1 Nämät ovat Israelin lasten matkustukset, kuin he läksivät Egyptin maalta, joukkoinsa jälkeen, Moseksen ja Aaronin kautta.
These, are the departures of the sons of Israel whereby they came forth out of the land of Egypt by their hosts, —in the hand of Moses and Aaron.
2 Ja Moses kirjoitti heidän matkustuksensa, niinkuin he matkustivat Herran käskyn jälkeen. Ja nämät ovat heidän matkustuksensa heidän lähdentönsä jälkeen:
And Moses wrote their comings forth by their departures, at the bidding of Yahweh, —and these, are their departures by their comings forth.
3 Ja he matkustivat Ramesesta viidentenätoistakymmenentenä päivänä ensimäisenä kuukautena: toisena päivänä pääsiäisestä, läksivät Israelin lapset ulos korkian käden kautta, kaikkein Egyptiläisten nähden.
So then they brake up from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the morrow of the passover, came forth the sons of Israel with an uplifted hand, in the sight of all the Egyptians;
4 Ja Egyptiläiset hautasivat kaikki esikoisensa, jotka Herra heidän seassansa lyönyt oli, ja Herra oli myös antanut tuomion käydä heidän jumalainsa ylitse.
when the Egyptians, were burying them whom Yahweh had smitten among them, every firstborn, —when, upon their gods, Yahweh had executed judgments,
5 Koska Israelin lapset olivat vaeltaneet Ramesesta, niin he sioittivat itsensä Sukkotiin.
Thus then the sons of Israel brake up from Rameses, —and encamped in Succoth.
6 Ja matkustivat Sukkotista, ja sioittivat itsensä Etamiin, joka on korven äärellä.
And they brake up from Succoth, —and encamped in Etham, which is at the edge of the desert.
7 Ja he matkustivat Etamista ja palasivat PiiHahirotiin, joka on BaalZephoniin päin, ja sioittivat itsensä Migdolin kohdalle.
And they brake up from Etham, and turned upon Pi-hahiroth, which is over against Baal-zephon, —and encamped before Migdol.
8 Ja he matkustivat Hahirotin editse ja kävivät keskeltä merta korpeen, ja matkustivat kolme päiväkuntaa Etamin korvessa, ja sioittivat itsensä Maraan.
And they brake up from before Hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea towards the desert, —and went their way a journey of three days in the desert of Etham, and encamped in Marah.
9 Ja he matkustivat Marasta ja tulivat Elimiin: ja Elimissä oli kaksitoistakymmentä lähdettä, ja seitsemänkymmentä palmupuuta, ja sioittivat itsensä siellä.
And they brake up from Marah, and came in towards Elim; there being, in Elim, twelve fountains of water, and seventy palm-trees, so they encamped there.
10 Ja he matkustivat Elimistä, ja sioittivat itsensä Punaisen meren tykö.
And they brake up from Elim, —and encamped by the Red Sea.
11 Ja matkustivat Punaisen meren tyköä, ja sioittivat itsensä Sinin korpeen.
And they brake up from the Red Sea, —and encamped in the desert of Sin.
12 Ja he matkustivat Sinin korvesta, ja sioittivat itsensä Dophkaan.
And they brake up from the desert of Sin, —and encamped in Dophkah.
13 Ja he matkustivat Dophkasta, ja sioittivat itsensä Alusiin.
And they brake up from Dophkah, —and encamped in Alush.
14 Ja he matkustivat Alusista, ja sioittivat itsensä Raphidimiin, ja siinä ei ollut kansalle vettä juoda.
And they brake up from Alush, —and encamped in Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
15 Ja he matkustivat Raphidimista, ja sioittivat itsensä Sinain korpeen.
And they brake up from Rephidim, —and encamped in the desert of Sinai.
16 Ja he matkustivat Sinain korvesta, ja sioittivat itsensä Himohaudoille.
And they brake up from the desert of Sinai, —and encamped in Kibroth-hattaavah.
17 Ja he matkustivat Himohaudoilta, ja sioittivat itsensä Hatserotiin.
And they brake up from Kibroth-hattaavah, —and encamped in Hazeroth.
