs; you will cause the outgoings of morning and evening to rejoice.
9 Sinä etsiskelet maan ja liotat sen ja teet sen ylen rikkaaksi: Jumalan virta on vettä täynnä: sinä kasvatat heidän jyvänsä, ettäs näin maan valmistat.
You have visited the earth, and saturated it; you have abundantly enriched it. The river of God is filled with water; you have prepared their food, for thus is the preparation [of it].
10 Sinä juotat hänen vakonsa ja kastat hänen kyntönsä: sateella sinä ne pehmität, ja siunaat hänen laihonsa.
Saturate her furrows, multiply her fruits; [the crop] springing up shall rejoice in its drops.
11 Sinä kaunistat vuoden hyvyydelläs, ja sinun askelees tiukkuvat rasvasta.
You will bless the crown of the year [because] of your goodness; and your plains shall be filled with fatness.
12 Korven laitumet myös tiukkuvat, ja kukkulat ovat ympäri iloissansa.
The mountains of the wilderness shall be enriched; and the hills shall gird themselves with joy.
13 Kedot ovat laumaa täynnä, ja laaksossa on tihkiältä jyviä, niin että siitä ihastutaan ja myös lauletaan.
The rams of the flock are clothed [with wool], and the valleys shall abound in corn; they shall cry aloud, yes they shall sing hymns.
