Filippiläisille 4

1 Sentähden minun rakkaat ja ihanat veljeni, minun iloni ja minun kruununi, seisokaat niin Herrassa, minun rakkaani.

So then, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and garland, so stand in the LORD, beloved.

2 Euodiaa minä neuvon ja Syntykeä minä neuvon, että he Herrassa yksimieliset olisivat.

I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to be of the same mind in the LORD;

3 Ja minä rukoilen sinua, minun uskollinen kumppanini, ole niille avullinen, jotka minun kanssani evankeliumissa kilvoitelleet ovat, ynnä Klementin ja muiden minun auttajaini kanssa, joiden nimet elämän kirjassa ovat.

and I also ask you, genuine yoke-fellow, be assisting those women who strove along with me in the good news, with Clement also, and the others, my fellow-workers, whose names [are] in [the] Scroll of Life.

4 Iloitkaat aina Herrassa, ja taas minä sanon: iloitkaat.

Rejoice in the LORD always; again I will say, rejoice!

5 Olkoon teidän siveytenne kaikille ihmisille tiettävä: Herra on läsnä.

Let your reasonableness be known to all men; the LORD [is] near;

6 Älkäät mistään murehtiko, vaan olkoon teidän anomuksenne kaikissa asioissa Jumalalle tiettävä, kaikella rukouksella ja pyytämisellä kiitoksen kanssa.

be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer, and by supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

7 Ja Jumalan rauha, joka ylitse kaiken ymmärryksen käy, varjelkoon teidän sydämenne ja teidän taitonne Kristuksessa Jesuksessa.

and the peace of God, that is surpassing all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

8 Vielä, rakkaat veljet, mikä tosi, mikä kunniallinen, mikä oikein, mikä puhdas, mikä otollinen on, mikä hyvin kuuluu, jos joku hyvä tapa ja jos joku kiitos on, ajatelkaat niitä.

As to the rest, brothers, as many things as are true, as many as [are] revered, as many as [are] righteous, as many as [are] pure, as many as [are] lovely, as many as [are] of good report, if any worthiness, and if any praise, think on these things;

9 Mitä te myös opitte, ja saitte, ja kuulitte, ja nähneet olette minussa, se tehkäät, niin rauhan Jumala on teidän kanssanne.

the things that you also learned, and receive, and hear, and saw in me, do those, and the God of peace will be with you.

10 Mutta minä olen suuresti iloinen Herrassa, että te olette taas virvonneet minusta murhetta pitämään, ehkä te sen tehneetkin olette, vaan ei teillä ollut tilaa.

And I rejoiced in the LORD greatly, that now at length you flourished again in caring for me, for which also you were caring, and lacked opportunity;

11 Enpä minä sitä sentähden sano, että minulta jotakin puuttuu; sillä minä olen oppinut, joissa minä olen, niihin tyytymään.

I do not say that in respect of want, for I learned in the things in which I am—to be content;

12 Minä taidan nöyrä olla ja taidan myös korkia olla, minä olen aina ja kaikissa harjoitettu, taidan ravittu olla ja isota, hyötyä ja köyhtyä.

I have known both to be abased, and I have known to abound; in everything and in all things I have been initiated, both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in want.

13 Minä voin kaikki sen kautta, joka minun väkeväksi tekee, Kristuksen.

I have strength for all things, in Christ’s strengthening me;

14 Kuitenkin te teitte hyvin, että te minun murheeni päällenne otitte.

but you did well, having shared in my tribulation;

15 Mutta te Philippiläiset tiedätte, ettei ensin evankeliumin alusta, kuin minä Makedoniasta läksin, yksikään seurakunta minulle mitään ollut jakanut antamisessa ja ottamisessa, vaan ainoastaan te;

and you have known, even you Philippians, that in the beginning of the good news when I went forth from Macedonia, no assembly communicated with me in regard to giving and receiving except you only;

16 Sillä kuin myös minä Tessalonikassa olin, lähetitte te kerran ja kaksi minun tarpeeni.

because in Thessalonica also, both once and again you sent to my need;

17 Ei niin, että minä lahjoja pyydän, vaan ahkeroitsen sitä, että teidän luvussanne ylitsevuotava hedelmä olis.

not that I seek after the gift, but I seek after the fruit that is overflowing to your account;

18 Sillä minulla on kaikki ja yltäkyllä, minä olen täytetty, sitte kuin minä Epaphroditukselta sain sen, mikä teiltä lähetetty oli, makian hajun, otollisen ja Jumalalle kelvollisen uhrin.

and I have all things, and abound; I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things from you—an odor of a refreshing fragrance—a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God:

19 Mutta minun Jumalani on teille antava, rikkaudestansa kaikki teidän tarpeenne, kunniassa, Jesuksen Kristuksen kautta.

and my God will supply all your need, according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus;

20 Mutta Jumalalle ja meidän Isällemme olkoon kunnia ijankaikkisesta ijankaikkiseen, amen! (aiōn g165)

and to God, even our Father, [is] the glory through the ages of the ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)

21 Tervehtikäät jokaista pyhää Kristuksessa Jesuksessa. Teitä tervehtivät ne veljet, jotka minun kanssani ovat.

Every holy one in Christ Jesus greets you; the brothers with me greet you;

22 Teitä tervehtivät kaikki pyhät, erinomattain ne, jotka keisarin huoneesta ovat.

all the holy ones greet you, and especially those of Caesar’s house.

23 Meidän Herran Jesuksen Kristuksen armo olkoon kaikkein teidän kanssanne, amen!

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [is] with you all! Amen.