18 Ja he matkustivat Hatserotista, ja sioittivat itsensä Ritmaan.
And they brake up from Hazeroth, —and encamped in Rithmah.
19 Ja he matkustivat Ritmasta, ja sioittivat itsensä Rimmon Paretsiin.
And they brake up from Rithmah, —and encamped in Rimmon-perez.
20 Ja he matkustivat Rimmon Paretsista, ja sioittivat itsensä Libnaan.
And they brake up from Rimmon-perez, —and encamped in Libnah.
21 Ja he matkustivat Libnasta, ja sioittivat itsensä Rissaan.
And they brake up from Libnah, —and encamped in Rissah.
22 Ja he matkustivat Rissasta, ja sioittivat itsensä Kehelaan.
And they brake up from Rissah, —and encamped in Kehelathah.
23 Ja he matkustivat Kehelasta, ja sioittivat itsensä Sapherin vuorelle.
And they brake up from Kehelathah, —and encamped in Mount Shepher.
24 Ja he matkustivat Sapherin vuorelta, ja sioittivat itsensä Haradaan.
And they brake up from Mount Shepher, —and encamped in Haradah.
25 Ja he matkustivat Haradasta ja sioittivat itsensä Makhelotiin.
And they brake up from Haradah, —and encamped in Makheloth.
26 Ja he matkustivat Makhelotista, ja sioittivat itsensä Tahatiin.
And they brake up from Makheloth, —and encamped in Tahath.
27 Ja he matkustivat Tahatista, ja sioittivat itsensä Taraan.
And they brake up from Tahath, —and encamped in Terah.
28 Ja he matkustivat Tarasta, ja sioittivat itsensä Mitkaan.
And they brake up from Terah, —and encamped in Mithkah.
29 Ja he matkustivat Mitkasta, ja sioittivat itsensä Hasmonaan.
And they brake up from Mithkah, —and encamped in Hashmonah.
30 Ja he matkustivat Hasmonasta, ja sioittivat itsensä Moserotiin.
And they brake up from Hashmonah, —and encamped in Moseroth.
31 Ja he matkustivat Moserotista, ja sioittivat itsensä BeneJaekaniin.
And they brake up from Moseroth, and encamped in Bene-jaakan.
32 Ja he matkustivat BeneJaekanista, ja sioittivat itsensä Horgidgadiin.
And they brake up from Bene-jaakan, and encamped in Hor-haggidgad.
33 Ja he matkustivat Horgidgadista, ja sioittivat itsensä Jotbataan.
And they brake up from Hor-haggidgad, —and encamped in Jotbathah, —
34 Ja he matkustivat Jotbatasta, ja sioittivat itsensä Abronaan.
And they brake up from Jotbathah, —and encamped in Abronah.
35 Ja he matkustivat Abronasta, ja sioittivat itsensä Etseongeberiin.
And they brake up from Abronah, —and encamped in Eziongeber.
36 Ja he matkustivat Etseongeberistä, ja sioittivat itsensä Sinin korpeen, se on Kades.
And they brake up from Eziongeber, —and encamped in the desert of Zin, the same, is Kadesh.
37 Ja he matkustivat Kadeksesta, ja sioittivat itsensä Horin vuorelle, joka on Edomin maan rajoilla.
And they brake, up from Kadesh, —and encamped in Mount Hor, on the outskirts of the land of Edom;
38 Siinä meni pappi Aaron Horin vuorelle, Herran käskyn jälkeen, ja kuoli siellä neljäntenäkymmenentenä vuotena, sittekuin Israelin lapset olivat lähteneet Egyptin maalta, ensimäisenä päivänä viidennestä kuusta.
and Aaron the priest went up into Mount Hor, at the bidding of Yahweh, and died there, in the fortieth year, by the coming forth of the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first of the month.
39 Ja Aaron oli sadan ja kolmenkolmattakymmentä vuotinen kuollessansa Horin vuorella.
Now, Aaron, was a hundred and twenty-three years old, when he died in Mount Hor.
40 Silloin kuuli Arad Kanaanealaisten kuningas, joka asui etelään päin Kanaanin maalla, että Israelin lapset tulleet olivat.
And a Canaanite king of Arad, who was dwelling in the South, in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming in of the sons of Israel.
41 Ja he matkustivat Horin vuorelta, ja sioittivat itsensä Salmonaan.
And, they brake up from Mount Hor, —and encamped in Zalmonah.
42 Ja he matkustivat Salmonasta, ja sioittivat itsensä Phunoniin.
And they brake up from Zalmonah, —and encamped in Punon.
43 Ja he matkustivat Phunonista, ja sioittivat itsensä Obotiin.
And they brake up from Punon, and encamped in Oboth.
44 Ja he matkustivat Obotista, ja sioittivat itsensä Iije Abarimiin, Moabin rajoille.
And they brake up from Oboth, —and encamped in Iye-abarim, within the bounds of Moab.
45 Ja he matkustivat Iijestä, ja sioittivat itsensä DibonGadiin.
And they brake up from Iyim, —and encamped in Dibon-gad.
46 Ja he matkustivat DibonGadista, ja sioittivat itsensä AlmonDiblataimiin.
And they brake up from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.
47 Ja he matkustivat AlmonDiblataimista, ja sioittivat itsensä Abarimin vuorille Nebon kohdalle.
And they brake up from Almon-diblathaim, —and encamped among the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
48 Ja he matkustivat Abarimin vuorilta, ja sioittivat itsensä Moabin kedoille, Jordanin tykö, Jerihon kohdalle.
And they brake up from the mountains of Abarim, —and encamped in the waste plains of Moab, by Jordan near Jericho.
49 Ja he sioittivat itsensä Jordanin tykö hamasta BetJesimotista, niin AbelSittimiin Moabin kedoille.
Thus did they encamp by the Jordan from Beth-jeshimoth unto Abel-Shittim [that is, "The acacia—meadows"]—in the waste plains of Moab.
50 Ja Herra puhui Mosekselle, Moabin kedoilla, Jordanin tykönä Jerihon kohdalla, sanoen:
And Yahweh spake unto Moses, in the waste plains of Moab, by Jordan near Jericho saying:
51 Puhu Israelin lapsille, ja sano heille: kuin te olette tulleet Jordanin ylitse Kanaanin maalle,
Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, —When ye do pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
52 Niin teidän pitää kaikki sen maan asuvaiset teidän edestänne ajaman pois, ja kaikki heidän maalauksensa ja valetut kuvansa hukuttaman, ja kaikki heidän korkeutensa hävittämän,
then shall ye dispossess all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and shall destroy all their figured stones, —all their molten images, also shall ye destroy, and all their high places, shall ye lay waste.
53 Ja niin teidän pitää maan omistaman ja asuman siinä; sillä teille olen minä maan antanut omistaaksenne sen.
So shall ye possess the land, and settle down therein, —for unto you, have I given the land to possess it.
54 Ja teidän pitää maan jakaman arvalla teidän sukukunnillenne. Joita usiampi on, niille pitää teidän enempi antaman perinnöksensä, ja joita vähempi on, niille vähemmän perinnöksensä; kuin arpa lankee kullekin, niin pitää hänen sen ottaman: teidän isäinne sukukuntain jälkeen pitää teidän perimän.
And ye shall take your inheritance in the land by lot by your families—for the large one, ye shall make large his inheritance, and for the small one, make small his inheritance, whithersoever the lot cometh out to him, his, shall, it be, by the tribes of your fathers, shall ye take your inheritance.
55 Mutta jollette maan asuvaisia aja ulos teidän edestänne, niin pitää ne, jotka te heistä jätätte, oleman teille niinkuin orjantappurat silmissänne, ja keihäs kyljessänne; sillä heidän pitää ahdistaman teitä sillä maalla, kussa te asutte.
But if ye do not dispossess the inhabitants of the land from before you, then shall it be. that they whom ye leave remaining of them will become pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and will harass you, concerning the land, wherein, ye are settling down.
56 Niin tapahtuu, että minä teen niin teille, kuin minä aioin heille tehdä.
And it shall be, that as I thought to do unto them, I will do unto you.
